Rose & Crown Hotel

We love it there!!! One of our favourite places to go. We had a really lovely dinner there and the party went on till 11:30 pm. 😁 Only thing I would say is that waiters can be more friendly with a smile and security can do better in terms of communicating hours of the pub and be more respectful towards the guests. Thank you team!

We always enjoy coming here for a meal - my Aunt, Uncle, Mother and I came here Saturday for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Then my Uncle had a bit of a medical turn due to his diabetes and we had to get help for him. The support, professionalism and comfort Stephanie provided to us was brilliant. I can’t thank you and the rest of the staff for the help and service you provided to us. He’s well again and we will be back very soon I’m sure. Thank you.

Every dish was beautifully cooked and presented and tasted sublime. Service was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was excellent. Never been disappointed whether we have been for lunch or dinner. This latest evening was no different.

Had a brilliant lunch! The fish and chips were a huge hit, with everyone at our table raving about the fish. The pork Sunday roast was delicious and plentiful, living up to all our expectations. Service was great all round, especially from Shen. The atmosphere is always wonderful here. Loved it!

We had a beautiful lunch with family. The meals were delicious and everyone enjoyed it. The service was also excellent. Disappointed that the fireplaces were not lit. It would have been lovely to have the warmth and ambience of the fire as the room was quite cold but overall a really enjoyable afternoon

Lovely restaurant, & good food at a reasonable price. Nice staff. BUT - no roast dinner of any type - or the roast chix ‘special’ - left at 6pm, on a Sunday… Came there especially for a Sunday roast as good reviews online… Waitress said that they ‘always run out of roasts by the evening’ - if that’s so, why not make more? Clearly there is the demand.

Had a wonderful lunch at this old pub. Sat inside in one of the dining rooms. Great food which was well priced. Wine list was OK. Has 2 glasses of the Margaret River Rose. All very enjoyable. Would come again.

Had a lovely dinner at the pub. Amazing fish and chips, gnocchi and my daughter had a pasta customised for her with cream sauce. Great service, yummy food served in a historic setting

The beer garden had a really good atmosphere, live music and friendly staff. Food was prompt, and parking was plentiful. If your up near Guildford this should be the first place on your list.
