I never was a fan of fruit smoothies until I Tried a Sunset lover at Root and Vine! The service was spectacular I was treated and catered too with lots of love and respect and spent under $20 for a tasty smoothie and hand made treats! 10/10 recommended for those who suffer from fruit allergies I had Two smoothies back to back and had no allergic reactions!!!! My smoothie tenders for the day were Amanda and Stephanie and they very informative about how and what my smoothie was made of❤️ Definitely coming back!! I love Root and Vine❤️❤️

Got the 1 day cleanse and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I was super stoked. The Juice here is super fresh and really potent. I highly enjoyed it. Got me lifted forsure. 😉

I’m on a significant health journey and have come to realize food is actually medicine. Frankly, I don’t order, I just tell the owners what I am feeling and they say “cool, we got you!” And, magically drinks and little shots of things appear. Some are green and some are orange. I love those most. I do get red ones, too! Not my favorite, but definitely work and help the most! You need to go in and ask for what will help you feel your best! I know for sure their devotion to well being is of upmost importance. Tell them Leah sent you! Go! Now!

If you have yet to visit Root & Vine Juice bar you are missing out!! Their specialty shakes and cleanses are top notch and every cup/bottle is made with love! Owners Amanda and Stephanie are always working hard to give the people what they want! They are selfless and always willing to go the extra mile to produce the best product on the market. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. My Blueberry protein Bowl was half filled and tasted watery there was no chia seeds, no yogurt, no honey when I went in to scoop it was just dripping no thick consistency.

They didn't have any wheet grass . 🖤 You would know about root and vine if you were truly a balli perez from texas.

Come here after working out next door. Great variety of smoothies. They also have homemade granola that I'd love to try. It never seems busy, which is surprising, because their drinks are delicious and fresh.

Outrageously overpriced food and drink. It takes a lot of neck to charge &15+ for a basic smoothie. Once bitten is enough for me. I would not recommend this business!

Was needing something to eat after my Pure Barre class and decided this was the best option! I decided to get the Maca Madness smoothie. It was delicious! Will definitely be back again. Their coffee menu looks great too!

They are ALWAYS out of ingredients for stuff on their menu yet they never update their menu online on in person to account for this. 4 times in a row haven't been able to get what I wanted, won't be going back

As always, such a great experience at what should be considered a Bronxville staple. It's the only truly healthy place you can get something in this small town. Gluten Free, Paleo, No sugar.. Ps the way humans should eat lol! Yesterday I had a snickerdoodle cookie, a brownie and the Sublime cold pressed juice. All were excellent. Prices are good, staff was friendly and most importantly they use great ingredients. I've had their bowls in the past which I loved. They're not loaded with sugar or crappy fruit. It's real Whole Foods. Thanks Root & Vine. Keep up the great work and start to add more options so we can come more often!

When I'm in the mood to treat myself to something healthy and delicious I stop by Root & Vine. I've only been here twice, both times great service. First time I ordered Golden Milk - turmeric, ginger, honey and coconut milk - along with a snickerdoodle cookie. So good! Today was the Beetles smoothie - beets, celery, banana, banana and OJ. If you're a fan of beets and celery, this is for you because the two veggies really come out in this smoothie. Delicious!

Great juice bar in Bronxville! Friendly staff and the most incredible (and homogenized!) Matcha latte. I'm not claiming to be an expert, but I've tried dozens of iterations of Matcha lattes and have found them all to be gritty, earthy, and hard to swallow (literally and figuratively.) They are considered to be a healthful elizxir of sorts and are pricey and I generally drink them to experience any benefits they offer, and even drink the girtty ones because I'm not going to spend $5 plus and waste a drink. But! It's a huge win when it actually tastes great. It's sweetened with maple syrup and as strange as that may sound, the flavor combo really works. I have also purchased their fresh celery juice (as good as celery juice can be) and a ginger, garlic, cayenne shot that was much tastier than I'd anticipated. Their baked goods are also great. I've tried the paleo chocolate cake, the vegan banana bread, and the paleo brownie. Big thimbs up to Root and Vine!

Was in the area and wanted a healthy snack and found this place via Yelp! I had the gainz smoothie and paleo brownie. Both items were delicious and my 2 year old nephew agreed! The young lady who took our order was polite and friendly. My family and I had a great experience and if ever in the area again, would definitely pass by to try some more items.

There are a couple of places in Bronxville to grab a smoothie, and even a coffee, but if you're into health and want to support more local, Root & Vine is the place! I'm vegan, but they are mainly vegetarian and paleo but have a good amount of vegan options for drinks and smoothie bowls and you can a vegan and gluten free banana bread. I was served quickly and kindly which is always appreciated. I decided in the Holy Matcha smoothie which has banana, mango, spinach, matcha, and coconut water. I mainly got it to get myself up a bit and be more hydrated with the coconut water. It was tasty and I was able to taste every bit of what was in it. I definitely want to try the banana bread next time I go in!

I like this place. Have been here about three times and have had an açaí bowl, and a couple smoothies. It's in a location that's easy to get to and parking isn't a pain. What IS a pain is that every time I go there their juice machine is down. Bro. Juice is literally in your name. Sure there's a cold pressed option but I don't WANT THAT. It's low key irritating because smoothies are great but sometimes you just want a juice. They redeem themselves with deliciousness.

I tried to give this place another chance today & I was extremely disappointed yet again. If it were not for the smoothie being decent I would've given them 0-1 stars. The acai bowls have become consistently terrible. Its always a bowl of acai soup (extremely watery) with the fruits mashed together in the middle, not even set nicely & the taste is below avg. If you're looking for a smoothie fine but definitely STAY AWAY FROM ORDERING A BOWL!

For the last two years, I have become an açai bowl connoisseur. Wherever I go, I search for the best Açai bowl near me. Today, I had the pleasure of consuming one of the best bowls I have ever had. From taste, to quality of ingredients, to the presentation, this was an exceptional bowl. A family run store that is worth the time to try. Not only excellent products but friendly & accommodating service.

They've made some changes to their Acai bowls which i like. Would recommend the Elvis bowl. Service is okay.

WOW!!! I was visiting friends in Bronxville and they recommended Root & Vine Juice Bar since I love acai, and I was SO IMPRESSED!!! This was definitely one of the best acai bowls I have ever had. Why? 1) It was HUGE. I am always one to finish my acai bowls, but I had to bring this home and freeze it for later because it was so filling. 2) The base was SO THICK. It might be the thickest acai base I have ever had!!! I hate watery acai more than anything, and this was far from watery!!! The acai was also very flavorful and not too sweet. 3) I got the Velvis, which has acai, almond milk, strawberry, and banana in the base and is topped with banana, peanut butter, and granola. It was so simple, but this is one of my favorite combinations. They topped the acai with so much peanut butter which I love. The peanut butter was very creamy as well. 4) It was so affordable!!! This ginormous bowl was only $10. Very impressive - in Chicago, a slightly smaller bowl would be at least $13. And this bowl was better!! 5) The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations! The interior of the cafe is quite small with 2 bars, can probably seat 6-8 people comfortably, but I'm guessing lots of people get their bowls to-go. 6) My mom got the nutty chia bowl and loved it! She also thought it was very filling. I couldn't try it because it has yogurt in it (I don't eat dairy) but I'm sure it was also great. If you're ever in Bronxville... GIVE ROOT & VINE JUICE BAR A TRY!! You definitely won't regret it! Their acai is spectacular!!

Stick with the smoothies. Paid almost $5 for a 12oz cold brew that was mostly ice. Not worth it.

Wish I could give it more stars! My first time here was amazing. I got the nutty chia bowl and everything about it was perfect. I've also tried the fresh juices that were delicious as well. But this morning I texted in an order for the nutty chia bowl again and it left much to be desired. The acai consistency was very gooey and unpleasant in the mouth. I wasn't able to eat more than a quarter of it. In my opinion, the acai itself didn't taste fresh. Not sure what happened here but it was not an enjoyable bowl.

I was in the mood for a smoothie & an açaí bowl . I work around the BRONXVILLE area so I decided to give this place a try . Just to start off , the face of the worker as I was ordering was very intimidating. She was very rude and her tone of voice was discriminating . I got the Elvis açaí bowl without the bacon granola topping so I went with the cinnamon granola. It tasted very stale and old as if it was kept uncovered for a while . I paid 12 dollars for this and it wasn't even made the way I asked for . Never coming back to this place again and I don't recommend it at all for anyone reading this review .

Makes eating healthy a great choice! The avocado toast with the water crescents is fantastic and good portioned sized. The menu has wide variety! Very affordable. I cannot forgot the excellent customer service. Amanda is very knowledgeable about the smoothies and baked goods! She's also very friendly and courteous from the hello when you enter the shop to the final sale! 10/10 recommend.

Best açaí bowls in Westchester. Also, there fresh pressed juices are incredible. I eat here regularly and the staff is so friendly. They know my usual order when I call. When I go to pick it up it's waiting for me in the cold fridge. My two go to items are the Elvis bowl & the Emergen C juice. If you are in the Bronxville area this is a must try!

It's not bad. The elvis bowl liked it best, and Almond brownie bowl couldn't even eat half. But you can find something to suit your taste.

Very nice staff. Free item after a few purchases is a great incentive for repeat customers. So far I've tried a cold-pressed juice (I LOVE the "Don't Sweat It"), a bowl, and a smoothie. All good. Prices make sense for the bowls since they're huge. Wish the juices and smoothies were just a couple bucks cheaper - I'd go pretty often if they were. Can you guys add a true acai bowl to your menu? I bet it would be a "best seller."!! I really appreciate this addition to the neighborhood. Love having the option to get a quick, tasty and healthy snack or meal before or after work, and after a workout.

Second time my favorite drink was messed up! No consistency in their products. Nutella latte tasted like hot water such a disappointment!!

Very, veryyy good smoothies and snacks, and I absolutely LOOOVE the staff. But I had to dock one star because I really, really hate the fact that they're still using plastic cups and straws!!!! I'd pay extra for compostables.

So my New Year's resolution was to start eating healthier and thank you for Root and Vine! I had heard and read awesome reviews about this little Bronxville gem, and boy were they right! I was helped by a young woman named Amanda, and she was so helpful and friendly while she guided me through their very yummy menu. She was patient with me and answered all my questions (I haven't really done the good for you eating before). She introduced me to my new favorite, wheatgrass shots, and I left Root and Vine feeling amazing. Thanks to Amanda, a true gem, and the yummy granola bricks, I feel like I can successfully keep my resolution!!! Kudos

Root and Vines is a family-owned all organic/natural "cleanse and juice bar" in the fancy, chic, and classy town of Bronxville, NY. It's located at 4 Cedar Street (between Pondfield Road and Kraft Ave., behind the CVS). They have all kinds of healthy food: juices, smoothies, veggie and salad bowls, and baked goods (paleo and gluten free, of course!). Of course, it's also possible to just order a cup of coffee or espresso. Even better, they carry matcha tea, which goes great with the gluten free baked goods or any bowl from the menu. Speaking of Matcha (as my regular readers know, I love it for the mental focus I get from it), it's a caffeine alternative without the jitters. I regularly come to Root and Vines for the PERFECT MATCHA BOWL (it comes with Matcha, mama root, spinach, banana, pineapple, coconut, almond butter, dates, almond milk, and chia -- topped with raspberries, mango, almonds, and shredded coconuts. (In short: ANTIOXIDANTS that will energize your mind.) Everything they sell contains no artificial sugar. (Instead, they use maple syrup or honey.) It's a small juice bar/café but you can sit and read or log in with their free wi-fi. Another cool thing I like is their Rewards System: all you have to do is enter your phone number when you make a purchase (of $5 or more) and you receive a star. Once you get 10 stars, you are legible to get a FREE juice, smoothie, or healthy snack bar. (There's no need to carry one of those annoying punch cards around. (I always lose cards like that anyway!) Visiting from Scottsdale and I was absolutely thrilled when I saw a girl walking by me with a green smoothie. I asked her where it was from and she directed me here. Nutty açaí bowl and cold pressed green juice was just what I needed. Love there hand drawn chalk board and awesome name.

Juices are always fresh, smoothies are thick and full of flavor. But this is more than just a juice bar. The desserts are to die for because everything is made in-house, so they are always fresh and sometimes even warm!! Their cinnamon granola is my favorite considering they even sell 10oz bags of them! The banana bread is my go-to, as well as their delicious chocolate chip cookies and almond butter brownies. The bowls are a great size and love the option of a "split bowl". Being picky, the "make your own" bowl, smoothie or juice gives me the option of enjoying everything up to my full potential every single time. They even serve breakfast toasts. The workers are very kind, offering their full service at your convenience. Store is clean always smells wonderful due to the baking going on in the back. I'd highly recommend the Root& Vine if you are trying to get healthy, starting a new diet, love fruit, or is simply wanting to try something new!

The gym I go to stocks Root & Vine's chocolate chip cookies and almond butter brownies which have become my daily pre-workout treats because they're so good. The Cold Brewski smoothie is also dank, love cold brew coffee with their healthy additions instead of the sugar and cream you'd find at most coffee shops. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other creative smoothies, bowls, and juices.

I normally don't write reviews, but I just have to thank you for being a juice bar that actually sells what they preach, organic and 100% process free goods. I have fallen head over heels in love with your blueberry muffin that is an explosion of flavor, and very lite and airy to the palate. Your smoothies are also great, I'm a big fan of "You HAD Me at Aloe" that contains kale, spinach, dates, beets, ginger, aloe vera, and apple juice:-). Thank you for helping me keep my New Year's goal without feeling depraved.

I seek out food with wholesome, nutritious ingredients, and I can always count on Root & Vine to delivery. Great spot if you are looking for a healthy feel good snack. The owners are well educated on paleo and vegan products. The cold pressed juices and shots are all made in house . The workers are super friendly and greet you with a smile . The kombucha on tap is one of the best I've ever had, what a bubbly delight.

Every time I have entered this store I always had an amazing service... I travel 45 minutes out of my way to come taste these amazing bowls, smoothies, and whatever else the girls come up with... I usually don't travel far but when it comes to Root & Vine, I will always travel. Keep up the good work girls!

This is not your ordinary juice and espresso bar. The owner, Amanda, makes everything herself. Her sweets are top notch, not too sweet. She uses expensive, quality ingredients like maple syrup instead of sugar. Her coffee is organic, a true Italian roast. Her granola is easily the best I've ever tasted. She manages to keep the oats light and softer than other granolas that are hard and dry. And top all that off- her prices are significantly lower than similar places. You'll be amazed at the large pumpkin bread for just $3.50!

I was walking in the village this morning, came across this place. I went in to check it out, I was greeted by a friendly girl ( Amanda ) she was so helpful, gave me tips , a menu and explained how the shots work.. I got the Elvis which was awesome!! I will be back for more .. Nelle S.

This place is fantastic. Worth the price. Everything is delicious. I might even move up to Bronxville land just to go here. This place makes healthy living taste so good that it has inspired me to take up yoga and quit my drinking habit

I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for my food. I ordered the pumpkin blend coffee with a combo of turmeric, ginger, pumpkin purée and coconut milk, it was very good. I also had an açaí bowl which was also good. My biggest issue with this place is the wait. Its one person who is doing everything: the register, the coffee, and making the food. I would not recommend coming here on your lunch break because you won't make it back to work in time.

Best new spot in Bronxville. Cold press', fresh juices, smoothies, bowls and sweet treats that don't make you feel too guilty. Great for a pre/post workout, hangover cure or just for a feel good treat. My favorites are the 'açaí what you did there' smoothie and the 'Nutella dreams' guilty pleasures. Staff is awesome and friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything is made fresh, fresh! This is a must try spot...you will go back!

This type of spot in Bronxville is LONG awaited and I am surprised it took this long for a juice/bowl bar to open! The grab and go juices are pretty good and some of the parfait's and granola are really good, particularly the coffee protein granola, but I think their menu needs some work. I also wish it was strictly vegan, like Skinny Buddha in Scarsdale, which has a great menu but lacks the cold pressed juices. One last thing is the service. The girls working there are all pretty young and honestly seem pretty lost most of the time. While very sweet, they don't know (off hand) what the ingredients are in a grab and go item (perhaps it should be listed for customers) and if you ask what they think about something, they will often say they haven't had it. Shouldn't they be required to taste everything so they can speak to it personally? Plus, if you buy a bunch of juices, you need to ask them for a bag...like, shouldn't that be automatic? I just bought 4 juices and a parfait and have two hands, yes I need a bag. All in all, it's a pretty good spot and since it's Bronxville, I think they'll be OK, unless a better spot opens. We'll see!

As a fresh juice connoisseur, I have been to many juice places from mom and pop stores to franchises and this place is number one no doubt about it. Starting with the lay out. You walk in and boom the counter is right there with one of their many nice and respectful employees ready to assist for that quick in and out experience. Or if you are in no rush and want to hang out they have seating where you can grab a fresh juice and fresh made bar or bowl (my personal fav is the Nutella granola bar which is made in house ) and relax to the perfect vibe that is set by the perfect volume of the music. The place smells amazing and is extremely clean. The owners are all very friendly and will teach you everything you need to no about the juices and the benefits. The pricing is great compared to all the other juice bars I been to. Also DO NOT FORGET TO TRY THE KAMBUCA. They change flavors every month. As someone with a stomach issue the kambuca is a huge plus.
