Rossio Apartments

Very good stay , best Windows in a hotel i have ever seen. Looking onto the square and very quiet in the room, almost silent.

Pros: The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, as it is just a short walk from Rossio Square, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It's similar to staying in the Qianmen area of Beijing, specifically like staying at the Shengqi Hotel, where you can experience both the energy of the city and moments of tranquility. The hotel’s prime location makes it easy to walk to various attractions and amenities, with excellent access to public transport as well. The room itself is spacious and thoughtfully arranged, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that adds to the comfort of the stay. Cons: The hotel does not have an elevator, and upon entering, guests are immediately faced with numerous steps, as the building is an older structure with very high ceilings on each floor. This can be particularly challenging for travelers with heavy luggage or those who have difficulty navigating stairs. It would be highly recommended for the hotel management to consider installing a simple lift on the first or second floor to make it more accessible for all guests. Additionally, it is unclear whether the unpleasant smell in the hallway is due to ongoing renovations, but there is a strong, lingering odor of sewage in the corridor, which can be quite off-putting. Furthermore, the street outside the hotel, while conveniently located, is a bit dirty and could benefit from some cleaning to improve the overall impression of the area. These issues, though, do not overshadow the overall experience but could certainly be addressed to enhance guest comfort.

Lovely apartment. Well decorated and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Excellent location with a great view over Rossio square.

Very nice apartments in prestigious location. Clean and very spacious rooms fully equipped with kitchen. No important downsides at all. Great for having a good time in Lisboa and discover the city. In Detail: Plus side + very good location, close to everything important, walking distance to most main attractions + clean, nice, very and modern rooms + extremely spacious rooms, good for luggage + good price down side (only little things to may known) 1. clean, but unusual unusefull bathroom, these useful things are missing: - adjustment of the high of the shower - properly closing doors of the shower (you may flood the floor) - towel rack/hook next to the shower (you will flood the floor again) - space to put your things - little to put soap/shower gel in the shower (need to be placed on the floor) 2. No reception There is no reception. So checking in and paying need an appointment. If you arrive at night they will take care, but a 24h reception is more flexible/comfortable. For nighttime an emergency there is also a 24 h reception in a partnering Hotel about 500 m away Conclusion The Rossio is a very nice place to stay in a great location with clean and spacious, modern rooms. Great to discover Lisboa and/or chilling and having a good time. Make an appointment if you arrive at funny times and arrange yourself with the clean and not to tiny but funny organized bathroom.

Super nice apartment, it was super clean and they clean your room everyday😊

We stayed here for 3 nights and didn't sleep much as our apartment was poorely isolated and facing Rossio Square as well as a glass bottle disposal container that was emptied during the night. Besides this the street had noticeable traffic all night. On top of that, the shower was clogged and when contacting the owner there was no response by the end of our stay. I want to mention that the location is very good and the price quite good. If you do not value comfort and cleanliness this can be an option otherwise I do not recommend.

This place is perfect for your Lisbon stay!! Location is brilliant close by the rossio metro, grocery store and the main shopping street. The view from my apartment to d Pedro square was a bonus specially with the Xmas lights!! The communication was flawless and I was met by Nicole upon my arrival in the city for check in as they have a physical reception. She was awesome and let me check in at 10am super!! The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable! It had everything you could need during your stay (coffee machine, hot and high pressure water) Highly recommended!!

Rosio apartment was a very good choice in our one night stay in Lisbon. It has a perfect location in the city centre with metro station nearby. Apartment is on the first floor with about 20 stairs. We could walk to sightseeing, and there was a lot of shopping and dining in the area. Despite being on lively square, it was quiet inside (we stayed on Sunday night). The apartment was equipped with a basic kitchenette, small eating area, bathroom and spacious bedroom with comfy bed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Communication with the manager was efficient and check-in easy.

Stay at this place while on vacation. I asked the front desk if they could get someone to remove trash that was blocking the entrance. There were rats and food all around the area. Looks as If someone was sleeping there because food was pulled out more later in the day and danishes on the steps. They reply from the office, but unfortunately, we can not. we do not own the street. The apartment a/c was not working and had a very awful smell. Again the office reply was unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the air, perhaps open the window. It was 90 degrees, and the only answer was open the window and let more hot air in. The next day the other apartment door was open and air was blowing very well. I asked the maintenance guys hey they air over here is not working, he replied he is aware the hvac team will be out next week. So the company new the a/c wasn't working and still put us in that unit for the sake of money. I don't like businesses that do not give good service but want your hard earned money. I would NOT recommend this place to a homeless person. The customer service is terrible. 1st and last time. I hope they do better by their customers in the future
