Bowen is a lovely spot. Ensure you visit the museum and Bird's fish n chips. Best fish ever. Flagstaff Hill has excellent photo opportunities. A trip to Collinsville approximately 1 hour drive away to see the interactive mining experience at the Workers Club was enlightening and interesting. The weather is glorious, but it can get windy and, on winter months take a jacket.

A nice quiet place to stay with awesome views from your balcony and a beautiful beach a mere 20 footprints from you front door. Woke up everyday to breathtaking sunrises.

Contactless check in, easy to contact for requests. Beautiful location and clean apartments. Beach front, gorgeous sunrises and access to bbq area. Have all utensils you need to have a BBQ. Family friendly.

Two night stay, great room overlooking the beach. The apartment was spacious and contained everything you need for self catering, bed was very comfortable.|Sadly the weather was not great, rain. Had it been the beachfront location would have made our stay great.|We walked over the headland to Horseshoe Bay and had had drinks at the Cafe on the Beach which is definitely worth a visit, great vibe and menu.

WOW what an amazing view from the beachfront rooms. We stayed in a one Bedroom Apartment. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean & with a great layout. We selected this venue for a few reasons - it had an EV charger, the location is perfect & price was good. We had a wonderful couple of days staying here. Highly recommend.

All I can say is 'wow what a view'! Waking up to paradise each morning was just amazing. We had a studio room apartment that was literally on the beach. I liked the accommodation as it was a quieter area away from the crowd. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

What a great DOG friendly find this was. Apartment style with an enclosed area for the dogs, the rooms are large and the facilities are excellent. Service was also excellent. Right on the beach. The only issue we had was we could not book it for the return journey. Book early!

Rose Bay Resort is located on the secluded coastline of Bowen with terrific views of Gloucester Island and the ocean. The bay's rock formations along the shoreline provide protection from 'blowin Bowen'.Relaxing in the sun is simply dreamy. The units are large, clean and very cosy. Their location makes for a quiet stay with little to no traffic noise at night -just the rolling ocean on your doorstep. We were upgraded to the Penthouse and could not of been happier with the accommodation- so happy we stayed an extra 3 nights. Worth every cent. #ResearchAndTravelServices #facxual_events
