Roomzzz Manchester Victoria

Spotlessly clean apartment in the heart of the city, great check in experience and late checkout was only a tenner. Well equipped kitchen area, comfy bed, generous bathroom and large Tv and sofa. The apartment we had was compact but for £79 in the heart of the city, it was a bargain. Will definitely stop here again, thank you.

So much banging of doors. Enough to drive you mad. Bed quite hard and not enough pillows in room for our booking. Handy having the fridge, Hob and microwave. The bathroom could do with better shower doors, water went everywhere. Also the bathroom door being frosted glass but no blind in the bathroom meant light coming through from outside all night. Honestly the only redeeming features are the location for what we needed and the small kitchen, even though there wasn't enough cutlery for our booking.

We stayed at Roomzzz Manchester Victoria for 1 night on 29/01/26. The good: - The hotel is about as central as you can get - The room itself was modern and the bed was comfortable - There are some lovely architectural features, both inside and out, reminding you of the grand history of the building The not so good: - We tried to book early check in, but found that we couldn't do so online. We rang and were told that early check in was subject to availability on the day, so we should "turn up at 1pm and hope for the best". This is a bizarre policy; guests who want early check-in want the certainty of a prepared room, not a potential 2-hour wait in the foyer until their room is made up - Because of the above uncertainty, we turned up at around 2:15. The receptionist on at the time of our arrival (Elizabeth, who was in all other respects very friendly and helpful) agreed to "comp" the early check-in fee. However, the money taken from my card still included the £10 early check-in fee. When I queried this with another receptionist the following morning, I was told that receptionists do not have the authority to "comp" anything and that the £10 early check-in fee would not be refunded. Clearly there is a training issue if receptionists are promising something they aren't authorised to deliver - At one point during our stay, we accidentally found ourselves outside of our room without our key card. This was entirely our fault. However, the corridors in this hotel are set up such that the key card is required every few metres and it is impossible to get either forwards or backwards to reception without one. As such, we found ourselves trapped between two locked doors. A plaque on the wall gives a number to call if this happens, but we tried to get through to them over 15 times over the space of almost an hour with no success, eventually being let out by a cleaner who happened to stumble upon us while making up a room! Quite clearly this was not only an inconvenience but also a huge safety issue. If the hotel wishes to have so many locked doors and potential "traps", it is vital they have adequate staff on duty such that the emergency number is always available This hotel has a lot of potential but is currently being let down by significant issues with service. In its current format I wouldn't stay again, which is a shame as the room itself exceeded expectations for the price point.

We had an amazing stay at Roomzzz Manchester! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Manchester — we will definitely be back!

The room is nice enough and well located. But the customer service was terrible. I wasn’t especially expecting 5* service, but I arrived at the check-in desk and there were 3 members of staff in their own conversations and just left me standing for a couple of minutes. Eventually one of them did check me in, but the whole situation felt almost hostile. And then on the morning of check out, twice staff knocked on our door to see if we were checking out as they had other guests wanting to check in earlier. This was before our own check out time. Overall, the room was fine, but based on the service I wouldn’t stay here again.

What an amazing hotel. The location is centrally located with transit right next door. The old building is really cool to stay in with modern rooms. We stayed in the Sovereign Suite with it's own turret, it was super cool to see the city in 365 degree views. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is really comfortable. The heat wasn't working, but they got us a large plug in radiator heater that fixed that. The staff is incredible and super friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying at Roomzzz in Manchester. Thank you Elisabeth and Emily for your help, you two are both amazing.

I stayed for a night, and had a slight issue with another guest. However, Emily & Martin went above and beyond to ensure, my comfortability, safety and made sure I was content with my stay. They went as far as bringing my food to my room from a delivery driver, so I wouldn’t encounter any possible issues. They dealt with it and mitigated any risks as well as check in on me. Emily suggested and changed my rooms to a different floor, and Martin checked in on me physically to ensure I was ok, and called to check I was fine. This was very comforting, and eased my nerves. I was able to sleep peacefully knowing the staff members cared, were looking out for me, ready to intervene and escalate. 10/10 for service. Location is really lovely too!

First time in Manchester When we got into the hotel lobby This girl named Elizabeth with blue glasses at the reception, she wasn’t friendly to us at all and when we asked why the telephone number of hotel isn’t working Then she’s like’ what is this regarding?!’ With really not friendly tone !!! We just said we can’t find the parking lot And they didn’t provide any parking Which they shouldn’t have put on the website then. Anyways you shouldn’t have argued with customer as receptionist. Not even welcome to the hotel or greeting of this place. The whole check in process wasn’t pleasant And saying there’s free croissant in weird accent. Like she didn’t open her mouth to speak the whole time ? Location is good Room is alright clean but Bed is terrible to sleep for. But like service is extremely terrible Like they train to give bad service. Probably won’t return to this hotel.
