Nice little café to hang out with a friend. The coffee smells and tastes great, and the staff is friendly. They also sell their own coffee brand, which is cool. The vibe is good, but seating is pretty limited. There’s a small selection of pastries, but I don’t think they’re made in-house. I tried the cinnamon bun, and honestly, it was the worst one I’ve ever had. It barely smelled like cinnamon, looked messy, and was way too sugary. The worst part? Every bite was full of sugar crystals, which was not pleasant. Definitely not a well-made pastry. I’d come back for the coffee, but I wouldn’t recommend the cinnamon bun.

A great café, especially on sunny days. Its main strengths are the spacious environment and delicious desserts. However, it’s often quite crowded. One suggestion would be to add a bin on the second floor to avoid having to go downstairs to dispose of trash. Also, the matcha could be improved—it wasn’t made very well

My sister and I have been coming to Rooster Jarvis for almost 10 years and we have loved every minute! The coffee and matcha is well-executed every time, and we prefer it to all other coffee shops in the Bloor-Church area. It's a great spot to sit outside on the patio, which gets great sun in the mornings!

Amazing coffee with a rich, unique bean flavor that truly stands out. The scones are deliciously healthy, perfectly balanced in texture, and full of flavor. Their cinnamon rolls are heavenly, with just the right amount of cinnamon to create a warm, comforting taste. Each bite of these freshly baked treats complements the bold coffee experience, making it an irresistible combination. Whether you're a coffee lover or just looking for a delightful snack, this spot hits all the right notes for a memorable and satisfying experience. Highly recommend for coffee and pastry enthusiasts alike!

I love this cafe. Fav of all time. I’ve tried their lattes, pastries, and muffin and all were amazing. Not overly sweet with rich flavours. The atmosphere is also amazing!! Very spacy with charging ports available. I love studying here.

Okay coffee. Paid 5.5$+tax/tip for a medium chai latte served in a simple cup. Good taste but nothing special. A cozy two-story place with small tables and counter tops for working. I went there for working for a few hours but I couldn't be efficient as the space is small so people have to sit close to eachother which disturbed my focus. Also, I couldn't find a power outlet close to me on the 2nd floor so my laptop died in the middle. One of the ladies at the counter was nice.

A Perfect Spot for Work and Relaxation This café is a gem for anyone looking for a cozy place to work or simply unwind with a delicious drink and a pastry. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and just the right level of background music to keep you focused. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel welcome and cared for. There’s also free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets, making it ideal for remote work or studying. You can adapt this further based on your experience!

Nice neighbourhood coffee spot, coffee is great, excellent selection of pastries/muffins, accessible for wheelchairs/strollers (although I didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment on their accessibility), nice outdoor area which gets sun in the morning
