Rosaleen and Dennis were excellent hosts. One of our favorite stays since we arrived in Ireland 5 days ago. Best Irish breakfast we have had. The rooms are clean and spacious with a great view of the beautiful gardens. Walking distance from the Ross Castle and many hiking trails. We stayed two nights and loved it.

We had the most amazing time staying at Ross Castle Lodge!!! Rosaleen and Denis were the complete epitome of Irish hospitality. We enjoyed a delicious and filling homemade breakfast every morning. They showed interest in learning where we were off to and if they could provide any recommendations. Our room was super comfortable and all the facilities were top notch and modern. We also enjoyed getting to stay slightly outside of the city - it made our stay all that more cozy while still being a very manageable and flat 20ish minute walk into the city center. The next time we come back to Killarney, we will definitely try and stay here again. Thank you Rosaleen and Denis!

Can’t say enough about how amazing this B&B is! Our favorite stop on our whole trip. Denis and Rosaleen are the most lovely couple and were a delight to stay with. The rooms are huge, clean, gorgeous, and very well appointed. Breakfast is made to order and absolutely delicious, served in the beautiful dining room overlooking the gardens. The gardens are amazing, so lush and well tended. We spent 3 nights here and wish we could have stayed longer, we can’t wait to come back. Don’t hesitate to book this amazing place, you won’t regret it. The highlight of our trip!

My friend and I spent 2 nights here in late August. We were warmly welcomed by Rosaleen. The room was very spacious and clean, with large windows and comfortable beds. There was a good hairdryer in the room which can be hard to find in hotels/B&Bs. The breakfast was good and was served in a charming dining room (you need to let Rosaleen know the preferred time for breakfast the evening before). There is parking within the property. It was about a 20-25 minute into Killarney town and we had a wonderful dinner at the Bricin on Rosaleen's recommendation. Ross Castle is a short distance away and I went for a morning run around the castle and the nearby trails - definitely worth doing as the castle was beautiful and tranquil before the crowds arrived!

We spent two nights here while visiting Killarney and doing the Ring of Kerry. The location is perfect - far enough from town to be quiet at night, but close enough to still walk (about a 20 minute walk into town for dinner, drinks, etc.). It's also very close to the Ross Castle. ||||The room is very spacious for B&B standards, as was the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. ||||Breakfast was very tasty. You had to select your time and menu items the night before which may not always be the case but didn't pose a problem for us. We had more "gourmet" style fare at other B&Bs we visited on the trip; this was more along the lines of good homestyle cooking. They offer plenty of options, too.||||The hosts were lovely and friendly. I'd recommend if you're looking for a good home base in Killarney at a reasonable price in a great location.

The first night we spent in Ireland was in Ross Castle Lodge. We were delighted by the hospitality of the landlord and the landlady. Our bedrooms were comfortable, clean and quite. Ross Castle Lodge is from a walking distance (15mn) of the city centre. Killarney is a lively city with plenty of place to go for a drink or a dinner. I warmly recommend this B&B if you say in Killarney.

We came here only for one night, and I wish he were here longer! Such a quiet place, very close to the Ross castle. Being awoken by birds rather than traffic was very refreshing! Rosaleen will welcome you with open arms, as if you were family. The place is beautiful both outside and inside. Perfectly clean, and it feels like home. The bed was awesome, the first night we could sleep properly during our trip. The breakfast is delicious, made by our host. I recommend everything about this place.
