Rosemont is an older home very cute and kept up. Location was great in the middle of the city. Driving in areas look a bit concerning but that's like any larger city you come to. The home itself and parking was safe. The room was very accommodating with such a welcoming vibe. It was midweek so not many other guest leaving it very peaceful and quiet. We only stayed one night and requested the baked goods basket I was thinking it would be fresh but was already in fridge which brings a different flavor to breads. Once they was room temp they was okay, about like any other continental breakfast easy to grab on the go. The garden area definitely has great potential but certainly overlooked in areas could use just a bit more love. All in all would recommend to other travels and would stay again .

Loved it! Perfect for a few friends & pups for the wknd in a great neighborhood, walkable to fantastic restaurants and the fantastic Esse purse museum. The cottage was super cozy & the dogs loved having a little fenced in area to run around. The breakfast was only for one of the two-night stay & it was make-it-yourself. We didn't mind that at all! Very relaxing visit.

Really enjoyed out stay. Be prepared for a really old building but I loved that. I enjoyed hanging out on the porch in the morning reading my book with a couple cats hanging out. Took an afternoon walk around and got to see the old historic buildings around the neighborhood. There are definitely some super run down buildings around but I never felt unsafe. It was super close to the downtown area where we were going to a concert. The place really felt cozy and relaxing. The only downside was the breakfast, you have to make your own, which is fine, but there was hardly any space to actually prepare it or anywhere to eat it. Overall, we loved it and I'd be interested to see the other cottages. We will definitely consider coming back if we make it back to Little Rock sometime.

The house itself is old but quaint. The neighborhood was ok, seemed safe enough. Parking was a little tricky with a very narrow driveway with brick ledges on either side. Front porch was nice, especially since it was raining. We didn’t have a choice for a balcony. The garden needed some TLC. All in all ok but a bed and breakfast usually has a breakfast with the other guests or at least fresh that morning. Not only do you have to cook your own in a very limited space, we didn’t get it the second day after ordering ahead of time by phone. Not what I was expecting.

Charming, great vibes, awesome location, comfy bed, amazing spa tub, and pet-friendly. My partner and I stayed in the Gardener’s Cottage for a night on a cross-country road trip and it was a beautiful haven and welcome respite from hotels!

Me and my pup drove from Texas to Kentucky and stayed in LR at the Carriage Cottage on both the way there and back. I had originally got us a hotel room for on the way back home, but after they added their pet fee the cottage turned out to be cheaper and with way more privacy, so I cancelled. (The hotel for a Saturday was $112+$75 and the cottage was $150+$25. Our Tuesday night stay at the cottage was only $130!) 😊 Getting there was easy and the neighborhood and house are really cute. Greg was thankfully on the main house porch when we arrived the first night and didn’t hesitate to show me my room when I asked, and even got the heater going for me. It was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed and more. I slept like a baby both nights and felt safe coming and going as needed thanks to all the motion lights on property. The fenced in little cottage yard was awesome for quick puppy potty trips and he was allowed to play in the big yard if he wanted. Will definitely be making this my go to spot to stay any time I’m in LR. Thank you guys greatly!!!

Google
Our stay at Rosemont cottages was amazing. Upon initial arrival, you can’t help but notice the warm, welcoming, and cozy vibe. The cottage was so refreshingly clean. It is so evident that the owners / staff pay close attention to detail and care about your experience here. The self make breakfast included is such a nice and sweet touch. The instructions sent to us via email before arrival were easy to follow and the check in process was seamless. I would recommend this place 12/10 times!

Google
I typically don't like to leave reviews, especially negative, but had to given how the owner has responded to our issue. This "b&b" is more akin to a low-end motel than an actual b&b. We only received the breakfast that we paid for 2 out of the 3 days (Although maybe this is a blessing considering that the breakfast was left in our fridge in old, stained tupperware containers). When we requested a partial refund for the one day of missed breakfast we were ignored and not issued the refund. Now, forgetting the issues with the owner: The building itself was falling apart. About half of the steps on the staircase leading up to the cottage were rotted or not nailed down, there were massive gaps around the door leading out of the room, and water damage on the ceiling in the room that we stayed in. Not to mention that the cottage is surrounded by abandoned buildings and has random people walking up and down the street out front all hours of the night. We travel a lot and have stayed in numerous Airbnbs, actual B&Bs, high-end hotels, and low-end hotels, but none have been worse than this. If you want a real B&B in Little Rock consider The Empress. If you want something similar to this stay, but at a more appropriate cost, consider a motel 6.

Yelp
What a breath of fresh air after a long day cooped up in an office! Again in Little Rock on business, again stayed in the Gardener's Cottage, and again was refreshed and revived each night before another busy day! Amazing decadent breakfast - homemade quiche, French toast, fresh sausage, veggie omelette, fresh squeezed OJ, and always a yummy baked treat to go along - and fresh fruit to accompany. My only regret is not having more time to spend enjoying the patio and garden. Will have to sneak out of work early one of these days to relax and read (and try to make friends with the house cat)!

Yelp
These cottages are a perfect layover on a long drive - located close to the highway and Uber-able to downtown so you can park the car and head out for a nice meal before hitting the road again. The rooms are quaint and cute - more retro-antique than shabby chic. The "breakfast" is a DIY. The owners leave fixings in the fridge (like pancake/waffle batter and sausages, syrup and jams) and you make your own brekkie at your leisure. It's not fancy, and it's a little worse for the wear in some areas, but perfect for a restful layover in Little Rock.

Yelp
Absolutely adorable little cottages. The couple that run it are the sweetest people, incredibly attentive with excellent food recommendations! They're incredibly personable and just all around lovely people. The cottages themselves are lovely, clean and well decorated. The kitchen has all the utensils you could need to cook during your stay along with complementary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The bathroom is lovely and spacious boasting two shower heads in the shower that gave me two of the best showers of my entire life that I will dream about. I honestly can't recommend this place enough, it's in the perfect location run by the absolutely best people. Greg and Stephanie, Shelby and I will absolutely be staying with y'all our next run in Little Rock if you can find it in your hearts to forgive me for accidentally staining one of your pillows with hair dye bleed out lol.

Yelp
Yes!! Went here for a Girls Weekend! Quaint, beautiful cottages and surroundings. Great outdoor seating and gardens to gather as a group. Good parking for unloading. Delicious menu choices. Close to shops and cafes. Gave us wonderful memories of love and laughter. Would love to come again!

Yelp
Currently here right now. Such a great place! It ended up being a rainy day so this cozy little BNB was perfect. The outside space is so lovely wish we would have brought our pup!

Yelp
Lovely getaway...cottages are first rate and comfortable..Our food was delicious and just what we wanted.

Yelp
My two daughters and I stayed here for one night in early October while we were on a 'girls' trip. It exceeded our expectations! The location was convenient and walkable with close proximity to the Museum on Fine Art, interesting shops, and unique restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating. We stayed in the Tree Top cottage and had a kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths plus a balcony with outdoor seating. The rooms were cozy and comfortable with comfortable beds, a flat screen tv in each room, and a kuerig coffee pot in the room. In addition, a there were terry robes for each of us and the bathrooms had high end thick towels and the shampoo, soaps and lotions were the expensive kind that smell wonderful! We ordered sausages and waffles and both were plentiful (more than we could eat) and delicious. There was a blend of the old and the new at this lovely, authentic home. The host, Susan, was responsive and friendly. We loved it and I recommend it if you're looking for an authentic Victorian style home that's affordable with nice amenities.

Yelp
this place has a lot of potential but there were several issues and more importantly my recent interaction with susie/susan was atrocious (please read the other 1 star reviews- it seems anytime someone has a problem here they have a super bad experience. i think the only way you have a good experience here is if you have no issues while staying there- but if you have issues that are not your fault- be prepared to be blamed and disrespected) i just got off the phone with her raising her voice at me after sharing that we got locked into our bedroom three times once in the middle of the night- at one point at 3am thinking i would have to go out the backyard, climb the fence, come in through the front door just to go to the bathroom. there is something wrong with the door knob i have no idea what it is but from the inside of the bedroom it will not let you back out until after several minutes of jiggling and pushing when you finally break through. we also had an oven that did not work- i put it on broil and after an hour there is zero heat. she told me nicely at first 'oh thanks for letting me know we will fix it' but not once did she say oh i am so sorry this was such a terrible experience- let me give you some credit or partial refund or something. so when i brought this up and said hey i am business owner and when someone has a super bad experience i do things to make amends she then say 'oh i see where this is going' and she said 'so you locked yourself into your room' and then starts making this all about me and blaming me for my bad experience. WOW. i locked myself into my room!?! i closed the door. i did not lock myself. if i was an elderly person and did not have the patience and body weight to keep trying the door for several minutes putting the full weight of my body on the door and pushing multiple times/jiggling to finally get it to work IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT mind you- i would have been stuck in my room. also there is pink and black mold on the shower curtain and it smells horrid when you use the shower and the water hits the mold, the oven does not work, there is ZERO anything here in the kitchen to use to cook so you have to bring everything (no spices, no olive oil, nothing that any other b&b i have ever stayed at has included). the bed sinks in the middle and i woke with back pain, and the next door unit has bright outdoor lights i could not turn off and they shine into the bedroom. i was able to unplug the ones in my yard (which were much less bright bulbs) but could not do that for the next door neighbors obviously (which is the b&b's next door unit) also there were dishes that were dirty with food on them in the clean dish cabinet- i had to wash them before i used them. again- the place has much potential but the way susie/susan handled the customer service WOW! i was sharing simply that we did not have a good experience and particularly getting locked in the bedroom in the middle of the night when i need to use the bathroom was actually anxiety producing and would have been worse for an elderly person. the idea of having to walk outside in a neighborhood i know nothing about in my pajamas with no contacts on to climb a fence and get in through the front door- which was a VERY REAL possibility as it took me SEVERAL minutes of jiggling the door and pushing on it multiple times before i somehow got it to open. and this happened 2 other times- as after the first time i thought it was just a fluke- it happened again in the morning when we woke and one more time when my kid accidentally closed the door again (i told her not to close the door after realizing this happens every time when it happened a 2nd time but she forgot). luckily i was in the kitchen and the door is easy to open from the hallway- it's only difficult from the inside of the room. to have a business owner not care about the experience of the guest and just go 'oh thanks for telling me we will fix that' and i paid 292.23 including tax (255 for the booking)- i am just shocked. like seriously shocked. she was super rude- and other reviews here seem to have had similar experiences. i am guessing the positive ones are people who did not have issues and did not complain. but if you have any issues - don't expect them to be resolved in a kindly manner. expect to be spoken to rudely and expect to be attacked and blamed for whatever the issue is- like she told me i am to blame for locking myself in our room. WOW. she has no capacity for conflict resolution, customer service or kindness for that matter. it appears she wants your money- and if you are happy she is happy. but if you are not happy and she in any way may lose money she will become incredibly rude and nasty towards you. honestly i am SHOCKED at our experience and i would not recommend this place at all- you are better off at a best western !!!

Yelp
The Rosemont B & B was the perfect place to unwind after a long day driving down South from Chicago. We appreciated that they are dog friendly. Susan, the innkeeper, was there to greet us on arrival but had prepared a hand-typed note just in case she wasn't around. The room was very clean and spacious, and had adorable decorations. It was very homey and quiet. Susan also has a little fridge stocked with soda and candy and some snack drawers. There was a keurig in the room and all the little amenities that one could want. The whole house was very cozy and the grounds were so quaint. Susan gave us some great local dog-friendly restaurant suggestions (we ended up at the Faded Rose- food was great and the pup loved it). We also had a delicious homemade breakfast in the morning before we had to head back on the road. You can personalize your breakfast preferences ahead of time, and they are served or delivered to your room right on the time you select. Awesome service. If we are ever in Little Rock again, we will definitely stay here again!

Yelp
My family stays in the cottages here every time they come visit. We love it! It's always quiet and clean! They allow pets, so we bring our cat. The patio is beautiful when the weather is nice. We won't stay anywhere else in Little Rock!

Yelp
We recently stayed at Rosemont Bed and Breakfast in Little Rock recently for our anniversary. It was great. The house was beautiful, with a nice sitting area filled with books and very comfortable. Our room upstairs was furnished very nicely with a comfortable king bed and in the bathroom we had a king size jacuzzi. The breakfast was delicious too. We just live 45 minutes away but wanted to stay somewhere special. We loved it, and will stay again.

Yelp
So disappointed...we were scheduled too arrive at our Cottage on Wednesday, April 28th. As it turned out we had severe weather hit Arkansas that morning . We live in NWA, the B&B is about 4 hours south. We cancelled last minute due to severe weather conditions and the possibility of the same weather system moving in the same direction we were traveling. Susan the owner was so RUDE, she implied I was "lying" about the weather conditions & we would still "Have to Pay" for both nights. I rescheduled our visit to Moss Mountain (the reason we were going) for 9 days later. Susan, would NOT even grant us credit for other nights. Moss Mountain website recommended this B&B, while Moss Mountain offered a "Gift Certificate" for our missed event. Susan, kept our funds even when it was too dangerous for us too drive. I think her implication I was lying about the weather conditions was tacky & charging for 2 unused nights was very bad customer service. Beware of this woman and her unforgiving policies.

Yelp
This was my very first experience at a B&B and it was awesome!! My husband and I were relocating from Texas to Tennessee in December of last year. We needed a place to stay midway on our trip that was pet friendly since we had our cat. We checked with Susan and found out that she DID allow pets at her bed-and-breakfast. Although she charged a bit extra for it, Rosemont was still comparable to hotels in the area and MUCH nicer!! The home was absolutely beautiful. Since we stayed during the Christmas season, the entire house was decorated for the holiday, with one room displaying a huge Christmas tree. It felt almost like stepping back in time about 60 years! We stayed upstairs in an adorable room that included a little sun room off to the side where we let our cat stay. He quickly made himself at home!! There was a bathroom attached to our room, a gas fireplace, TV, coffee maker, everything that you could possibly need! Susan was very conscientious and had instructions for the different appliances laminated and laid out in the room. Every question you could possibly have had was answered. The next morning, Susan made us a delicious breakfast that we ate downstairs in her dining room. We had to leave quickly but I can't wait to go back and just relax there. It is so restful and peaceful. No hotel staff knocking on your neighbors doors yelling "HOUSEKEEPING!!!". I would stay at Rosemont instead of a hotel even if we didn't have our cat with us, it was that great!

Yelp
I booked the cottage for my best friend, whose son was in Arkansas's children hospital. The owner agree to give me a medical flat rate. On the 2nd day I happened to be at a baseball game and was unable to answer my phone while the owner sent lots of text wanting to know if they needed to stay another night and how important it was to contact her and it could not wait (she was very rude). I brushed it off since I know interpretations can be taken wrong thur text.  At that time I was unaware if they had received notification from the Ronald McDonald House to be able to stay there instead of the Cottage. After finding out they did not get into the Ronald McDonald House I message the owner to stay another night for them. She told me to book the cottage through air BNB and that she would change the rate after that was done just like the previous day.  Then she told me that it would be cheaper if I paid her directly after I had already booked through air BNB. I did not know the air BNB was still going to charge me, I was under the interpretation that she would cancel it although that was not the case. I was charged twice. Once from air BNB and once from her personal. The next day they did not get into the Ronald McDonald House again and another friend was going to pay for them to stay another night. Susan told them that I paid for 2 nights and that they would have to get with me to pay me back. I was unaware that I had been charged twice at this time period. I then requested only the money back that would have made it the same rate as the 1st Night they stayed. She denied my refund stating that was never agreed upon even though I have text to prove this was agreed upon.  This has been the worse Airbnb experience I have ever encountered.  I can't believe a person would put this upon me after I was trying to help a friend in a devastating situation.  On top of everything she did not even tell me I was charged twice.  She did not communicate with me about the overpayment and if they would have got into Ronald McDonald house the 2nd day, I believe she probably would have denied a complete refund. I am not a hard person to get along with and was very grateful she offered a medical discount but I am a person that believes people should honor their word. I honestly am in disbelief that am having to write a bad review on a stay that was gifted to a friends in a devastating situation. She even had the nerve to text me threatening to call the guest (who were with their son on life support) and demand they give their credit card information to her. I have read thur Susan's other reviews and it seems I'm not the only one that has had a bad experience.  And i'm baffled at her responses to the bad reviews, throwing blame on anyone but herself and making the guest look like they were "needy" or "over the top". This is very unprofessional and I can only imagine what her response will be to this review. After sending her a private message on how disappointed I was this was her response to me.... "Amber, working with you was a frustrating nightmare of incessant text messages, indecision, ignoring all of the guidelines of check-in and check-out times and appropriate behavior. You were thoughtless, inconsiderate, and felt you had no responsibility to make this "good Samaratan" act of yours actually work. You just dumped it on me and went about your weekend life thinking that the important issue was for you to save a few dollars, which of course, I had to contribute. In the six years I have worked with Airbnb guests, I have never encountered a guest like you. Perhaps you should have put more effort into your good deed instead of leaving all of the effort to me. I will write an equal review about you. You are banned from booking with me. And, I truly hope you are not as miserable and self-centered a person as you presented to me. Please pray for yourself so God will bless you. PS. i was willing to let this ride with no review posted but you have, or course, forced us into a confrontation. You might want to consider self-examination, if that is even possible."

Yelp
Booking with Susan was an easy and pleasurable experience. She actually called me after booking to let me know that the cottage we booked was under construction and was very apologetic. To make up for this, she gave us an upgrade, which we were very happy about. The cottage was beautiful, cozy and quiet. The grounds are so secluded, completely tucked away from the rest of the neighborhood. It actually feels like you are not in Little Rock. We appreciated the fact that we could check in and out easily, and that our breakfast was brought to our front door! Definitely an efficient system that Susan has set up. And of course, most importantly (to us) is that our big pup was allowed to stay too! She thoroughly enjoyed her experience as well.

Yelp
We stayed in the Winslow cottage. Very cute and had everything we needed. The fridge runs a little loud but didn't keep me from sleeping :). Loved the big tub and spacious floor plan. Very clean and comfy. We rented this last minute so we weren't able to get breakfast in the morning so we walked down to Roots Cafe in the morning which was Amazing!! The location wasn't what I thought it would be, thought we'd be closer to some shops but it all worked out ok. Nice, neat neighborhood. Nice patio to sit on and huge magnolia tree out front, very pretty. Great deal for the price!

Yelp
I wish there were more stars to give this little B&B. What a gem in Little Rock. Meticulous attention is paid to every detail and you will want for nothing. A stay at the Rosemont is worth the trip alone to Little Rock. Hope to return one day.

Yelp
I stayed in the May Cottage--I was upgraded free of charge because of construction. And it is gorgeous. Light, bright, airy, clean as a whistle and homey--after a tough week on the road driving across country, I didn't want to leave. They deliver a terrific breakfast to your door in a little wooden basket each morning. Delicious French toast the day that I stayed. The neighborhood is on the edge of Little Rock's historic governor's district (beautiful old Victorian and Craftsman homes) and easily walkable to SoMa, the new restaurant/shopping area. Great place.

C L.

Yelp
We arrived at Rosemont after the first leg of our cross country move. We were exhausted after driving 15 hours with 4 people, 2 dogs, and 1 car. We checked into May's Cottage with no problems and felt immediately at home. Fire was stoked, breakfast in the fridge, and the entire cottage was sparkling clean. We all fell deep into sleep only to wake up and drive out early in the AM to our next stop. We travel for work and are picky about our lodgings, Rosemont definitely met and exceeded our expectations. The hospitality of the inn keepers was a welcome perk.

Yelp
the home was very nice but you have to clean the kitchen yourself and if you don't there's a $45 fee! Also, you have to take the garbage out yourself! My husband and I were wondering if we had to do the laundry as well! LOL. There was no breakfast at this bed-and-breakfast. All in all, we won't return.

Emilia W.

Yelp
Great experience for us. We arrived around 10pm the week of Thanksgiving and stayed in the main house. We brought our dogs, and were glad they were welcome. The St. Clair room is very pretty, and includes a sweet sun room with bed for third guest. The whole place was very peaceful and quiet, and we liked the relaxed vibe. On Friday before we drove home, the owner accommodated an early breakfast for us and it was very good.

Yelp
Susan made our stay very comfortable. Snacks and beverages were available 24/7. There's a great outdoor patio. We got take out for dinner and ate outside. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We were able to go for a nice relaxing walk. Breakfast was delicious. She asked about our preferences ahead of time. We had stuffed French toast - yum! Room was clean and comfortable.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at the Rosemont. The owner was away, but Michelle was left in charge and did an excellent job! She was extremely helpful in getting us ready for late check-in (via email, AirBnB, and telephone), was warm and welcoming in the morning when we met her for breakfast and as we left on Sunday. We were upgraded to the Somerset based on availability and it was great. Well worth using AirBnB, as it was cheaper than registering via their website, but we received a more than fair upgrade just the same.

Leah N.

Yelp
My husband and I loved our weekend stay. Love the history and architecture of the house - as well as having all the modern amenities like wi-fi etc. Susan is an excellent host.

Yelp
Zero is my rating. It seems like the only reviews that are recommended or are coded as "useful" are the positive reviews. Very bad experience. Very abrasive, rude, discourteous owner as stated by previous posts.
google avatar

Noel R.

Yelp
The Inn is nice enough, but the Innkeeper is abrasive and acts as if she does not want to be bothered at all. We had a last minute stay and after providing my credit card number, we got a code to our room. It was cute with shabby chic decor. There was a little kitchenette, but some if the dishes were dirty, so we washed everything we used. Breakfast was supposed to be delivered each morning around 9. On the first morning, we knocked both the front and side doors to alert the inn keeper that we had an appointment and did not want breakfast. There was no answer. We would have told her the night before, but we never saw her; we thought she would gave called or come upstairs to ensure that everything was satisfactory, but no. The rug was filthy and there was a stain that looked like dripping wax in the tub. If we noticed, surely her staff did. The second morning, no breakfast was delivered. The Innkeeper told my husband she did nit think we wanted breakfast because we didn't eat it the day before. We paid for it whether we eat it or not. Every Innkeeper I have ever encountered asked me about breakfast. None have just assumed! She told my husband that breakfast was over, no apology for the confusion. She also informed him that on the weekends, the breakfast is continental. Being a native of Little Rock and having frequented Community Bakery, I recognized the pastries she delivered Friday afternoon. They were delivered on a glass plate with a tiny bit of fruit and orange juice in gladware with microwaving instructions. No jam, cream cheese, butter, fresh cream for coffee. We had to make our own coffee. On our last day, the weekend continental breakfast turned into a homecooked breakfast consisting of ham and egg croissants, blueberry bread, a more abundant and fresher supply of fruit, and just enough juice to wet your whistle. No napkins (we had to use the dirty napkins from the day before. There were also no dishtowels or papertowels either. The instructions were to place the basket outside the door to indicate your desire for breakfast the next day, so we did.

Sean M.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed with Susan for a little over a week - first in the gardener's cottage and second in one of the cottages. We were there to adopt our daughter and were looking for a homey, quaint place as we brought her into our lives .We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The food was tasty and the accommodations were outstanding. Susan and her staff were attentive and thoughtful. And, unlike one of the previous reviewers, we found the cottage stocked with towels and very much appreciated the decor.

Melissa N.

Yelp
Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We had received a message that we were the first ones staying there, so Susan hoped everything would be okay. First problem we encountered was the door would not unlock. After several attempts, phone calls, knocked on door, & email, Susan finally called us an acted like it was us. She had to come let us in which seemed a great inconvenience. We got no apology for having to wait outside in the dark and cold. The next problem was the lack of breakfast. We had ordered the waffles because they were free,(most other breakfasts were$10!) but I also checked gluten free. This confused them, so they just didn't give us anything. They did send an email which I received the day before and replied to that we would take the regular waffles, but apparently she didn't check the emails. When I texted her asking about breakfast, she said I had not replied. Again, no apology for any confusion. I've never been to a B & B that charged extra for the 2nd B to begin with. Very disappointed overall.

Jourdan H.

Yelp
I stayed at the Rosemont for a weekend, and it was lovely. Our room was clean, breakfast was delicious, and the feel of the B&B was on point. Upon arrival, I was informed that our room was being occupied by another guest, but Susan was quick to upgrade me to a nicer, larger room at no charge. I really enjoyed my experience, and if I ever return to Little Rock again, I will be sure to return to the Rosemont.

Yelp
The experience at Rosemont Cottage was a disappointment! The rooms were dusty dirty

Yelp
We love this b&b! My daughter and I frequent this lovely inn. On occasion, when scheduling allows, my husband joins us, too. My daughter and I often do last minute reservations and we have Always been lucky enough to get a room. Susan, the innkeeper is always so gracious. The breakfast is wonderful every time. We love staying in the different rooms. We have stayed In every room in the main house, as well as 2 of the cottages. We enjoy the unique charm of each room. Very clean. We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
On the day we were to check in, I checked my bank statement and noticed that the charges applied were $300 over what we had agreed to. After checking the most recent confirmation, I noticed that it listed 9 days instead of 8. I promptly called Susan, believing it to be a mistake and was unable to reach her over the phone. After 2 days of leaving calls with no return, Susan sent a lengthy e-mail explaining why the charges were different, but did not reply on the 9 days that were on the most recent confirmation. Even though, the rate that was charged was different than what I had been told, I could see that Susan was going to hide behind her policy and had gone into "CYA" mode. Since we had no other recourse, I cancelled the last 2 nights in the B & B to attempt to recoup the extra un-budgeted money that was charged. After many un-returned additional calls, I was sent a re-confirmation that listed 8 days rather than 9. During our stay, we were told we would have access to a washer and dryer. The washer was in the B & B, which we did not have access to by key. Susan could not be reached by phone (only returned 1 phone call our entire stay). We also attempted to walk to the B & B to speak in person, but no one answered the door. Despite having reservations for a 8 day stay for 3, we were left a minimal amount of towels and washcloths with a note that said to call between 10 and 12:30 AM for towels! The bathtub in the master bath had a slow drain. The kitchen was ill-equipped with no baking dishes (despite being advertised as fully equipped). The yard was full of leaves that had obviously been there for weeks. Also in the backyard, there was an old bathtub and other remodeling junk left in the rear of the yard. The second television didn't work. Probably most disturbing was the Ouija board proudly displayed on the wall in the living room.
