I lived in Paris for three years, and since then I come back almost every year. This place has always been — and still is — my favorite spot in Paris, which is why I was honestly surprised to see so many negative reviews. This is one of the few places in Paris where you can truly find organic, fresh, and genuinely tasty food. It’s not just a single café — it’s a small, family-run chain with a market, café, and takeaway concept, and you can really feel that authenticity. This is not an artificial, over-polished place with forced smiles and scripted service. Everything here feels real: the food, the people, and the atmosphere. Ingredients are fresh, flavors are honest, and the overall experience is consistently good. If you appreciate organic food, quality over hype, and places with soul rather than fake luxury, this is absolutely worth visiting — again and again.

Randomly got in. Looks very authentic. The staff are English speakers. We ordered croissants and a tarte pecan, both of which were delicious! The coffee tasted great as well. The staff are very friendly. 👍🏻recommend it for sure!

I don't know if there was a change in management, but our experience was way different than what is written in other reviews. Tea was served without teapot, with an anonymous tea bag directly in the cup. The temperature of the water was too high, even for black tea and we had green tea. The place has a bad mix of kitchen smells and the furniture looks very worn out. I definitely not recommend this venture. It is very far from what a "tea room" is.

They didn’t have much left (it was an hour before closing) so the lovely server took me into their take away shop next door so I could choose something from there. Overall great service, cake was good but a bit pricey.

Came because the Carrot Cake recently ranked amongst the best ones in Paris. Very dry, probably made another day. Cream cheese was good. Service horrible.
