Roompot Bloemendaal aan Zee

We enjoyed our stay here as two adults with a dog. The park the houses are in is very nice and peaceful, all the houses are really close to each other and a lot of them don't offer a lot of privacy but we had some luck with the location of ours. Sadly, our room was not cleaned thoroughly in some areas before arriving - mainly; the windows were not cleaned at all and were unpleasant to look out of, sad with such a nice view. The location is absolutely stunning, national park and the beach are right next to it, the environment is calm as there isn't a lot of traffic, bus station is right in front of the roompot. Now I want to get to some things that bothered us, they aren't major for a vacation like this but I advise you to plan ahead on these things! They are not communicated properly beforehand and we were a bit disappointed with these things: • each room only gets the tiniest bit of necessities, we only got 2 towels for the whole house, 1 roll of thin toilet paper and a very small choice of dishes in the cabinet. we didn't even have soap in our bathroom... they want you to buy stuff like this from their shop so just plan ahead and pack some of those things beforehand. • the entrance to the beach right across from the park is a no dog zone in the summer season, you need to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to the dog beach. • the TV does not have Smart TV despite claiming so, at least it didn't work on either of the 2 TVs in our room. • the Wifi is bad, really bad. It's not even serviceable most of the time. • you can definitely hear the racetrack that's nearby all day, but it is not at all disruptive If you take these things into account when planning to stay here and pack accordingly this is a very nice vacation spot! Sadly that makes the service here appear a bit greedy and like a minimum effort.

NO SERVICE - NO HELP 😔! My boyfriend and I had a booking: 0002541951000, which we accidentally cancelled. We have been very honest, and the mistake happened because the language was set to Dutch (which we absolutly don’t understand) and made this “stupid” mistake. We have called a 100 times and spoken to you a lot afterwards to get the booking reinstated. This was not possible and therefore we were promised to almost get the full amount refunded. This was confirmed on August 11th on phone and noted in your system. We paid €1,600 and have received less than €200 back, and there is nothing you can do? Your employees say many different things, and we were promised either the amount back or the booking reinstated – now we have lost both! It is completely outrageous and unacceptable that you are not helping us. It is absolutely the most disappointing service we have ever experienced, especially when we actually wanted to keep the booking with you. Never experienced anything like it before. We even asked if, in that case – even though we are losing both the booking and the large sum of money – that we could at least just park our car on the days we had the booking, which was also refused. I am speechless. We don’t think it’s much to ask, now that we are losing everything. This is a huge amount of money and we also need a new place to stay. We are truly upset about this, and therefore we unfortunately have to move forward with sharing this experience. We all make mistakes - but we should be able to help each other. So, if you need help, this is not the place to book.

The service at this place is an absolute joke. After a long day at the F1 race, we returned soaking wet from the rain, only to be denied extra towels to dry off our belongings. I was standing there, dripping wet, repeatedly asking for a few simple towels, and was outright refused multiple times. The nerve of the young man who had the gall to snap at me, saying, “You’ve asked three times already,” as if I was the one being unreasonable! His colleague had directed me to him for the towels, yet I was treated like I was causing a problem. And that’s not even the worst of it. They don’t provide basic necessities like toilet paper—just a single roll, after which you’re expected to go buy your own. The toilet paper they do provide to purchase? Feels like sandpaper, and you’re supposed to purchase more of it as they won’t give any freebies. Not to mention, no where in the posting did it say these basic necessities wouldn’t be supplied, so we wouldn’t even know to pack them. Sure, the location is great, but who cares when the service is this abysmal and they’re too cheap to provide the essentials? We traveled all the way from Canada, and it’s ridiculous to expect us to pack extra towels, toilet paper, and shower gel. This place is an absolute disgrace, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values even a shred of decent hospitality.

Overall the location is definitely nice. The cabins are generally well maintained. It is located close to the beach. Also close to the race track which you can hear in yhe back sometimes. But not too annoying. Wifi iis fast. Price was ok.||Staff was often helpful, but sometimes they didn't make the impression that that they had ever worked in hospitality. Cabins should be cleaned way better though, don't look under the bed, yikes!|The brasserie is really just ok.|

Our experience as a couple was wonderful. We spent about 4 to 5 days at the beach house. It was super quiet and felt like home. Very well equipped so we could definitely cook. But they did have a nice take away menu delivered at the door which was convenient. Staff was very sweet to us upon arrival. They also have a mini convenience store so we could get kaiser broodjes every morning. The only thing we were uncomfortable with was the twin beds. But other than that the place is surrounded by dunes so we had 2 /3 nice walks by the beach and the dunes. Beautiful and quiet landscapes was definitely the highlight.

Second time here, once in November, now for Easter Holidays. Very nice park, clean and well maintained. Maybe some privacy board for the terrace would be nice and prices are on upper level. Nice and friendly staff! If you like racing the Zandvoort circuit is 5 Minutes by bike, but be aware racing sound is there all the day. I like it, but it is for sure nothing for anyone.

It is a nice, somehow small and densely built up park. Every house is pretty close to another house in comparison to other roompot parks (i. e. Ameland, …). Nevertheless the service is good, everyone is courteous and friendly.

Good houses. I really like racing but sometimes when the windows are opened the race circuit is too loud. In addition to that you will hear on the weekends loud music especially bass from the water which is annoying. Service for houses is good and beds are good as well.
