The atmosphere feels like you are in a canteen with more distant space between tables. You can spend time reading/ working as there are plenty of space. I was there Monday afternoon, no queue, only few people and the carrot cake was still available. I came here for the signature carrot cake. The carrot cake is delicious when eating together with cream-cheese frosting. The proportion of cream cheese is about the right amount. The cake texture was not moist but not dry either. The spices wasn’t strong. I suggested you to try if you are around Ginza and a fan of carrot cake.

Very delicious food. Menu is definitely more on the western side. The vegan orange cake is a dream.

The place was quite empty on our visit. The service is fine unless you expect them to be very attentive... We didn't. Bread was really good and served warm. Tea and coffee quite standard. I definitely recommend the bread which I was looking for in Tokyo specifically. The rest you can get anywhere else at this standard.

Came here for lunch on a wet Wednesday at 12pm. Place was pretty empty. The atmosphere feels like a halfway fancy food court. Lunch was quite expensive with cheap courses costing around 1400 yen - I had the main dish set which came with soup, 1 piece of bread, small salad, main dish (swordfish) and drink all for a cost of 2500 yen. For the price there is much better cafes out there.

Not 100% safe for people with milk allergy, we ordered oats milk latte and were served normal milk. Had I not tried it my partner would have needed to go to the hospital. We have been here a few times and usually safe so giving 2 stars instead of 1, probably the serving staff issue being tired that day.

We came all the way to try this cafe, as soon as we sit down we only ordered soup as my husband was sick and want smth warm. When we ordered it i told the waitress myself we gonna add more once we finish our soup because we came the carrot cake. She brought only one spoon we asked for another one so we cane share the large soup we ordered. She came back telling us “you are not allowed to share”!!! Say what!!😂😂 Of course We left..

After they renovated, the cafe space got smaller and showcase is elminated. It's pitty how they switched their presentation but the carrot cake is still good!! :))

Yelp
My love Rose Bakery It used to be my fave café in town, until they closed the location in Seoul! And after years, it was just standing in front of me in Tokyo, Ginza! Super fresh dishes, coffee on point and the dessert is just to die for

Yelp
4.5. Inside of a cool shopping area. They were sold out of carrot cake so I had the pistachio cake which was good. Coffee was average. Pancakes and juices were yummy. Other pastries looked good. I wish the omelet was cooked a little harder. Everyone was nice I would return again.

Yelp
I was in the area shopping and stumbled upon Rose Bakery; nice layout and very clean. Staff greeted me right away and were very friendly. Ordered the eggs benedict, but because I don't eat bacon, the waitress offered to substitute it for salmon at no extra cost (which was DELICIOUS). Ordered the carrot cake but she came back a few minutes later and advised me that they are actually all sold out, but if I was willing to wait 15 mins, they can bake a fresh batch (this was at roughly 6pm). GREAT service and great food! Highly recommend ***located on the 7th floor of Saint Laurent Dover Street Market Ginza***

Yelp
Great vegetarian/vegan friendly cafe and bakery located on the top floor of Dover Street Market in Ginza. The space feels airy and light, with decor that is simple, minimal, and clean. The food follows in this aesthetic, both in presentation and ingredients used, and was light and delicious On the two occasions we dined here, we ordered the veggie plate (1550 yen) both times. Essentially, it is a sample platter of their various side salad offerings, which you get to choose. During lunch, you can add a small soup and drink for 720 yen. The platter also came with a small veggie quiche on one occasion, and guacamole on another. Rustic bread and butter to start was complimentary. We also tried a variety of their baked goods, including the carrot cake, date bar (OMFG!), a banana walnut loaf, and vegan cookies, all of which were amazing. Service was efficient and friendly. Our waitress took to the time to explain the menu to us, make recommendations, and accommodate certain restrictions. Will most definitely return the next time I am in Tokyo.

Yelp
You wouldn't know this place existed unless you were specifically looking for it or were wandering inside this building. (Take the escalator up to the next floor where you can then take the elevator up to the 7th or 9th floor (i forgot exactly which floor)) We came to this place as we were looking for Vegetarian friendly restaurant. We arrived at lunch time and pleasantly found the place to still have lots of seating available. So, we picked a table, and a server arrived to greet us with menus. (If you bring your baby, there's room to park your pram/stroller next to your table.) The servers speak great English so, although my company wanted to practice their Japanese, the server would respond back in English. hahahaha. Well, at least we know the staff speaks English. Anyway, after ordering they bring you two slices of bread as an appetizer. It is enough as the food comes out fairly quickly. Generally, the food is delicious - very fresh and natural! We opted for the Quiche and the Eggs Benedict. Each dish is priced at about 1,300 yen. You could have a lunch set which comes with more food and tea for about 1,900 yen. But, I was definitely satisfied with just the main dish. They serve a tea set for about 2,200 yen - I'll come back and try this next time as the tea sandwiches and sweets looked so cute! - Definitely a cute girls afternoon tea location! They also have a dessert bar, which you go up to the counter and order yourself.

Yelp
Delicious food, lovely service and such a fantastic little find. My friend ordered one of the sets and I ordered the vegetarian plate, both of which were delicious and came with some of the best bread I have ever tasted. Love that this was nestled into the Commes de Garçon store. Fantastic lunch on day 1 in Tokyo.

Yelp
Followed other Yelp reviews to find this place to accommodate my vegetarian daughter. It is the expected "Japanese take" on things like a full English Breakfast. Small portions, a bit pricey, but definitely what needed. A low carb breakfast. Very friendly staff with good English.m

Yelp
I am flabbergasted that this slightly above average "restaurant" (it looks like a level above a prison cafeteria) has garnered such great reviews. Not just here, but apparently on tons of other sites, because the place is now constantly crowded. I do not understand what the draw of Rose Bakery is. There are a FEW vegetarian dishes. The bread is great, yes. The service varies, depending on who serves you; some of the servers are great, some of them give you the deer-in-headlights stare. For lunch fare in Tokyo, you can do better. It's slightly overpriced and portions are small... although it IS good. But for reasons beyond my comprehension, this little place has obviously been reviewed as "the" spot to go to, and hence people come here and think they are having this brilliant "experience." I live in Tokyo. I've been to the Rose Bakery at least 30 times, mainly because of convenience. They are thoughtful about preparing the food; I will say that. So do not expect them to rush it out of the kitchen. Some staff speak English; some just give you that scared "don't talk to me" look. When they serve you bread for two (which does NOT come with every order, only SOME--so ask), they inexplicably give you one tiny pat of butter. Every single time I have gone there, I have to ask them for two (I speak Japanese). Finally, the last time I did so, one of them seemed to clue in as to why I kept asking. But still, I must ask. They have a "deli" where you can buy some of the dishes they serve, but not many. They also have some desserts, none of which I felt were outstanding. IF you are specifically in THIS area (and it is not on the main street), and you have nowhere else to go, it IS convenient and it is fairly good. But it is not a "Japanese" culinary experience. It is just a "healthy" restaurant in a building of shops; that's all.
