Rossio Boutique Hotel

Thank you for making me feel so welcome on my arrival and during my stay. ||All of the receptionist were so friendly and so helpful. ||The rooms are very clean and maintained to a high standard. ||The weighted quilt on the bed was very comfortable. ||A great hotel in the heart of beautiful Lisboã.

I wouldn’t call it a 4-star property, however it is a very good place to stay in Lisbon. We booked this hotel for a 3+1 night stay recently and really enjoyed it. The property is staffed 24 hours and it has very nice, cozy, and clean rooms over 5 floors. The location is next to St Domenic church and the Rossio Square. It is within walking distance to many attractions in the city. It is also very close to Rossio Metro station and Rossio train station that has trains for Sintra and Cascais. Dining option is plentiful and the original location of Ginjinha Espinheira (an 185 year old establishment) is only meters away. For those who wants to catch the famous Tram 28, just walk to Maritim Moniz stop in less than 5 minutes. Overall a great hotel to explore the beautiful city of Lisbon.

The attitude of the staff is extremely bad. They are not greeting the guest when we come back and leave the hotel. I had seen the female staff smoking near the entrance of the hotel without anyone in the reception. Even the hotel is stated as 4-star, the facilities in the hotel were very poor. The basic hotel amenities were not provided like tissues, toothbrush, toothpaste and hair conditioner. The hair dryer didn’t work as it stopped in every 2 minutes. The worst thing was that I put in the ‘No disruption’ sign in the door but the staff still entered in our room for housekeeping service without our permission. Last but not least, our door was locked. We had to unlocked the door in the reception every time we come back to the hotel. I had bad living experience as I felt insecure and disrespected.

Everything is mediocre, room’s too small , hair dryer doesn’t work too well. Insulation is not great, could hear people talking / moving next door and above quite clearly. The front desk staff is nice.

Small, clean, very well located for down. Hot and cold breakfast options. No restaurant or bar.

The Location of the Hotel is not bad but around it is full of junkies and unreassuring people, the room‘s showers always floods water to outside, would be better if they cleaned the water pipes between now and then.

The hotel is located right in the city center, just a few meters from the metro station. It's on a small street lined with souvenir shops and very close to Rossio Square and Figueira Square. The rooms are well soundproofed. They're standard in size but still offer plenty of space. Cleanliness is good. Friendly staff.

They are located right in front of the market. You take 1 step and you are already in the market. 1. Reception: was nice. 2. Check-in: our room wasn't even ready at 4PM! We had to wait 2.5 hours. That is not acceptable. 3. Room: had 3 twin beds as we asked for an extra bed for child. 4. Balcony is very unsafe as it is connected to all other rooms. Better lock up the window/balcony. 5. Windows are good and keeps all the noise out. We were lucky that our room didn't face the market. 6. Free breakfast that has all basics like eggs, cereal and coffee/tea.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2019 - # 26/100 It's centrally located in Lisbon City Center. Just a few minutes walk from the Rossi bus stop of Aerobus which can be hailed outside the airport as well as the Metro station. Little shops, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance. Inside the hotel is modern yet welcoming. All the receptionists are nice and friendly and are fluent in English. The beds are comfortable, room was cleaned, sheets were changed daily, water bottles and toiletries replaced for free. The best part were the two free chocolate truffles everyday- also free. Check-in was a breeze, although we were about 2 hours early, Mira offered the use of the facilities to freshen up and to stow our luggage while we walk around. The room wasn't quite ready by 2 pm as promised, when we were finally given the key card, a bottle of champagne was delivered to our room. No nickel and diming either, when I requested to print our boarding passes as required of non-EU passport holders, an envelope containing the same was given to us upon check-out, again for free. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and I highly recommend checking this out. Obrigada.

This hotel is def not a 4 star hotel. I booked this hotel through hotels.com the room looks nothing lien the pictures. The furniture is chipped, the beds are hard, the air conditioning in room did not work correctly and the towels were not white they were yellowish. The hotel is located in an alley with bums and drunks next to a main square. At night the street (Alley) it's on is sketchy not for families. The staff is unwilling to help w issue and manager is never present at property only the young receptionist. I would never book this hotel again. Save yourself and do not book here!!!
