LOCATION LOCATION.!! OMFG..one of the bessst views on East Coast of Aus from 2bed FULLY s/c apartment. Bowen is an undiscovered GEM of FNQ..some of the best beaches ANYWHERE. Perfect place to relax and unwind or to explore the reef and surroundings..stunning hiking trails,friendly a.f locals..👌❤️, swimming spots ( can find your verry own "private beach"). No one site restaurant but the most incredible kitchen..EVERTYHING you need..even coffee machine.👍 So if u have family can save few $$ by cooking some own meals..or out to try some surprisingly grreat places to eat. Our room was EXTREMELY clean,variety of pillows to suit all tastes.👌

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Service, staff, cleanliness, that view, snorkel equipment for free use along with beach towels and paddle boards. Just overall fantastic. Shout out to Rachel the receptionist who went out of her way to make our stay A+++. We'll be back.

From the moment I booked I was impressed with the courteous and friendly staff. The accommodation was absolutely amazing with all the equipment you need for a self contained stay. As a single parent the comfort and ease of being located right on the beach meant I could relax from the moment we arrived. The only downside is that now the kids will keep wanting to come back 🤣 Definitely worth the price.

I felt I needed to share this review as Myself & partner we're checking in when Rachel was on a call with someone clearly screaming and yelling down the phone at her. You could tell that Rachel was clearly upset on the phone call and I felt so sorry for her that anyone should have to be spoken to in that way. She was a gem and just got on with our booking process, we were going to be a late arrival but she met us at the resort and recommended places to eat and showed us the free snorkels and equipment we could use and gave us beach towels. I work in hospo so I have much sympathy for what she went through and for the review that was given after. This place is gorgeous, the rooms are amazingly clean and Rachel acted so well under clear pressure. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Rose Bay Resort is an absolute gem! The location is excellent, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely lovely, going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The rooms are spotless, very tidy, and equipped with great facilities that make you feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Stunning location, breathtaking views to wake up to every morning on your holiday. Easiest booking & check in process I’ve dealt with in forever thanks to the manager Rachel. She responded to all our requests with nothing but kindness and didn’t keep us waiting long periods of time either. Beautiful beach resort coupled with a manager who is professional, friendly & willing to help guests even when we annoyed her with questions about Bowen isn’t overly common these days especially during peak seasons. Will definitely be back. Thanks Rachel for making an already special trip even more enjoyable

Waking g up early to see the sunrise over the Whitsundays was magical. Rose Bay Beach was awesome and a minute walk from our room. A few negatives though. Smoking is allowed from balconies however with the easterly breezes this blew other people's smoke directly into our room. For the last 3 days of our stay the resort was repairing gutters which meant that a huge scissor lift was operating directly outside our room. We had no warning that this work was starting so not good with the noise, more cigarettes smoke in our room and heaps of debris over our balcony. Finally, the resort really want you to cook in your room as there was no exhaust fan in the kitchenette and smokexwarnings everywhere. Also there was only one comfy chair in the room so partner had to sit on the bed or a kitchen chair. Overall a superb location and a good stay impacted by a few niggling issues.

Bowen is a lovely spot. Ensure you visit the museum and Bird's fish n chips. Best fish ever. Flagstaff Hill has excellent photo opportunities. A trip to Collinsville approximately 1 hour drive away to see the interactive mining experience at the Workers Club was enlightening and interesting. The weather is glorious, but it can get windy and, on winter months take a jacket.

Rose Bay Resort is located on the secluded coastline of Bowen with terrific views of Gloucester Island and the ocean. The bay's rock formations along the shoreline provide protection from 'blowin Bowen'.Relaxing in the sun is simply dreamy. The units are large, clean and very cosy. Their location makes for a quiet stay with little to no traffic noise at night -just the rolling ocean on your doorstep. We were upgraded to the Penthouse and could not of been happier with the accommodation- so happy we stayed an extra 3 nights. Worth every cent. #ResearchAndTravelServices #facxual_events
