Great rooms for the price. Lovely, safe and inviting atmosphere. Good utilities to cook your own food. Friendly dogs. For the people who complained about one staff member only speaking Spanish... you are in Mexico! Learn some Spanish!! The staff were all helpful and friendly and had a smile on their faces.

Good rooms for the price! Bathrooms were cleaned every day. They have two cute dogs who like to cuddle, especially ‘Sky’ 😍 There is a big room upstairs where you can watch tv, work or put on some music. Staff was very friendly! The only negative points for me are: - the refrigerator was too small - There was one towel in the kitchen but in the week we stayed there it was never replaced and it was very dirty - The plates and cups are all made of plastic and are pretty old

This is a basic place to stay with some nice features - it has both dorm and private rooms (we chose a private room with a bathroom, regularly priced at 500 pesos), a kitchen, a pool table and a lounge area with a TV and movies/books to enjoy. Hot water, decent water pressure, decent wifi, extra blankets (it's cool here at night). There is limited space for secure parking (lots of room for motorcycles). The owner offers a discount for motorcycle overlanders.

Nice atmosphere, breakfast could be a little more substantial. Bike tourist deal is appreciated. But having a slightly more secure bike parking would be great. The kitchen is nice, lots of room to cook. They sell water at $3P per Lots of friendly dogs on the property, so if you don't like dogs maybe not the best place but I'm happy to get some canine time in.

I really like this place. it has been constantly improved = made nicer over the last 10 years or so. the beds are solid, clean, comfy and warm - s.th. which you will appreciate during those often pretty chilly nights in san cristobal. the stuff is welcoming, friendly + helpful. it is very clean + which gets checked up upon regularly. plenty of lockers at varying sizes. huge bonus is the nightly bonfire - good place to get warm + meet your fellow travellers. breakfast is a bit on the basic side ( toast, jam, fruit, coffee/ tea ) but at least they are not stingy about it. ||from the bus station it 's about a mile or so. pretty easy to find, too, 24hrs access

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel with my family during a visit in Chiapas. Loved the nature vibe with so many plants. It is right in the center and within walking distance to San Cristobal sights, while still offering a relaxing and calm atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms cozy and clean. I recommend staying here!||P. S. Don't forget to bring warm clothes to San Cris! Very chilly nights even in summer.

Rossco’s is a fun, friendly, clean and comfortable hostel. I visited for 3 nights and it’s great location makes it easy to explore the town. They offer tours for very good prices and helped plan my transport to Guatemala. The staff are friendly and the beds super comfy with plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The hostel Is really clean and tidy and a great place to chill and socialise.

Rossco backpackers has a great location, not to far from the craft market & food market. It is nice and quiet & very clean. The staff are super nice & speak English & Spanish. They offer laundry services too for a good price so you don’t have to walk anywhere else to pick up and drop off. There is lots of communal space to hang out plus a fire pit in the Evening
