I loved everything about this place. I also stayed at the Labadi Beach Resort, and I would rank this place higher. The hotel is situated off of Oxford Street, making it close to walk to the ShopRite and other restaurants. I did not hear any noise when I was in my room. The room was spacious. I was in the family suite, and it had a full kitchen, dining room, living room and a queen bed. My friend's room was attached to my room. The water to the bath was very hot as long as you remember to turn on the switch. The staff were always very helpful. From the staff that picked us up from the airport, the front desk (Samuel), the security and the restaurant staff. In regard to the food, the food was beyond delicious. My favorite were the potatoes. I didn't get a chance to try the surrounding restaurants in the area as my needs were met at The Roots Hotel Apt. Samuel and Albert treated us like VIPS, except for that one night (you know who was there). Joking. There is a Sky Lounge, and we enjoyed hanging and socializing on the rooftop daily. The views are spectacular. The people are very friendly in Osu. And one night, I went out alone to The Kona Lodge. I felt safe in this area. The only recommendations are a larger fridge, more cups and dishes and an iron and ironing board. I hope that the pool is available the next time I come. I definitely enjoyed my stay here and it felt like, my home, away from home. I plan to visit again.
