HOTEL ROZA KAZANLAK

This hotel has both pros and cons for your serious consideration. On the pros side its location is unrivaled right in front of the central square in the Town centre. It has a wonderful staff with a highly attentive service and free fruits, coffee and tea all day long at their cafeteria. It also has a free parking behind the hotel which we found very convenient and safe for parking. Also with its superb location we could see the light & sound event and the show and exhibits for the Rose festival opening on the evening of 31 May despite the rain shower all the time. You also can enjoy the beautiful rose garden outside the hotel terrace taken care by the hotel couple owner. ||On the cons side the room is small, bed is a bit uncomfortable, and the worst thing is the small cramp toilet with a bad smell. Also the hotel is on 5th floor of the old rundown building but they have a 2-person old lift to service for only carpark first floor straight up to the hotel 5th floor. ||In all its impressive location and service overshadowed the poor room and toilet for us. But given we stated on the 31 May night for the rose festival ceremony we found it is truly worth the double price room for the stunning firework and exhibitions.

My private guide made the reservation. The hotel was perfect. They offer free refreshments all day. My room was simple, but very comfortable. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking the square. Half of the terrace was filled with rose bushes. Breakfast was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful.

A very comfortable hotel with super friendly staff. The bathroom in our room was redone with a fantastic shower with multiple settings. Nice breakfast in the morning with cereals, meats, cheeses, fruit and toast.||||The rose balcony is lovely and the little touches (oranges, cherries, chocolates, tea and coffee available all day), really make this a great place to stay.||||Car parking is available out the back for €4 per day. No need to reserve. The staff have lots of information about the Rose Festival, but best to call in advance, not email.||||Only negative was the mattress was a little uncomfortable.

This is a cozy hotel in the center of Kanzalak city. The room was well equiped and very clean. I was pleased to find in my room a free bottle of wine at my arrival. The shower has mineral thermal water which it looks very interesting to me. 👍 The breakfast was decent, you can have free coffee during the day. I stopped here due to the bad weather and bad road condition and I appreciated a lot the kindness of the employees!

I stayed at hotel Roza with a friend for the rose festival. It was a fantastic location overlooking the main square so we could watch the main stage and the parade on the Sunday. What made it special though was the friendly staff who helped us to sort out trains and gave us delicious wine and beer free in the evening. Breakfasts were a fantastic spread of cheese, cured meats, fruit, bread, cereal, yoghurt, sweet pickles, really delicious. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Excellent hotel and we really loved our trip to Bulgaria. Charlotte & Gillian

Hotel is located in the heart of city.. accessible to any where.. basic breakfast.. no eggs.. friendly staff.. avg rooms but neat.. has terrace. parking is charged at 8 BGL per day.||its value for money.. its a very quiet hotel. the hotel lift had capacity for only 2 person.they have a business center.toilets were neat n clean.hotel is facing the main street.

Some positive and some negative points. Prices are very expensive (overpriced looking quality / price ) and are also depending the month you are, even out of roses festival. Rooms are about correct but basic for the standard ones, they all are small, and sometimes old fashion. Be aware that the "wine bottle offered" with the "superior room" is a small bottle (1 or 2 glass), bathroom is quite basic. Breakfast is very simple. Some fruit and water free all day but very basic also.||Nice balcony with many roses, and the view is very good. very good location in the center in front of a central place. We were there in May (not during roses festival) and we had to pay for the parking of the hotel.

The room was clean and nice. The staff were so rude. The breakfast is very basic. When we requested to have a second tea. The staff got angry and told us how much do you want to eat?! When we said that it is advertised as continental breakfast... they got to the argument with us, and eventually called secuirty and threatened to call police for TEA!! Stay away from these people. They ruined our whole trip experience. My child was crying after the whole incident...
