If you are looking for your run-of-the-mill, boring breakfast place with lots of bland food just to fill up your belly, this is not the place for you.
The food is really good and interesting, the portions here are more on the European side, which makes sense since the owner is from Italy. Ask about the specials, as there is likely to be some authentic Italian little treat being prepared, that will surprise you. Yesterday two of us tried the involtini alla romana, with tomato sauce, and it was pretty good, but my favorite was the involtini alla Palermitana, without tomato sauce, really tasty but with a morr delicate flavor.
We had the crostata alla albicocca and a cup of real Italian coffee in the cute glass cups.
Prices are in line with other lunch places in the area, the place is not very big, tables are cozy, but they made the place look trendy and interesting. Outdoor seating too.
