Great place, Great ambiance, Great food, Great hospitality, Great accommodations, and very lovely horses. Just came back from 6 days at Kothi with daily horse rides in the local countryside. Surendra and staff at the hotel & stables were very friendly & helpful. Host Devendra added the magic touch. For me the rooms and the service was 5-Star quality. We also took the horses for 2 days to ride at Mahansar Fort. Then took the horses for 2 days to the Pushkar Fair, the only way to see the camel fair in the desert. It was a long journey to get there but it was totally worth it.

I had a wonderful time here! The room was clean and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the whole property is beautiful. My absolute favorite part though, were the Marwari horses! My ride was so fun! Having tea with with the owner at the stables talking about horses was one of the best things about my entire trip to India!

We stayed at this hotel during a motorcycle tour of Rajasthan in February 2024. What a wonderful experience our stay was, too!||After a hard day’s riding from Jaipur, entry through the grand gate (past the historic cannons on either side) onto the circular drive of this expansive, heritage country house (including stables!) ushered we tired travellers into a warm and peaceful welcome from a more genteel and noble time!||Everything about this hotel is marvellous. The old-world charm of the guest rooms (in separate guesthouses from the main house) to the excellent restaurant, the meticulously manicured grounds (including peacocks) and the fabulous stables housing their 60 beautiful Marwari horses. Love their curled ears!||Special highlights were the tour the head farrier gave us through the riding/breeding stables and dairy, and watching the riding horses gallop back to their own night stalls from their day pastures. Truly brilliant! ||If you are visiting Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region, perhaps looking to take in the gorgeously frescoed havelis of Nawalgarh town, seeking a unique horse-riding experience, or maybe just after a bit of elegance and allure from days of yore, you cannot do better than to stay at this beautiful heritage hotel.

Roop Niwas Kothi is uniquely positioned for its royal family members inolvement (giving sense of history to travellers), heritage character of stay, experiential offerings, lots of space. less-touristy and more authentic character of Nalwalgarh as a whole. ||What was an eye opener was that Mandawa Havelis are poor cousins of ones at Nawalgarh, which are most impressive. Even the market was buzzing and a walking around was an experience. So for heritage and experiential travellers Nawalgarh is a must stay.||Rooms at Roop niwas Kothi are large, well maintained and some are even newly renovated. The two bedroom with a hall in between with a TV is nice as we were able to see the cricket match in evening. ||Meals and services were good and meal prices are reasonable (Was expecting to be higher). Because of the large spread of the area, overall experience here is very relaxing (while being very close to the nawalgarh old city and town centre)||The horses when they are freed in evening, the few minutes spent around them was a unique experience. ||All in all it was a weekend well spent and definitely memorable one !!

I am just giving them 1 star because someone in my WhatsApp is asking to fake review here. I just want people to please be aware of paid reviews and request to them don’t write fake paid reviews just for some pennies. Reviews are meant to provide people a better service and understanding. I also request hotel owner to stop hiring for fake reviews.

I visit Nawalgarh quite often, but this was was my first stay at Roop Niwas Kothi. It was an excellent experience. The property is huge, has a pool, well maintained lawns and with a Stable next door. Watching the horses being groomed, was itself an experience.||||The rooms are big and spacious and very well maintained. The living area adjacent to the rooms is very convenient and cosy. I was surprised with the upkeep, specially when things were not so normal during the Covid days. The food was excellent - all the preparations. Lastly the Staff was very nice and well mannered. eager to help with a smile. overall the stay was fantastic....would love to go back in due course...

We have just returned from our stayed at Roop Niwas Kothi for 3 nights. This is a spacious well appointed building with tastefully decorated rooms. The green lawns with peacocks running through them and the stables with over 40 horses make this a unique experience. The food is freshly made to order since we were the only people staying there and the quality was fantastic. An added bonus is listening to the stories recounted by the owner Devendra Singh who is a part of the original family that founded Nawalgarh. The property has a good blend of historic ambience with all modern comforts including a pool. The Havelis of Nawalgarh are just walking distance from the property. It was a memorable experience and worth coming back to.
