Rooster T Feathers Comedy Club

This is a great local comedy club. I need to visit more often. A friendly staff and although the menu is very limited, the food was surprisingly good. My wife had a nacho platter and I had the quarter pound hot dog which I never eat hot dogs and this was very tasty. As were her nachos. I'll attach the latest menus from November of 2025

Excellent comedy club with a great layout and lovely artist area (for performers)! A friend recently performed for three nights, and we had a wonderful time. Solid bar options and a limited but very tasty food menu along with consistently excellent service made for a wonderful time. I worked in Sunnyvale and am disappointed that I didn’t learn about Rooster T Feathers until now. They’ve been in business ~40 years with the current owner for ~25 years, and she awesome on both personal and professional levels. I’ll definitely be back and hope to see more friends perform here soon!

Such a great and cozy comedy joint. Famous comics in a quaint venue. Parking is dicey but it is simple to enter, sit and leave.

We’re new to the area but frequent comedy shows. The line up we saw here was pretty good (mixed bag as always but overall pretty good), but the food and service were inconsistent. We could tell some areas had better service than others and we had a hard time getting our servers attention. When she would come by to ask if we needed anything, we’d have to remind her we already ordered and she still hadn’t brought it … twice. Maybe she was new? The food is very overpriced considering it’s baseball game concession stand style. I don’t think they have a full service kitchen, which is no problem but I would recommend people spend their money on drinks at this place. Lastly, their menu prices don’t match their bill. We were a bit shocked at our bill and we still had a menu on our table, when we checked, they had added a couple pf dollars to the price on the menu. I’m pretty sure that’s not even legal but in any event it’s a bit sketch. They were just paper printed menus so it’s not like they were fancy and the prices had just gone up since they last ordered the menu.

I went on Sunday night when veterans and first responders get in free. The host and all the comedians were professionals. It was an awesome show. If you live in the area and haven't gone, you should be ashamed of yourself. Very inexpensive night of comedy.

Not a great review unfortunately. Should have checked the websire before going but still unsure if it is listed. A friend paid cash at the door. $15. I paid with a card. $20. So there must be a fee attached to using a card. And the service was so-so. Ordered a coke and got diet. It tasted off but I thought it was due to the CO2. Ordered a hot dog and never got it, no, I was not charged. And ordered a second coke, it never came. No, I wasn't charged for that either. Just dissapointed. Took longer than I think it should have to even be greeted at the table for the drink order as well. We had 8 so the gratuity was automatically added even though separate checks, but that isn't unusual so not a problem. I however did not add any which I normally would have. Only reason for 3 stars is they support local talent so I like that.

Came here to see Don McMillian. They got everyone in and seated quickly, started on time, and the environment is great. The comedy was gold and it was pleasant to be here.

Great comedy club. Intimate enough where all of the seats are pretty close to the stage. The tables are adorned with LED tea light candles which was cute and everything else was clean and well kept. They also have a bar in the back, but I didn't need it since their service was really good. They came by just in time when I needed another drink and to order food. I had 2 IPAs and nachos with chicken. Definitely get the added chicken because the portion difference makes up for the additional charge . I went alone, and as nerve racking as it was going in, I had a lot of fun! Super entertaining and the host was super funny. Oh also, parking is at the tire shop, lots of parking.

My husband and I went to Rooster T. Feathers for a date night and splurged on the premium seats--totally worth it. The view was excellent, super close to the stage without feeling too in-the-spotlight. If you're debating the upgrade, do it. The comedy lineup was fantastic. Great energy, solid pacing, and nonstop laughs. Rooster's really knows how to book talent, and the intimate setting makes the experience feel personal and engaging. The food, however, was just okay. Not terrible, just a bit limited in variety and flavor--definitely more of a snack-and-a-drink type of spot than a dinner-and-show venue. Luckily, the strong comedy makes up for the weak menu. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely go again (just maybe eat beforehand next time). Perfect spot for a low-key, high-laugh night out.

I have gone here a few times now since I am on their email list. They offer a free guest list for many shows. The drinks are pretty good. I did not like the cheesecake though and the service is super slow. It had nice ambiance, not too posh but not divey either. Will go back for the good comedy.

Came here with a small group to catch Austin Nasso/the Tech Roast Show guy on April 11. The openers were pretty funny! I'm not a big fan of their two food/drink order minimum, but I got popcorn and a virgin mangonada. I was informed that they didn't have mango flavor so I opted for a watermelon flavor instead (watermelonada?). I asked for no butter in the popcorn but they said that it comes in premade! It was pretty good, the popcorn was cold though. Show itself was entertaining, lots of political jabs at both sides and decent audience interaction. Venue has limited parking and I decided to park at the adjacent strip mall plaza that boasted a larger number of spots. Overall the vibe here is entertaining, I'm not sure if I'd come here for a random comedian/someone I wouldn't know but I definitely got the vibe that this is a well established comedy club that is doing well.

A friend of mine wanted to go to a comedy show and I was excited since this was my first time going to one. I loved the comedians that performed and it was a really good time. I didn't quite like the two item purchase minimum which includes either food or drinks so keep that in mind when booking. The staff was friendly and checked in on us a couple times throughout the show. The venue isn't super big but it did have a more casual feel which was nice.

Just attended a show here to see Matthew Broussard and we had a great time. Rahul and Aurora were also hilarious! The venue seemed newly renovated and fairly clean. It has a cozy vibe to it. They offer a few different snack options: chips and salsa, popcorn, nachos, etc. (ball park food). I had popcorn and it was pretty good, you can tell it is freshly popped because of the smell and sound. They also have a pretty good drink selection. I was DD so I went with hot tea and the waitress brought me a variety of choices. I also found a Yogi tea which was better than the others that were First Street. While the waitress was friendly, service was quite slow. My popcorn didn't arrive the first time I ordered it and when she finally came back I had to ask again. They also say you have to order 2 items online...and no phones during the show. I was scared to take it out to snap pictures of my tea and popcorn but I'm sure you get the idea. Nevertheless, I will be back! I had a great time. Such a fun local spot!

Came here to see all the locals out here compete. I voted for four and two of em were winners. Yay to that and I had a really great time. The place is super clean and the food and drinks are great.

Rooster T Feathers is cool for a low effort evening out to see up and coming or not well-known comedians. Snagged a table for two on the side. Seating is first come, first served with additional chairs in front of tables that other parties may be sitting in. If you're thinking improv and snagging food, just know it's limited. Popcorn, hotdog, nachos, a dessert, or two. They have wine, cocktails, beers, a redbull, and some canned drinks like high noon. We weren't feeling the cocktail menu items, so figured Makers on the rocks and a rum & pineapple juice should be a safe choice. We were there before it got super crowded, but there was one waitstaff running the floor, so just know you may wait a few moments. No big deal. The whiskey was off. Like not quite tasting like Makers, possibly had a lot of ice cubes that melted while waiting for the drink given the size of the pour in the snifter. Anyway, I decided to go canned/bottle drinks after due to that. Checks are brought toward the end of the last act, so if you need to get out, you may want to close out after you buy your 2 item minimum per person. We've gone twice and had a great time with the acts at one show, and the other made us think about whether we want to go again. Definitely need to plan your drinks and food outside of Roosters depending on the vibe for your evening. Oh and parking is street parking nearby. I don't think they have a lot. Don't forget your ID to get in.

I love how unassuming this comedy club is! First of all, they share a parking lot with a tire shop -- which is GENIUS because the parking lot is empty in the evening! There is also parking along and across the street. You walk in and it's a different vibe from the Sunnyvale burb! It's a one-story venue with an open-space bar and a clean bathroom. They have a variety of drinks and snacks, although let me just be honest -- I don't go to comedy clubs for the nutrition or sustenance. I'm here to laugh in a comfortable space! So my review is primarily on the vibe and physical comfort. I'm not a huge drinker so the hot teas were fine for me. I would've been fine with water, lol. The 2 order minimum is the same as SJ Improv. If you see comedians you like on their upcoming calendar, definitely give this place a try! We saw Irene Tu this month and had a blast! Bring your college ID on Thursdays or military ID on Fridays. In summary: Great venue, parking, WC, and overall experience. I also appreciated the audio level. I would come back! (I was too scared to take photos bc they have a no phone policy!)

Willie is the funniest and I can relate with him growing up and dealing with parents beat downs and hanging with the crew

Enjoyed a stand up comedy show here, it was a great experience. Staff is friendly and the food and drinks are not a bad value like you typically see at comedy clubs. There is a minimum 2 item purchase here. Parking is in the lot right next to the comedy club. That can quickly run out but you can also park in the shopping plaza across.

I attended comedy night with Chris Porter on a Sunday evening, and had a fun time. The venue was awkwardly located right next to an auto shop (in fact I think I accidentally parked at the auto shop, cuz that's where google maps led me, lol). We were seated near the front, the place was only half full, and most seats seemed to offer a decent view of the stage. The venue looked pretty modern inside, I believe it was recently updated, but the decor and lighting were pretty simple (almost non-existent). so it's hard to tell this is a comedy club. But I liked the drink menu, lots of tantalizing options. My partner and I shared a few cocktails, so I was able to try the Rooster Juice, Raspberry Lemon Drop, and Chocolate Martini. Flavorwise, all three drinks were phenomenal, and the last two were pretty strong on the alcohol. Ironically the Rooster Juice was fruity and tropical, but didn't seem heavy on the alcohol (even though the menu says it comes with "4 alcohols"). The server was friendly, but service for drinks was slow, both before and during the show. The performance we attended was great, yes tickets are a little overpriced, as you don't get the big names here and yet it costs $30 after fees. Still, Chris Porter had us laughing our asses off, even if it wasn't his best show. I enjoyed a great night of comedy with good company and a laid back atmosphere, exactly what I needed this past weekend. It's cool to have a place like this near home.

Favorite comedy club in the area. I am a comedian. I come here to do the regular open in mics. This is by far my favorite comedy club to work with. And this is why. Management and ownership cares, and it shows. All the communication is super clear upfront there so available there so open it is really unlike some of the other places that I've been exposed to. Service is really great. Everybody's really kind. Ambience is super chill. It is what a comedy club should be. Exactly like what I always ever seen on TV. I love being here, I love watching comedy here, I love doing comedy here. They offer classes as well. I heard that the instructors are really knowledgeable and know what they're talking about. Great venue. Great people. They have a great menu. Highly recommend for patrons and comedians alike.

Been going to a few comedy clubs, but this was my first time here. I came with 2 friends and we were seated close to the stage. Tip: get there early for closer seats. I like how they have it seat up inside. Not super close to people but comfortable. There's a 2 item minimum. They have a decent amount of items but I wish they had mocktail options. I don't drink anymore and didn't really want a soda or hot chocolate. I tried the spiced cider; it was more like warm apple juice with a bunch of sugar at the bottom. The comedian were hilarious. I wish I remembered their name. All the bald guys were funny but one of them had us almost in tears! We're definitely coming back

I haven't been to Rooster T Feathers in ages! It was better than I remember. I came New Year's Eve and saw Helen Hong. She is hilarious and kept the crowd going for over an hour. About the venue, it's quite small but I think that's the charm of it. Easy to see the stage and well lit. There is a two drink minimum but I was able to buy a bottle of water. I also had a hot chocolate LOL and it was one of the best ones I've had oddly enough. My friend sucked down two cocktails and said it was ok. We also had nachos and a hot dog. Nachos were ok but the hot dog was actually decent. Price point is very low for both, so overall great. Why this place is 5 stars: small so doesn't get insanely loud, good comedy, affordable food and drinks, lots of parking (you can park near Walgreens, oodles of parking), staff brought drinks out quickly despite full house,

I grew up in Sunnyvale and not sure how this comedy venue is still around. It's one of the least known venues and no big names really come here. It's in Sunnyvale so not a happening spot either. The venue has a weird smell to it, which I don't like. I can't recall if I liked the food or drinks. The venue itself isn't nice and the comedians are sub par. I don't particularly remember leaving a show thinking it was an amazing night out. I've been here a couple of times and it's in the bottom of the list for me in terms of comedy venues in the bay.

I love this place. It's such a casual experience, which is definitely my style. No lines, no waiting, no chaos. It starts within 2 minutes of the start time. It's the right comedy club for Sunnyvale. I go, I laugh, I eat popcorn, I go home. The openers were really good this most recent time I went. Their digital signage has clearly improved so they're more helpful. It's a feature of my city.

Great local comedy spot, reasonably priced and it's a fun night out with friends. Support stand-up and visit them when you get a chance.

I've been here numerous times and I've never been wowed by the casual experience. It's something fun to do occasionally but I wouldn't say the comedians are first rate nor the food or drinks. Just 'meh'. I can say definitively though, that inside is freezing cold. So bring layers.

Rooster T Feathers and San Jose Improv are direct competitors and make for a good comparison. Parking: Rooster T Feathers wins with tons of FREE parking. Venue: San Jose Improv wins with far more capacity, and the larger venue brings with it bigger names. Food: Both have a 2 item minimum, for either drinks or food, but San Jose Improv has a much broader food menu, so San Jose Improv wins. Service: With more than twice the capacity and twice the food menu, San Jose Improv has the challenge of serving so many more people so many more items that it hurts their score and Rooster T Feathers wins. Overall Scores: - San Jose Improv = 2 (Venue & Food) - Rooster T Feathers = 2 (Parking & Service) Premium features: Since San Jose Improv has more space and food options, they offer a VIP option for $100 vs the $25 ticket price on this night. Gives you closer seating and $50 budget to spend on food and drinks, plus an opportunity to meet the performer. Rooster T Feathers has no VIP option, but anyone can sit in the front row, if they dare, and if they come early enough. Since they have a smaller venue, every seat in the house is about as close as all the VIP seating at the Improv. Plus, the performers normally do a meet and greet at the exit for everyone. Bottom line, a much more intimate experience. Where to go: Personally, if you can get the performer you want at Rooster T Feathers, that would be my first choice for the more intimate experience. If you can't get the performer you want at Rooster T Feathers, San Jose Improv is an excellent venue, enjoy!

Recently discovered this gem. We like the ambiance. We will come again. It's an awesome Friday night place.

Funny show. Good environment. But I don't like request every costumer orders at least two orders.

I used to only hit the San Jose Improv but now that I've caught some shows here lately, this is now my new favorite place in the South Bay. The worse seat in the house is still really close to the stage. At such a small venue, you're more likely to have the comedians stay after to greet you after the show, which I really value because I love to get my picture taken with the performers. Support this great place!

This is a more intimate club, however there are so many opportunities for improvement. 1. Signage for the entrance for lining up - there is no signage over the door that goes into the club. This became an issue because even though we were second in line, people thought at the end of the line, so we had to repeatedly redirect towards the other door for the end of the line. Also, when the tickets say doors open at 6:15, people expect that to be true, especially if it's drizzling. 2. Seating - hire a new person to seat people. As mentioned above, we were second in line. At most comedy clubs being at the front of the line indicates that you are a fan of the feature act, and are rewarded with good seating. The show was all general admission, there was not a two tier price system for sitting closer. I was in a group of 3, and the guy sat us on the side in the last table before the elevated tables. I ask can we sit closer, and I am told no, this is our only 3 person table. Seemed odd that for us being second in line that was the only "option." And who does this guy sit front and center as more people come in, a senior citizen meet up group called salt and pepper, who were not even fans of the featured act, as the comedian called them out for not laughing, nor being his typical audience. 3. Speaker system in restroom - the speaker in the restroom is not on, so you can't hear the show if you need to visit the facilities during the show 4. Food - eat before you come. The hummus platter was a joke - stack of pita, baby carrots and cucumber circles. If you are serving cucumbers, they should be cut lengthwise because you are dipping, as no utensils were provided - impossible to eat with the hummus. How about adding some celery, or olives or cheese? For $11 it seemed rather ridiculous. The nachos looked equally sad with the round chips and liquid cheese on top with some salsa and sour cream. 5. Hecklers - make an announcement that heckling is not allowed, because the amount of people who interrupted the show was ridiculous. And then enforce the no heckling rule. One of the seniors was an asshole and should have been bounced for throwing a piece of popcorn at the comedian and sticking out her tongue for not liking his joke about the seniors not laughing or being the typical audience (your at a comedy show and when you sit in the front be prepared to be made fun of).

We saw Willie Barcena (5/26/24). The ambiance and experience was outstanding. Great place to kick it and enjoy a fun casual night especially with awesome comedians like Willie Barcena! He showed love to our veterans with class and style. Willie B was hella funny along with the comedians that performed before him. Rooster T Feathers is a small venue but has that comedian club vibe that adds to the experience. I'm going back .... Rooster T Feathers is the Spot!

Performing stand up comedy has been a part of my bucket list for quite some time. If I didn't go with a group, then I probably wouldn't have gone up at all... this is a great venue for performing stand up comedy because it's intimate enough and there is no heckling or booing allowed so it's a friendlier setting. There is a spotlight that shines bright on your face and there's a clock that you can see on while on stage to see how much time you have left. The food is not very good, but I don't come here for the food. just a really chill place to watch comedy and I'm writing this review because I sincerely hope that this venue stays in business with the pandemic. If you perform, you do get a free drink ticket and there's no cost to perform for comedians on open mic night but you have to email Heather in advance to get on the list and to see which week you'll perform.

Last night was our first time patronizing this comedy club. We came for the Joe Machi show. The opening comedian was okay, the second comedian was a miss. He seemed very ill at ease. However Joe was phenomenal and that's who we came to see! We see him frequently on television , with his appearances on the Greg Gutfeld show. His in person appearance at this club was quite a welcome treat. He performs again tonight and I would highly recommend it. Tickets are a great value at only $25/each plus a two item (food or drink) per person minimum. Of which, I found concession and drink prices were reasonable. The hot dog and popcorn were good, the nachos were not good. Service was friendly and attentive. Other staff members were friendly too. The venue looks updated and a bit classy. Tables and seating are spaced, especially generously, for a comedy club. I was amazed at the amount of space between neighboring tables. I found this particularly remarkable because this is not a big venue. It's very quaint! It was a full house and announced sold out for the seven o'clock show. I can't imagine there were more than around 125-150 people. We were seated at a table along the stage, but I think people seated towards the back would be able to enjoy the show too. We arrived about fifteen minutes before doors opened, and there were about twenty or so people already in line. Now that we have taken in a show here, we will monitor their upcoming performances for others we wish to see. Parking was plentiful and conveniently close.

My husband and I have been to A LOT of comedy clubs. In a lot A LOT of different cities and, unfortunately, this is my least favorite of the ones we've been to which is surprising because we went to a pretty bad one in Sacramento recently. Now don't get me wrong. It's not awful. It has good seating - no bad views in the house and the seating isn't jam packed elbow to elbow like some others we have seen. The drinks are priced decently and most of the staff, especially our waitress were friendly which was cool because they were short staffed and she was clearly stressed. The food left something to be desired so I recommend you eat before you go. We wanted chips and salsa and the salsa came in a teeny weeny cup to small to scoop the chips into. The pours on the wine were incredibly small and the glasses it is served in resemble goblets from the 1700's. These are little things that we could have overlooked however, it was taking a very long time to get additional drink orders taken because they were short staffed which we could understand, but, there was a woman working there who was horribly rude. I don't know her name. Dark brown almost black hair, Asian of sort and wearing tall boots and a black glittery top. She was chatting with everyone in the room, making the rounds and laughing. She was bringing people drinks and clearing peoples tables with a serving tray. One would deduce that she was a waitress based on these observations so we said, while she was walking by, "excuse me" to ask for a round of beverages. She replied by not stopping, looking at us like we interrupted her socializing, and said "Oh - I'm not a waitress. I used to be, but I'm not" and then giggled and kept walking by. Pretty much indicating to us that she was above us, above waitressing and of a higher social status than the rest of the staff. I still don't know who she was since she refused to give our money the time of day but she was not a guest and was definitely affiliated with the club. So we sat, for a good half hour without libations during a comedy show. If not for this woman, I would give the place a higher rating but we have never encountered such behavior at a club. We were planning on going back the next weekend to see Mike E Winfield but opted not to based on this interaction.

Whoa it was a long time since I've been here as COVID really put the damper on crowded rooms of people laughing out loud. But the club made it through and remains one of two dedicated comedy clubs in the South Bay area that I'm aware of. I just went last week and the highlights of the club remain the same: fast, friendly service (my friend said the drinks were still potent potables, and we were waited on three times during the show), pretty good club food and better hot drinks like cider, and not a bad seat in the house. Ticket prices are manageable and parking is easy. You have to buy tickets online now, and they don't take reservations for groups; show up early for preferred seating. As it was before, you'll see a variety of comics both local and traveling. In general the material is middle of the road, not a lot of 'unbookable' comedy where the cringe is heard from the comics in the back, but it's definitely not PG rated either; you're among adults hearing adult things being said. The show is usually an opener with 15 minutes, a feature with 20-25 minutes, and a headliner with 45 minutes. The audiences can be raucous, but it's usually a friendly crowd. There are open mic nights (which were a blast when I was doing it) and other showcase events, check the website for the calendar. Thankfully live comedy is back, and if you're looking for something to do besides a movie, alternative entertainment is a short drive down El Camino.

The shows are usually great. Service is friendly and great....UNTIL you check your credit card statement and noticed that the waiter added extra tip to the amount that was already left for him (Carlos the server). I called Rooster T to report this and no one answered, I left a message and nothing. Had to call my bank.....shady....

Had a great experience. Great comedians, especially the headliner. Food was typical bar food but the prices were good. We'll be back!

Awesome place to watch comedy stand ups & eat. Great food , great service & great ambiance! I was late by 30 minutes but still they found a table for me!

This is a bittersweet review. This is the place that my now ex-boyfriend and I went to several times whenever we're feeling for a comedy show. I'm not going to let this stop me from going there again in the future though because life is too short for that type of sh*t. The comedians that performed here were pretty funny. I love their Cheese Nachos the most! Sometimes, I get cravings for it! Haha I can't wait to go back again just for those nachos! Lol.. :) Parking is fairly easy. We always end up finding parking on the side street. The staff are friendly. The restrooms are clean. It's a great comedy club.

Always a good time at Rooster T's! This venue is small and intimate, so every seat is a good seat. Easy to find with lots of free parking. We've enjoyed lots of wonderful evenings here, with comics we were excited to see, and some we'd never heard of who turned out to be wonderful surprises. Rooster T's is a local treasure!

Pleased to see they have re-opened, not pleased to see they have a two drink minimum instead of a two item minimum. One of the best things about Rooster's wasn't having to drink for whatever reason... and while non-alcoholic drinks count, they aren't any better or worth it. Bring back the two item minimum instead of forcing alcoholic or sugary drinks at us and this place goes back to being a 5 star comedy joint

Cozy venue at the heart of Bay Area. Had a great time with my adult daughter. The host was great and so was the headliner. Lots of laughter and reasonably priced drinks. Can't wait to go back again.

Awesome place, good service, good vibe... just don't get cocktails as there might not be any booze in there. Stick to beer or shots I think. But yea overall pretty rad.

Down-to-earth comedy club where a lot of the greats started! (Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Schumer, Dana Carvey, and Kevin Pollak, etc.) You can even talk to the comedians before the show. The "green room" is an open area right next to the bar. Like I said, super down-to-earth! My kind of place. But be careful they don't learn to much about you, or you might be part of their subject matter for the evening! ;) (I'm totally kidding!) Service was awesome, including the bartender, the server, and the rest of the staff. We had never heard of the comedians before, but they were funnier than we expected. But for recommendations: Is there any possibility to have more than hot dogs, nachos, and hummus on the menu? Though I do have to say, the chicken nachos were flippin' delicious!! More wine options would be nice, too, even if you charge more. The prices are phenomenal, by the way! P.S. What am I doing by suggesting you increase the prices? ;) Strike that from the record! ;) I certainly look forward to coming back the next time I am in town!

The newly remodeled Rooster T's RE-OPENED DECEMBER 2022!! Yeah! It's been a long wait! We went to see Maureen Langan on Dec 28th, the comic who opened for her was very talented (sorry forget his name) great night, The drinks are reasonably priced (2 drink min per person). The service was very good. There is no need to schlep up to SF for great comedy!!! Love having this venue a couple of miles from home.

We bought a Groupon for a stand up routine here and overall thought it was a good time. The line up changes obviously so check the calendar. Most of these deals require a two item purchase minimum so even if you don't drink you can just get food or dessert or something. Food wasn't super tasty or anything, typical bar food. We got some nachos and some chicken and it wasn't anything to write home about. The seats we had were fine, not close to the stage but still had a good view.

Had a great time here tonight! I really appreciate the laid back vibe of this place. I feel like the Bay Area really needs more places like this... We came to see Dusty Slay and loved him and the opening acts! I actually really appreciate that they have a 2 item minimum order per guest, because it gives you permission to order drinks and food regardless of what you feel you need or should do... For example we were totally on board with ordering two glasses of wine each despite having told ourselves we wouldn't drink tonight.. I definitely recommend coming here! A great way to change up the outing. A great date place. A great place to come and just unwind.

Food and drinks option.Minimum 2 order per person restriction. *** The long read*** My roommate asked me if I wanted to go for a show for Hari Kondubolu. I saw a Netflix special of his and thought he was pretty funny so I decided to join my roommate for the show. He's a pretty big name with Netlfix special so it's amazing that Roosters got him here in the bay area. The show price was way lower that what I'd expected $20 so it was a steal to get to see him perform at such an intimate setting. Ambience: Doors open about 45mins before the show. Seats are assigned at the door based on your group size.You can come in early, be polite and smile and ask for good seats. Don't forget to leave an extra tip! On the inside the club isn't super huge. Stage is on the right of the door and all seats point towards the stage. I was at the back but still had a pretty good view of the stage. Lights out when the show starts and no texting and talking (especially after drinking. I'm looking at you Karen!) Food and drinks: I was super hungry before the show so I'd eaten. There is a 2 order minimum per person :( which put me in a spot because I was full at the same time they didn't have non much non caffeine /non soda/ non alcoholic drink options. They have pretty interesting signature cocktails with funny names, beer on tap, tea, coffee, ciders and soda (even the diet kind :P) I'll probably eat here next time but I'm not super comfortable eating during the show. Also it's lights off during the show so keep that in mind when you order. The show: Our show host Frankie Marcos, who is a local comedian, had some good punches. Another comedian from NY, Liz Miele opened up for Hari for about 10-15 mins. Hari rocked the rest of the hour to hour and a half. His jokes were new and a joke or two from his old set. It was fun to watch him perform. I've been to auditoriums for comedy shows before but I like this setting better. They announced about adding names and email to receive updates which I did and they had a raffle at the end where the winner gets 2 free tickets. After the show the comedians were outside for photo ops and selling their CDs( Hello 2012!) Great time to get that selfie for the gram! I loved the experience and would keep an eye out for their line up. Parking: There's a parking lot right besides this place. You may have to enter an earlier complex from what Google shows to park. More street parking in the front. Worst case, parking available in the shopping complex opposite to it ( You did not hear that from me)

Came here to see Francisco Ramos and he was absolutely hilarious. Only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is they have a 2 item minimum but nothing on the menu is good. I came here hungry and ready to eat and was incredibly disappointed by the selections. Please add a burger or wings or even fries to the menu anything but popcorn and hotdogs and I will come again.

Great venue to go for some stand up comedy. There is a 2 item minimum on drinks and food during the show, service was very polite. I would recommend.
