Root44 Market

Root44 Market was surprisingly good — especially considering there were more halal vendors than expected, which was a pleasant bonus. The food options were solid, the coffee was excellent, and the summer coolers were refreshing. Overall, great vibes, a relaxed atmosphere, and definitely a spot worth visiting again. Lekker all round.

Lovely market, even great on a rainy day. Unfortunately we didn't have a lot of time, but there are lots of interesting stalls and a plethora of food options. There's a children's indoor playground (for a fee) and lots of outdoor space to meander around on. Will return!

What a marvellous place to be. A tranquil and attractive environment. I was particularly impressed by the world class gallery upstairs as you come into the main entrance. Look out for the works of Bousie and Shuvanni, Phillip Britz and others. a marvellous experience indeed.

Cute place to go if you're looking for a place to hang outside of Stellenbosch. Not sure if the art gallery/display is still there but when I was there it was great to grab a (rather pricy) drink downstairs and peruse all the art. Meals are decent depending on what you get, but it's worth it followed by a walk on the lawns.

We went to celebrate my mom’s birthday at Root44, and what an amazing experience it was🎉✨. The atmosphere was so lively and welcoming with so many great food stalls, live music and unique little shops to explore. 🥂🍴 My mom had the best time and it turned into such a special day for all of us. Definitely a place worth visiting for a weekend outing or a celebration🌿🎶

Root 44 is such a vibe. We checked out their midweek pizza and wine specials and have ZERO regrets. The delectable thing based pizzas are simple but delicious and go down well as you take in the views and enjoy your company (and ofcourse the wine). Perfect for an easy date night, catch up with the girls or a casual year end team function.

Its an amazing atmosphere, lots and lots of different food and sitting inside and out, there green grass space if you feel like sitting outside picnic style, bring your blanket, after all it's amazing
