"There are plenty of places in Toronto to catch a boogie, but Rooms stands out as a true hybrid: by day a Japanese-inspired café with soft lighting, vinyl on rotation, and carefully brewed coffee (the peach yuzu latte is worth it), and by night a hi‑fi listening bar where jazz, funk, and soul take over—Mondays bring the Boring Friends Chess Club and it lives inside 915 Dupont amid creative energy." - Coolstuff Team

Google
Popped into Rooms Cocktail Bar and honestly, what a gem. Super chill vibe, cozy space, and the drinks? Top notch. Huge shoutout to Andrew — he seriously made the night. So friendly, super knowledgeable, and just really made us feel taken care of. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows. If you're into great cocktails, incredible food and even better service, definitely check this place out. Will 100% be coming back!

Google
never been to a rooms location but will def want to come back and/or go to their other locations! music was amazing and the entire atmosphere was beautifully decorated. the food was also perfectly sized and great variety to try out as a group w a unique drink menu. ended off the night w their matcha soft serve that was perfect!

Big big vibe! Really love the decor. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it. The drinks we had were really good. The pastry didn't blow me out of the water but everything else makes up for that.

Google
perfect spot to chill. whether you’re enjoying a drink alone or on a date. It’s the kind of place you can hang out any time of the day. the highlight of our night was their mackerel fish 👌 a must try appetiser. they even play dragon ball in the background! so cute.

This place has a distinct and memorable vibe. From the moment you step inside, there’s a noticeable sense of shared energy among the people around. The design combines Japanese-inspired elements with modern touches, creating a space that’s both warm and stylish. During the day, it’s a great spot for coffee and light snacks, but in the evening, it transitions into a bar with dinner service—something I’m definitely planning to come back for. I also appreciated the thoughtful choice to designate certain seating areas for people, not laptops, which helps promote a more social and relaxed environment.

Google
A truly unique and refreshing bar. When we visited, there happened to be a live African live jazz performance surprisingly, the traditional Japanese-inspired interior paired beautifully with the music, creating a really special atmosphere. There’s so much to take in just by walking around the space; every corner has something interesting to offer. The food was reasonably priced, yet well-executed and delicious. If you’re looking for a spot to socialize and soak in something a little different, this place is definitely worth a visit:)

Google
Really great ambiance and delicious matcha! It was a little busy but the cafe is very quant and cozy. They had a DJ playing a set when we stopped by, which was pretty unique for a cafe. Highly suggest giving this place a try!

Yelp
The first thing you will notice here is the vibes. It is just pure, unadulterated vibes. From the eclectic interior, floor to barstool seating, to the disco ball greeting you as soon as you walk inside. Of their food offerings, the highlight for me was the ice cream surprisingly. It is a summer item I believe, so try it while it is available!

Yelp
One of the coolest places I've been to in Toronto this year! The sitting situation is very unique, you get some Japanese style seating, some camp chairs, a bench and many more. Their mango sticky rice latte and peach yuzu latte were both soooooooo good!! Not overly sweet and flavours all balanced well. Shall make a visit to you again at night! The location and service was very chill and welcoming, loved it!

Yelp
Such a cute chill ambiance. Definitely a hidden gem in Toronto. Found this cafe online as I needed a quiet space for work. I order an ice americano, matcha tart and an avocado toast. Food was decent but not the best. They have a few selection of baked goods and food option. I definitely came here more for the vibe rather than the food. Good cafe to chill, and talk with friends as well. The interrompue decor is quite unique with a mixture of retro-Japanese style?

Yelp
915 Dupont had been on my radar for quite some time after seeing their Instagram page. Clearly others felt the same way, as it was pretty busy the Saturday we visited, with the line nearly going out the door. It was a bit hectic getting our drinks ordered and finding a seat. They have since implemented a booking system to help with managing capacity. The vibes are immaculate with its warm decor, dim lighting, and Japanese influence. Each area of the space seems to have its own character. One corner is more like a typical cafe with larger tables for groups. As you walk inwards, it feels like someone's cozy living room. The back corner feels like you've stumbled upon an alleyway. The beverages were solid (wouldn't expect anything less from Rooms Coffee). There are no laptops permitted on weekends. Definitely more of a 'social' cafe, and I'd love to check out one of their special event days / DJ nights.

Yelp
This place has one of the coolest vibes in the city. Japanese with records and a disco ball. Great for a coffee hang with a friend. No laptops on weekend. Dj's spinning around 12pm. In the evening they do cocktails (I'll have to come back) It was LOVELY!

Yelp
Music, great coffee, and comfortable bohemian decor with hints of the Japanese roots of, I assume, the owner. The music playing when we dropped by was perfect for coffee. My latte was delicious and beautifully made in a gorgeous cup. My avo toast was delicious. The decor is mix and match wood furniture, most of it probably circa 1960s, all arranged in a way that promotes conversation if you wish it. There's an emphasis on music, with a DJ setup in a corner nook. Remember, this is coffee den by day, Japanese cocktail joint by night.

Yelp
915 Dupont has a different vibe during the day and on a weekend night. During the day, there's coffee and tea, with spaces to work and hang out. At night, there are cocktails, beer, sake, whiskey, and a DJ - the place was packed on a cold Saturday night, and this spot seamlessly transitioned from a cozy morning refuge to a vibrant nightspot. The versatile atmosphere made it an ideal place to both work and unwind.

Yelp
915 Dupont is a coffee shop - their cafe portion is run by Rooms Coffee (their other locations include 135 Ossington and 450 Dufferin). Located on Dupont near Ossington, this space will also have whiskey and cocktails as well in the future. The coffee shop is somewhat hidden if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. There isn't any signage but you'll see the noren (Japanese fabric dividers) at the doorway. I saw that 915 Dupont recently opened last week thanks to their Instagram. I was excited to check out the space and I was so pleasantly surprised. When you enter, you feel as though you are transported back to an old school Japanese interior. There is Jpop playing and all the tables, props, décor all makes for one beautiful space. There is even a zen garden in one of the rooms. Honestly this space had such good Japanese vibes I instantly missed Japan. Every detail of the shop is wonderful and unique. For drinks, I ordered a flat white. Like all the other Rooms Coffee locations, it was made well. Service was friendly as well. Overall, gorgeous space for coffee (and hopefully cocktails soon!). You won't be disappointment, already thinking about the next time I'll visit 915 Dupont.

Yelp
After reading Ada's review, and seeing KTA's post about a Saturday night party, YES I've got time, I'm free, I'm down, 100% yesssireeeeee. And I wasn't disappointed. This is the kind of spot that reminded me of hanging out in the living room with my dad during those lazy days when he told us to shut up and listen to the music on the Dynaco A-25 speakers. It's a great space for listening to music and sipping on some rare Japanese whisky with different seating depending on your mood. Sitting at the bar there were two fabulous JBL bookshelf speakers perfectly aligned with a human's ears and coupled with KTAs selections of music really hit nicely on a Saturday night. Vintage audio gear abounded here. The interior design was good acoustically, but also aesthetically as well. The Japanese bento box theme was pervasive and each little box space had something interesting to look at in it, with no detail left to chance. The colours were all natural wood, teak and walnut, vinyl and porcelain. Just gorgeous! Really love it when people put effort in their design and collaborations. You had me right from the start!

Yelp
Vibes, coffee, vibes, whiskey, vibes, beer, vibes, vibes, vibes. But mostly, you guessed it, vibes. LOVE this place. Don't go here. I want it to myself.

Yelp
I came here during the day for the 'Rooms Coffee' portion of the business and damn... as a coffee shop I gotta say it's the best vibe for a coffee shop that you will find in Toronto. It's so good that I don't want to write a review and keep it a secret. The review by Ada L pretty much covers it. Seating fits about 30 people. Wifi tested at a strong 137mbps. I didn't notice any electrical power outlets. There was a limited amount of pastries when I visited. There was about 10 other people here but it's really quiet due to the vibe/jazz/dark decor. Definitely my new favorite.

Yelp
Another amazing space ruined by blasting music too loud. Completely ruins the atmosphere.
