Roppongi Hills

I visited here last Christmas, and it was a wonderful experience. The light decorations were beautiful and really set the holiday mood. Despite the large crowds, I enjoyed walking around and taking everything in. There’s also a shopping center nearby if you're interested in doing some shopping. Overall, it was a fun and festive experience!

We visited during the holiday season and were greeted by a vibrant Christmas market offering a variety of delicious food and festive treats. The highlight, though, was the Christmas lights along the avenue—a stunning display that added a magical touch to the entire area. The combination of twinkling lights, festive music, and the joyful atmosphere made it a perfect outing. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to soak up the holiday spirit. Good fun, beautiful, and definitely worth a visit during the Christmas season!

Ropoggi Hills is a bustling area with many people and heavy foot traffic. During our visit, it was quite crowded, especially with many waiting at the lights. While the location is convenient and accessible, the busyness can detract from the overall experience. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, consider visiting during off-peak times.

Roppongi Hills is a fantastic spot, especially during the festive season with its stunning Christmas decorations! The trees lining the road are adorned with twinkling fairy lights, creating a magical and breathtaking atmosphere. In addition to the beautiful lights, there are several shopping malls and cozy cafes in the area, perfect for indulging in a coffee or dessert. If you’re visiting during Christmas or New Year, expect it to get quite crowded after 5 PM when the lights are turned on. Arriving earlier is highly recommended for capturing some great photos before the crowd builds up. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to visit and soak in the festive vibes!

This unique and iconic location draws tourists from around the world. It’s particularly enchanting at night when the trees lining the road up to the hill are beautifully adorned with lights. Many visitors even pause at the pedestrian crossings to capture the perfect shot with the illuminated tower in the background. The area is also home to high-end luxury stores and upscale restaurants, adding to its allure. Just a 20-minute stroll from the nearest train station, it’s a destination well worth exploring.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt inside of Rappongi Hills and really enjoyed our time there. The mall was was very large and clean and the outdoor space was a lot of fun to explore. They had some art outside and throughout the mall that was entertaining to look at. Unfortunately we missed some of the outdoor entertainment, so we will have to come back!

Great place for a walk around. Lots of unique architecture and buildings with creative designs. Excellent place for shopping and leisure activities for the families and friends.

A high-end mall with an observation deck accessible with a ticket purchase. The observation deck is known for the scene from Your Name. You get an awesome overview of the city and Roppongi from this deck.
