"On Mount Plose near Bressanone, this former shepherds hut and barn serves hearty plates—tagliatelle, air-dried Alpine speck from Alto Adige, and crispy pork knuckles—ideal mid-trail sustenance." - Adam H. Graham
A nice treat at the top of the Woodie Walk. We enjoyed two coffees and delightful potato wedges sitting outside overlooking the mountains. Then we visited the swings and trampoline - a hit with the kids!

Absolutely the best spinach canederli we had the three weeks in the Dolomites. Great wine to go with it!

Walked from the Plosse cabin lift. Scenery is absolutely amazing. Enjoyed dumpling in soup and a Radler. Definitely would do it again.

Rossalm (Malga Cavallo) is one of my place of childhood. Definitely changed in the years but the view is always one of the best you can get. The walk to is is also very easy and can be done by everyone, also with prams. Food is amazing, the stinco is legendary.
Always a pleasure to visit them and can't wait to go back.

Excellent food and drink, we had their dumplings with beef stew and tried the ski water drink, we’d recommend both highly. Good prices and friendly staff, plus a lovely view and interior! Plenty of seating, we didn’t need to book.

We didn’t expect this high food quality at an Alm and were pleasantly surprised. Lovely hikes in the area, a large kid friendly playground and a great outdoor space to enjoy the amazing views.

It can be rather crowded here, even though it's a big place. The outdoor seating area is heavily used by people smoking, so if you don't want to breath second hand smoke, the only option is to go inside. The staff are very friendly and service is quick.
