Simply stunning views from Roque de los Muchachos are your reward for the long and windy road up to the small car park at the top! Go early to guarantee a parking space. There are a choice of hikes from here and the views will take your breath away! A must visit if you are staying in La Palma.

That’s an amazing viewing point, highest point of La Palma and scientific center for astronomy. We had a stargazing event during the night which is worth doing. Attention: if you fancy to visit the observatories you have to book a dedicated tour.

Great view, amazing options for hike (easy one and also harder one). Two friendly crows. Not crowded, road to this place is beautiful. This is a must stop when you visit if you come to La Palma. 10/10 would come again

The road up to the top alone is worth the trip. Each turn takes you up higher fast. We stopped at the visitors centre which was very informative. We went on to the very top and the view was magnificent!!!

A must see when on La Palma and one of the only places where you can literally drive up to and park. Parking might get crowded later in the day. But there are also some spots without blocking traffic further down and then hike up to. This is but the first spot to go to there are 2 other viewpoints further down that you need to hike to to fully appreciate the magic/might of caldera de taburiente. I will always return.

Must see and enjoy the views. The museum is also very informative. A bit windy 🌬️ so literally jacket and good walking shoes. **would be nice to have some picnic tables to eat.

Stunning, majestic, transcendent, breathtaking... an absolute must-visit of La Palma. This magical place above the clouds will reward you with a once in a lifetime experience. From here you can see the entire volcano caldera, three of the other islands in the horizon and a stunning depth of space in any direction that will leave you speechless. Ridiculously easy to access by car, with a small parking lot from which you can take a short path towards the best views, passing by impressive rock formations. If you’re in luck, a small group of friendly local ravens will let you take a picture with them in exchange for a small treat. Together with a view of the astronomical observatories nearby, this is one place you will be remembering often as one of the highlights of your travels.

The Peak of La Palma! You don't know where to look first... the huge crater of Taburiente, the observatories or the plain of Los Llanos. The parking situation at the top is usually difficult, but you can also walk the last few meters. From the Platform you can also see Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro on good (clear) days. All in all, a magical place where I can personally spend hours without getting bored.
