Rosetown Motel

We occupied unit 2. It appeared to have been recently refurbished and was spotless. Spacious unit. Hot water pressure and temperature very good. Good bed. Friendly check in. Good value.

Clean, tidy, comfortable room. Affordable price. Not too far out of town. Off street parking.

3rd time here and have to say what an absolute gem! It's like home away from home with everything you need. The Hosts Brian and Crystal along with the Housekeeping staff are a pleasure to deal with and at your call whenever needed. Thank you for your hospitality - it's been a pleasure!

Room is bit old, but can’t fault the old building. It’s clean and tidy. Only downside for me was the unstable internet connection. One moment you get fast connection, a moment later you have no connection. Although wifi signal is full bar. I’m attaching a screenshot of the speed test to show the connection speed. Other than the internet, it’s all good. The owner or the person at the reception was pleasantly friendly. 🙂

Comfortable, clean and functional with very friendly people. Good value for money. They let us drop our bags off in the room before checking in time, so we could go off and visit the glow worms.

We stayed at Rosetown Motel for a night in early August before doing a tramp on Mt Pirongia. We are a family with 2 adults and 3 kids so had their Two Bedroom Family Unit which worked well. Clean and tidy, would stay again if in the area.
