Great rooms for the price. Lovely, safe and inviting atmosphere. Good utilities to cook your own food. Friendly dogs. For the people who complained about one staff member only speaking Spanish... you are in Mexico! Learn some Spanish!! The staff were all helpful and friendly and had a smile on their faces.

Good rooms for the price! Bathrooms were cleaned every day. They have two cute dogs who like to cuddle, especially ‘Sky’ 😍 There is a big room upstairs where you can watch tv, work or put on some music. Staff was very friendly! The only negative points for me are: - the refrigerator was too small - There was one towel in the kitchen but in the week we stayed there it was never replaced and it was very dirty - The plates and cups are all made of plastic and are pretty old

This is a basic place to stay with some nice features - it has both dorm and private rooms (we chose a private room with a bathroom, regularly priced at 500 pesos), a kitchen, a pool table and a lounge area with a TV and movies/books to enjoy. Hot water, decent water pressure, decent wifi, extra blankets (it's cool here at night). There is limited space for secure parking (lots of room for motorcycles). The owner offers a discount for motorcycle overlanders.

First day here already disappointed. Bedbugs are all over, requested to cancel the reservation but got denied, which is fine. So I changed to the room next door, bad lighting. Bedsheet has a lot of stains and if they can’t be washed off how expensive to buy new ones. Place is filthy, you can see people’s toe nails on the table. They have the price I give ‘em that. Be aware of those old hostels, they never furnish or upgrade so it’s only going to be worse and worse.

The hostel is great until you need a refund. We changed plans because of the weather and politely asked over 48 hours in advance if we could cancel our last night there and they refused to give us our money back, even though their rules clearly state that the only condition to get a refund is to ask 48 hours in advance, before the check-in time, which is 1 pm (we asked in the morning). The way they word their rules is completely dishonest and designed to confuse the clients and steal from them.

Nice atmosphere, breakfast could be a little more substantial. Bike tourist deal is appreciated. But having a slightly more secure bike parking would be great. The kitchen is nice, lots of room to cook. They sell water at $3P per Lots of friendly dogs on the property, so if you don't like dogs maybe not the best place but I'm happy to get some canine time in.

Rossco backpackers has a great location, not to far from the craft market & food market. It is nice and quiet & very clean. The staff are super nice & speak English & Spanish. They offer laundry services too for a good price so you don’t have to walk anywhere else to pick up and drop off. There is lots of communal space to hang out plus a fire pit in the Evening

It's a great backpackers hostel and great value per money. The place is walking distance from the town center and near an art&craft feria. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom (totally renewed). The wifi works perfectly, the place is clean and the staff friendly. It has many amenities such as a pool table, a rooftop with hammocks and a fireplace. The atmosphere was young but not loud/partying. Totally recommend it if you are on a budget.
