Rosenburger

Probably the best burger I have had in my life. It was simple as a burger should be. Without any sophisticated dressings or marination. Like going to the basics, so to say. It's a simply place, order, eat and leave. I would eat there every day if possible.

Last time I was there it was over 7 years ago and I can tell you it hasn't changed. It is still one of the best places in town for a simple burger. My only regret is that they killed off some original burgers with Sauerkraut. You still find some original ones like the one with Gorgonzola and Berries. A good pick.

Location was nearby to the hotel that we were staying at, and it was quite late. So we went to get a bite here. Staff speaks English and were quite friendly. The food also tastes good as well. Note that they prefer to take cash rather than card.

One of the most tasty veggie burgers i‘ve ever had 😍 Ordered the spinach burger because i was curious and it was just sublime, perfect amount and flavour of sauces and veggies inside and with fries on the side oh my godddd… and the paddy is actually made of fresh spinach leaves and the texture surprisingly really works 😋definitely gonna come again!!!

Large selection of burgers and veggie burgers. I had the classic cheeseburger menu which includes fries and a drink, made to order and very tasty. Relatively low prices compared with other burger joints in the area, the menu cost 7,80€. Friendly staff, quick service and great atmosphere. Plenty of seats although the place was not crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Takeaway seems popular here as well. Overall good experience: strongly recommended, will come back.

Ordered via delivery. Can’t recommend. Rosenburger is charging a rich price for subpar quality. The burger was OK, but cold. The sweet potato fries were sized embarrassingly small and are absolutely not worth the 5€. See photos Note to restaurant: if you don’t want to serve takeout, don’t list online.

Located in the very heart of Rosenthalerplatz, it's rather the location that is attractive then Rosenburger. They just profit from the great location. The place itself is nothing special and the burgers are standard ones. Those kinds you get everywhere. There are definitely better burgers in town. Staff isn't the friendliest and looks rather bored. Prices are ok, for what you get. Well, if you are super hungry and really want burgers, try it!! Otherwise choose another place in the neighbourhood.

This, for many years, has been one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. Every time when I'm in Berlin - this is 100% a must. The best part? Consistency, always providing the same flavor, quality and value for money. Truly a delight.

The onion rings in the photo cost me EUR 3.50 I complained to confirm and was given the most nonchalant response ever hence this review. Never returning and would not recommend.

This place was SO GOOD!!!! The burgers themselves were fantastic and it was really awesome that they had a Bio/Organic option. The service was quick, there is a wide variety of burger combos. (my boyfriend got the burger with a fried egg, bacon and potatoes) My only complaint is that there were NO gluten free options other than a salad and fries. I still ordered a burger without a bun, which is always a bummer. But it was still the tastiest burger I have had in years!

This place is SO good. Something comforting, flavorful and reasonable to eat while traveling. We came here twice in a row and got the rosenburger-- bacon cheeseburger. Juicy meat, soft buns and classic toppings that melt and work together... a good portion too, for just under 5 euros!

This is not Burgermeister or The Bird, but definitely better than your average burger joint. They also have a good selection of vegetarian burgers.

The burgers where super tasty, but the fries could use a little extra crisp. They had an impressive selection of vegetarian burgers and sides orders as well. The staff was helpful and we didn't have to wait for long even though we where 7 people!

I really wanted to love Rosenburger, but it just wasn't special. The burgers were a small step above American fast food, but not on par with fast casual like Five Guys or Burgerfi. I went there again after drinking too many Sternburg in the street to get the appetizer platter. I know American portion sizes are out of control, but a paltry two units of each item is kind of sad for 5 euro. It isn't bad by any means and the price is just fine, but there is much better in Berlin.

Not a bad burger place - definitely a good choice if you're in the area, but not the best in Berlin. There is a reasonable range of beef burgers, but what is most impressive if their range of vegetarian burgers. Also a fun range of sides, including sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks, and the prices are extremely reasonable. It's a very casual vibe - you order at the counter and take a seat with your docket, grab your beer out of the fridge and your number is yelled out when your burger is ready. Isn't that the way burgers should be though?

Just one of those average burgers, they do have quite a lot if options, an optional "neuland" beef (which I don't really care but if you do so keep that in mind) and I sat there a couple if times because my vegetarian friends seem to like their veggie burger, but to me? Really, nothing exceptional. For the price they charge I expect a lot more than what I get, but this is how things roll around mitte I guess. Anyway, don't get your hopes up...wouldn't go all the way there unless you're already around...

Wish this place served breaks, cos they should give me one...on the house. Dry burger, crummy ol' wet lettuce. No thanks! Just go to The Bird and eat their trash.

Great burgers. Big, tasty and a good selection. Might be slightly pricey but I guess that comes with the location. Best place to go for dinner after a couple of drinks somewhere near Rosentalerplatz

I ordered the cheeseburger, very simple but unbelievably delicious, the buns are soft and fresh and the patty was extremely juicy and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this spot for a quick and unforgettable bite

This is the best if you just need something quick and cheap. Chips were really nice but burger didn't taste of anything - both chicken and beef. Bit small luckily it was quiet so we got a seat. The food wasn't terrible just not enough flavour but for €5 that is reasonable

A burger fast food joint with few tables inside and some outside. They have quite a few veggie burger options there as well. The one I tried was the cauliflower mix, which reminds me of mash potato yet with everything together the burger tastes quite satisfying. Worth going.

Wow, how have I always missed this place?! I just went there and they have an incredible fast food selection. If you want meat, you can either get hausgemacht (homemade) or bio (organic). The selection for vegetarians is also good... 8 vegetarian burgers (of which 3 are also vegan), a veggie burrito and I believe there was another veggie dish. I had the Vegi-Burger and Crazy-Frites (their name for curly fries) and it surpassed all my expectations! Also a good place to go if you want to just grab something and take it to the park or home. Highly recommended for good fast food lovers! Update: I just tried the bio cheeseburger and it was also quite good! The veggie burrito wasn't the best I've had, but still quite spicy. Not bad! :)

They offer quite a huge varities of Burgers and taste really good. A pretty good solution to people looking for place to have late dinner :) Don't worry in case you are a vegetarian, they have at least 4 different flavors for your choice! I love the Tofu burger a lot. The pommes are always fresh and tasty!

Second time I been to Rosenburger and again amazing friendly staff and good atmosphere ! I really loved last time that the guy behind he counter took his time to check ingredient in the sweet potato chips so that I be happy and safe ! Of course they can't guarantee 100% gf as they have only one fryer and could lead to traces etc but it's the effort which really made the difference and shows good service and understanding your customers ! My friends had he burgers , burritos and regular chips and enjoyed them with some Fitz cola! I defo will be back for the tasty and crispy sweet potato chips and the 5 star is for self serving ketchup set up as they don't limit to a single serving as lots of other places !

It's okay. Not the best burger, not the worst. I eat here once a week since i started working in Mitte. I usually get the pilzburger and enjoy it. Never offended by it, never really blown away. Let's just say it does the trick until i get my butt to The Bird or Hamburger Heaven.

I was in the neighbourhood on a Sunday and I was in the mood for something quick but nice. That place looked ok from the outside, but first of all nobody speaks English over there which is quite rare for Berlin. Then the food wasn't really exceptional, the Rosenburger comes with a weird white sauce similar to Burger King and I'm not a fan of that at all...it was overall ok but average, especially for the price. Next time I'll make sure to go to the Bird!

Cool burgers, friendly staff, crunchy fries and right around the corner from my office. What else do you need. In proximity you will find cool locations like St. Oberholz, CCCP-Bar or Mein Haus am See. The taste does not play with the leagure of "the bird", but it is still nice.

This is a small and very popular burger place right around Rosentaler Platz. You can choose from a large menu of different burgers. The burgers have a good meat to bun ratio and are good. I have to say though that the meat did lack a little bit of flavour and it would also benefit from a sauce. Prices are good, especially since the meals come with a drink.

The food is not very special. The burgers taste ok and they offer a variety of different burgers. However it is a bit pricey and there are better burger places just around the corner.

It's pretty simple burgers but they're nice. Plenty to choose from and you can get bio meat for any burger!

They have some great vegetarian options. I was quite happy :).

Tries to be closer to McDonald's than to real American burgers so thumbs down. But it is alright for a quick stop to grab a bite and have a beer

I got the special: two patties, bacon and cheese plus pickle and lettuce and sauce inside bread. Yeah. Like a burger, a special one. It was decent, I'd eat it again. It was missing something tho, not sure what. Chips were good. Nice and crispy. Steamin' crispy. Steven Christie, good guy. Mmmmmm.....

This place does really great burgers and fries. We love it, not just for the huge range of meat and vegetarian burgers, but for the bilingual menu, super-clean premises and facilities, and friendly staff. And it's cheap! Love Rosenburger.

Not the best burger ever for sure but if you are hungry and in the nearby it is still ok. The location is a plus, really central.
