Ross Castle Historic Accommodation

The Castle accommodation was beautiful and very spacious. It was perfect for 13 people getting together on a trip away and was everything that was advertised as well as more. The surrounding area was so peaceful and relaxing and perfect for leisurely strolls through the forest. Jackie was very helpful with any issue also and the Castle was so cool with an abundance of weird and wonderful decorations that made you feel you were in a ancient castle. Would definitely go back.

Stunning! The castle is amazing and omg the views! We were cooked for on our 1st night by the hosts and the food was gorgeous! A must for any group of friends or family who want to get away from it all in luxury and intimacy

We were 14 friends meeting up to celebrate 60th birthday. It was excellent. The castle is amazing, the real thing. Very secluded location. Meals had been arranged for both evenings and they were delicious. We catered for ourselves for breakfast. Recommended!!!

Spent an amazing weekend with a group of friends to celebrate a 'big!' birthday in Ross Castle on the 17th & 18th October. The castle has a wonderful historical back story which certainly added to the experience of been there. It is maintained to a very high standard ensuring that we had a luxurious couple of days there. The castle is a treasure trove of beautiful furniture, art and numerous other pieces of historical interest, with the old and newer parts of the building blending together seamlessly. We were treated to amazing food by Stephanie and her team. In particular the three course dinner on the Saturday night was amazing, food sourced locally, prepared, cooked and served to a very high standard. Jackie is the lady who runs the show and it was an absolute pleasure dealing with her. She ensured that everything was as it should be and was available if we'd any queries. I have absolutely no problem in recommending this wonderful accommodation.

Amazing experience staying at Ross castle for our father’s birthday. Good selection of accommodation for our family. Loved the banquet room and the large social room which accommodated our numbers very well. |Had the pleasure of a fantastic evening meal on the party night and 2 breakfasts prepared by Stephanie which were fabulous. Really appreciated the effort taken with the home made granola and beautiful fresh berries among other delights. Would definitely recommend availing of the catering provided by Stephanie, it really made the trip!

A group of 14 of us spent the weekend in Ross Castle and had the most amazing time. The castle is incredible, and absolutely perfect for a big group, with lots of different places to relax / hang out / eat meals and 7 very comfortable bedrooms. We had a delicious catered meal on Friday from Steph and her team, and then looked after ourselves with the BBQ on the Saturday. We couldn’t have asked for better - and we were already discussing our return trip before we had even left! Highly recommended.

Spent a week over New Years Eve 2024. Celebrated family wedding anniversary with 14 family/ friends. The host Jackie was wonderful . She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. My husband was in a wheelchair and the room accommodations were excellent . Jackie and her daughter prepared a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner. We enjoyed very interesting stories about the local folklore and area. Someday we hope to return back to our new found friends! Thank you for the wonderful experience. Barb, Charlie, Taylor and Luke

What an amazing experience. Castle very authentic. Rooms fantastic. Cleanliness 100%.|Lovely and warm.|Had the best food I've ever tasted cooked for us.I cannot recommend enough
