This place looks and indeed was once the typical *Kölsch-Kneipe,* which it is still transformed to on football evenings. Brüsseler got its patronage from the place that’s been there before, but you wouldn’t guess it: the football equipment is hidden behind lovely new interiors. The imposing, church-like windows decorate the room (and hide the TV’s when there’s no champions league and stuff), while the rest stays 'urig' (a german word that would be a combination of rustic and cozy) and still welcoming with a lot of wooden materials and dimmed light from beautifully picked designer-like lamps. Apart from Kölsch you could also order a recommendation of Brüsselers Gin variations in the late evening or try one of their fresh, homemade salads with your next chicken – they serve them in cute glasses.
