5 Best Day Trips from Mexico City | Condé Nast Traveler

"Rosa Mexicano is relaxed and peaceful but not too informal. You'll be caught off-guard by the rooftop with views overlooking the city. The tourist-heavy crowd is mostly couples, though there are some families scattered about. Come here for high-quality Mexican food with international options and plenty of flair." - Susannah Rigg

Very nice place where they serve very traditional Mexican food specifically for this region. The view from here is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. The service is great and the staff is kind. There food is great, there drinks are well prepared! Comes highly recommended!

Beautiful view from rooftop terrace. Creative takes on traditional Mexican dishes. We had the pink mole, black mole, the breaded fish’s fillet with mango sauce, the tortilla soup, and different varieties of enchiladas. All were good.

The restaurant offers a great view of the city, which is definitely a big plus and worth a high rating. The location is excellent, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The presence of a children’s playground is another nice feature. However, the food is more of a 4 out of 5, and the drinks, including coffee, could be improved in taste. Overall, it’s worth visiting for the view, good service, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Best lunch view in Taxco. We found this a better option than Angelin. Hidden gem great for romantic dates.

Great restaurant with amazing view. Service was good they allow dogs, and they responded back quick. It was my first time with Rosa Mole it was good, but I think next time I'll try the traditional. Definitely would go back.

Very good Mexican restaurant. Located at the heart of taxco it offers a beautiful view of the town as well as good food I personally recommend the Mole Rosado. It was delicious Prices are correct and the place is super romantic. Actually it's a hotel Service is very good and you can drink good mezcal cocktails

The music, location/views were excellent. Service was a bit slow despite the place being almost empty. Food wise, I would not be coming back. I had the harrachera beef which was covered with a tasteless red chile sauce which really didn't enhance the beef or steamed baby potatoes and green onions. It would have been better to grill the potatoes and green onions than just steaming them and drowning them in the tasteless red chile sauce. The guacamole lacked flavor as well. The meat was cooked to perfection and the tortillas and salsa were very good. I would say the tortillas, salsa and beef saved the meal. The small sope was kind of dry and tough. I skipped the beans so no comments there.

If you're looking for a restaurant that offers unique and delicious Mexican cuisine, Rosa Amaranto is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is especially famous for its pink mole dish, which is a must-try for anyone who loves flavorful and authentic Mexican food. During our visit, we also tried the Carne Taxquena, which was a delicious combination of beef, tamale, nopal, cheese, and chorizo. The flavors blended together perfectly, creating a truly memorable dish. To wash everything down, we indulged in a few mango margaritas, which were absolutely delicious. They were the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and they complemented the food perfectly. Finally, I ended my meal with a slice of cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet ending to my meal. It was creamy and flavorful, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Rosa Amaranto. The views from the rooftop dining area are beautiful. It is a great way to take in the city while enjoying a great meal. The food was delicious, the drinks were refreshing, and the service was excellent. If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant, be sure to give Rosa Amaranto a try.
