On the Grid : The Roseleaf Cafe

"Hidden in the Dubai Garden Centre, the Roseleaf Cafe is the perfect spot to catch up on some reading during the week, or enjoy a delicious breakfast on the weekend. Their terrarium-like outdoor seating makes you instantly forget that you're in a bustling city." - Leen Sadder

I visited this coffee shop today and had a really lovely experience! The place was nice and cozy, and the staff were extremely kind and gentle. It was my birthday, and they surprised me with a small gift—such a sweet gesture that made my day even more special. Thank you for the warm welcome and thoughtful service! 😊🎁🎉

Located inside the Garden Concept store, Roseleaf is an eatery focusing on all-day breakfast, salads and comfort dishes. The pulled beef sandwich (77 AED) was yummy but the French toast (96 AED) was average with too much caramelised toffee. The interior is relaxed with bar seating and tables for large groups. The service is accommodating and friendly.

Food was excellent, service was okay. This location is a bit smaller than I expected, it is inside a gym.

It's simple and straight forward. I come here all the time for my garden needs but never thought to sit down at the café - the main dining area. Overall, it's a chill environment with fresh ingredients. Very shocked with the size of these sweet potato wedges... haha it's basically 1/2 the sweet potato. It's not a bad thing. The only feedback would be service... I understand it's a café but the servers were a little too slow, almost like molasses which is unfortunate. It seems unaligned to the rest of the team working in the garden shop. It's a good place to hang out or have a business lunch but not if you're in a slight hurry.

The place is inside huge plants and gardening stuff shop. It's good for working or business meeting or small group gathering. They offer two sitting areas. I loved the green vibe. Menu didn't have a lot of options. I will definitely go again :)

So I visited this restaurant as it was the best co working cafe rated in Dubai , male African staff was friendly and informative but few pointers the manager has to notice 1. lady waiter first gave me the open wifi connection which wasn't working and only by requesting the male waiter gave me access to guest wifi.(I was supposed to order later but looking at the disparity of the lady waiter I ordered before) 2.not all places have charging ports installed. 3. I tried the omelette and mushrooms the v60 coffee and tunisian cake all were fine but keep some more healthier option like baked fries as sides. 4. the lady waiter can smile more and feel the co-working ppl more welcomed. 6.washrooms need some fragrance.its clean and hygienic but I expect the washrooms to be more welcoming. I am a machine learning engineer so yes I like to work at the most comfortable seats and arrangement and this I didn't find as a top rated place to work

I visited this restaurant today and ordered the salmon on a bed of salad. The salmon itself was decent, but the salad was extremely salty with large grains of salt that crunched in my mouth, and it had a sour topping. I asked them to replace the salad, explaining that it was too salty for me to eat, and requested a new salad with only olive oil, no salt or pepper added (since I prefer to season it myself). There were also two eggs on the plate, both heavily salted—clearly visible on top. When they brought the “new” salad, it seemed suspicious. Upon tasting, I realized it still had the acidic flavor of balsamic vinegar. Some of the leaves even had faint brown spots of dressing on them. It looked like they had simply washed my old salad under running water and served it again. When I asked the waiter if they had just rinsed off the old salad, he spoke to the chef and then insisted that they did not. However, I am absolutely certain that’s exactly what happened. I ended up paying 60 dirhams for the dish. I hope they saved a lot of money by reusing my salad, but I certainly didn’t eat it because the whole situation was quite off-putting. Thank you.

Another Gem in Al Quoz ✨ The food, cakes, and drinks are absolutely amazing—always fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, especially Mr. Nico, who always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone looking for great food 🫶🏻
