Roseville | Luxury Accommodation | Bed and Breakfast | Youghal

We found Roseville House to be an amazing B&B. The room was elegant and spacious, and had a lovely view of the local castle. It is centrally located within walking distance to the Youghal harbor as well as restaurant, and shops. The hosts were wonderful and ensured all of our needs were met. We stayed upstairs and Richie took all of our luggage up for us. They gave us lots of insight into the village with great recommendations on places to eat. They delivered a delicious breakfast each morning with more than we could eat. We would definitely put this at the top of our list and look forward to visiting Roseville House again in the future

Great location, fabulous room, plenty of space. Beautiful breakfast, more than generous and delivered warm. Everything you could need for a short stay in the hidden away pantry, fridge, coffee machine, fresh milk, cereal, snacks. Very comfortable bed and large shower in ensuite. Will be our place to stay whenever we are back in youghal. 5 minutes walk to ahearnes seafood restaurant!

A Hidden Gem We’ll Return to Again and Again We stayed at Roseville House last summer and were absolutely blown away by the experience — so much so that we’ve made it part of our annual summer tradition. We had just come from a high-end 5-star hotel in a neighboring town, and honestly, Roseville far exceeded it in every way: service, atmosphere, comfort, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, Richie and Caroline made us feel genuinely welcome. The room was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, with beautiful local touches that made it feel both elegant and personal. Every detail — from the cozy bed and USB-equipped lamps to the carefully stocked kitchenette and luxurious bathroom — made our stay seamless and restorative. The local touches and narratives of history in the room were an added bonus that really speaks to the storytelling aspect of Irish culture and made it feel like a homecoming to stay here. And then there’s the breakfast. Delivered fresh to our room each morning, it was a highlight of each day: warm croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, toast — all beautifully presented and incredibly generous. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short stroll to Youghal’s harbor, restaurants, and shops. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and savor every minute. We can’t wait to return this summer. Roseville isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to remember.

Caroline and Ritchie could not have been more accommodating. We stayed in the garden suite and it was cosy and comfortable. You are in the middle of everything yet nestled in this quiet oasis off the Main Street where you can walk to everything. In addition, all of the sights are a short car ride away. We highly recommend visiting the Nook pub. Definitely will book again.

Roseville is an absolute gem nestled in the centre of the beautiful town of Youghal.|The experience was fantastic from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by the lovely owner and shown straight to our suite and given the tour. Had everything you could ask for. The owner went above and beyond and dropped us to our restaurant and offered to collect afterwards.|Room was spectacularly laid out. The décor was stunning and pristine with comfortable dining area to eat our beautiful breakfast basket which was delivered to the door full of homemade pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt and OJ. |Only regret was we only stayed for one night but we will certainly be back!!!!

I stumbled across Roseville 2 years ago. It is by far the most relaxing place I have ever stayed. Richie & Caroline are great hosts, they go above & beyond to look after their guests. I love everything about the place but you have to experience it to really appreciate it. We have been back several times & we are looking forward to another stay in the near future.

A nicely updated and very clean place to stay. We received friendly, helpful customer service and very good food. Roseville House is in a wonderful location for walking to all of the streets and sites in Youghal including the harbor. I hope to return soon!

Arrived in Youghal with short notice and owner was very accommodating as we kept extending our stay. The garden suite was lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Central location perfect for returning expats but even more so for first time visitors. Will definitely stay there again.
