Rosewood Tavern

Waitress seemed overworked and it took over an hour for her to take our food orders (although beers came pretty quickly). Once it came though, it was pretty tasty. The burger was really good. The pretzel bun was interesting and I liked it. I recommend substituting their garlic fries too. I got the fried chicken sliders which were simple (mayo, lettuce, pickles) but pretty tasty. It was a bit soggy by the time it got out to me but not enough to take away from the overall taste. Pretty dark and loud in the place, sort of a bar atmosphere. But it's got "tavern" in the name so I'm not sure what I was expecting.

The Lowdown==- Dark wood interior, plenty of seating, good for gathering groups. Rotating craft beer selection. No Happy Hours, but food is offered. Fish and Chips was recommended from 2 random girls at the opposite side of the bar. First of all, Barkeep Martin was awesomely friendly. You'll recognize him by his European accent. I did not know what to expect when I wandered into here, but in my hour of sitting at the bar, I heard the most hilarious stories from Martin. He even showed me some cool Coachella videos of Holo-Tupac on his Iphone. -=- Ohara Irish Stout -=- I seem to be moving from hoppy IPA's to filling stouts. It was smooth. I'd probably try the other beers here next time as I didn't immediately fall in love with this one. There was a large selection of over 20 beers, so plenty to choose from. Come in and have a drink. Everyone was friendly, employees and patrons.

Can't believe this place is gone😭😭😭 burgers were fantastic, and the array of beer and liquor was staggering. Great service, too. My wife and I used to stop in often when we would have a Poetry Lounge date night and they always took care of us. We miss you, Rosewood...

LOVED IT! Amazing food with large portions. So many beers on tap and daily cocktail specials. I recommend the Gravy Fries with Tri-Tip, mouth watering!

I didn't try the food, but they did have a great selection of beer. The staff was also very friendly.
