Right in the middle of the San Marco district, and a close walk to most of the “must sees” there. This hotel is just really nice. The staff were all super helpful and kind. I stayed in the Annex, and it was secure and quiet. The shower is amazing! The bed was comfy, and temperature was perfect. I sincerely appreciated my time there.

It's in the middle of everywhere very convenient. The hotel seemed to have been renovated recently, very nice, modern, and comfortable. Quiet room, no next door noise could be heard. Generously provide bottled water and juice, yogurt, and tea bags. But only paper cups were provided. This was a bit inconvenient. Hotel front desk reacted efficiently for our request like transportation arrangement to and from train station and airport.

We had an amazing time at the Rosa Salva hotel. The location is fantastic. Even though you are a few minute walk to the Plaza San Marco the street itself is quiet and not congested. Right next to the hotel is the Rosa Salva bakery: try the tramezzini, they are fantastic as are so many things. The rooms were clean, large and modern with ample space. They give you water, small snacks and drinks and coffee in the room that they replenish every day. And finally the service was outstanding. Antonio at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. We accidentally left a bag at the hotel, had already gone to the ferry, and he spotted it and had someone from the hotel meet us at the ferry stop to avoid us having to race back and possibly miss our train. My entire family would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A wonderful boutique hotel close to San Marcos square. The staff at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. They gave us restaurant recommendations and were generally helpful with all our questions (they speak English). The rooms were a little small but reasonable. The A/C worked great in our room and the bathrooms were modern - a welcome upgrade from the European bathrooms of the 1990s.

We stayed in one of the apartments at this hotel which was a perfect option for us. As many have said here the staff were fantastic from the welcome on our first day to helping us with any request we had in a very quick and friendly way. They all work hard and do an excellent job. The apartment (one bedroom) was very spacious and well equipped. We were short of a couple of things (e.g. sharp knife for the kitchen, but this was sorted out instantly). It looked like the room was recently refurbished. It was very clean, modern and well equipped. The hotel itself is in a great, central position giving easy access to the main sites like Saint Mark's, but also very easy walking access to most Venice districts and attractions. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but the coffee shop is to die for. It is very popular with locals and tourists, but there is a dedicated seating area for hotel guests, and you also get a small discount.

Noisy and crowded area (although convenient to most things). The rooms are tiny and the beds are literally cots - not twin size beds, more like crib beds. Our room wasn’t very clean and overall we did not enjoy our brief stay. Front desk staff very helpful though!

We had the pleasure of staying one night at the Rosa Salva hotel. This quaint, boutique hotel, centrally located within Venice provided us with expectational service. They have comfortable clean rooms with complementary beverages, fridge, safe and free wi-fi. The staff were super friendly and provided us with a city map (highlighting attractions), helped us arrange our transfer from the port of Trieste, confirmed our pick-up to the airport via water taxi and even provided us with a wake up call in the wee hours of the morning. Our only regret is that we wish we could have stayed longer than one night. We would highly recommend the Rosa Salva Hotel. Thanks, everyone!

Google
The hotel was nice, if you need accessible access make sure you ask as the elevator doesn't reach all floors there are a few stairs in some places. Room was amazing so was the bathroom very modern and up to date. Service was great and had a waiting area downstairs in case your room wasn't ready or want to hang out to wait for others. Walking distance from almost anywhere, would definitely stay again.

Yelp
Wonderful experience at this hotel in Venice! All staff were accommodating and took your luggage to your room for you. They were nice enough to point us in the direction of major travel destinations and transit sites. The room was beautiful, quiet, and clean when we entered. We also left quite a mess when we left our room to walk around the city and when we came back to our room it was all organized and cleaned. Great service from all the staff from introduction to the end of our trip.

Yelp
One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in at a hotel! So nice, we might remodel a few rooms in my house to match the color scheme. Great service! Clean! Smells nice! Umbrellas available to use while out exploring Venice in the rain. Hotel in right next to/above the matching Rosa Salva cafe. Delicious! Thanks for the memorable time.

Yelp
Rosa Salva Hotel Annex Apartment Warning --DO NOT reserve the annex apartment. It was a horrible room an undesirable location. The Annex Apartment 1. 3 full flights of stair to enter the unit. 2. The floors are significantly sloped/uneven 3. The apartment smells funky 4. The bed is very low to the ground and uncomfortable 5. The decor is nothing like the hotel and very misleading 6. The hotel does not provide any services to the room. 7. Although there is a washing machine there is no dryer 8. In the flooding area 9. Unapologetic about the known issues with the unit. Worst misleading experience. When I asked the hotel to assist with a room change (which they had available) the process was extremely difficult and punitive as the overcharged me.

Yelp
Loved our stay here a Rosa Salva hotel. Great location near the square, all the shops and great places to eat. The hotel is very upscale with lovely decor. The staff was very helpful and spoke great English. After a long day of travel this place has a comfy bed and wonderful rain shower in the bathroom. This place was great for the value which I booked on expedia.com. I highly recommend staying at this posh hotel in Venice.

Yelp
Great location, within walking distance of both Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. It's also close to 2 great gelato shops. The hotel itself is small but updated with modern decor and comfort. The room still felt very spacious with a comfortable king bed and nice bathroom. Reception is very courteous and will go out of their way to assist you. The breakfast is delicious and there is a very pleasant woman who will make any coffee drink you'd like - espresso, cappuccino, etc. Strongly recommend this hotel as it is in the heart of Venice!

Yelp
Great hotel. Very modern, very clean and good breakfast. It's close to the San Marco Basilica, and St. Marks Square. The room was really nice and modern, but was smaller than we used to. However, it was big enough and we didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway.

Yelp
Even More Wonderful...the Second Time Around My sister surprised me with the notion of spending Christmas in Venice. First thought: Having had a wonderful experience with Rosa Salva in Sept 2018, I immediately contacted the hotel and received a cordial, welcoming reply. Nice to know they remembered me. Availability confirmed and we booked five nights. Had the same, spacious, clean and comfortable room (304) and booked sis and husband in 305. In the heart of the holiday season our per night rate - including the much-complimented breakfast - was 97 euros. Truly, ultimate value! We arrived after spending several nights in Munich, deciding to take the train down via Brenner Pass. Fantastic rail ride through the Alps. As in Sept '18 my wife and I were greeted more as friends than guests...on this occasion by Manager on Duty Marta. (BTW Marta earned the 'superstar' rating for a variety of reasons...one the emergency/contingency variety.) It was great to see the same support staff (says volumes about hotel management) porters Harish and Arun. No request was beyond their capabilities. Over the next day or so we reunited with the rest of the team - Antonio, Simone, Francesco, Julio, and as before they could not have been more pleasant and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The only thing that we had in 2019 and not in 2018 was..water...water...everywhere. Yes, the tidal gods frowned upon us a couple of the mornings, but Rosa Salva provided daily updates as to when and where we should have the boot coverings over footwear. I must reinforce sentiments expressed in my review of 2018 - Hotel Rosa Salva is the most convenient, friendliest, cleanest, comfortable and value-infused lodging destination in Venice. You can spend thousand$ more at places such as Gritti, Bauer, Danieli et al, but I guarantee you could not out-do Rosa Salva for its "accommodating specialness." Biased? You bet...but bias based on yet another peerless performance by the staff at Rosa Salva. Bravo, All!
