We felt so fortunate to have found this absolutely adorable, clean, and beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners were some of the friendliest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met — truly a pleasure to talk to and be hosted by.
They’ve thoughtfully considered every comfort for your stay, from pristine floors in the rooms with fresh cut flowers to complimentary bottled water and a selection of tasty snacks in our beautiful room. Every detail made us feel right at home. This is without a doubt a 5-star accommodation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone traveling toward Placentia.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious — so generous that we even had leftovers to enjoy later during our sightseeing!
Placentia itself is a charming little town. We really enjoyed the guided tour of the Castle Hill National Historic Site — very informative and engaging. There are also some lovely walking trails, including a scenic boardwalk by the ocean.
We had dinner at Dockside, a delightful waterfront restaurant owned by a young couple in their 20s. It was beautifully run and the food and atmosphere were perfect.
As a bonus, we were lucky enough to catch a play at the local theatre — a truly fantastic performance with incredibly talented actors and actresses.
This little town ended up being one of the big highlights of our trip. We’re so glad we came!
Thanks so much for hosting us!
Regards,
Karen and Scott Simpson
