Rosslyn House

We are regular visitors to Whitby and this was the bestB&B we have stayed at. It was spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with local kippers, and smoked salmon available alongside the usual breakfast favourites. I particularly enjoyed the fruit, yougurt and granola glasses. The owners are really lovely, thoughtful and kind. . Wet always go for a few days during folk festival week, and Rosslyn house is ideally placed for a lot of the venues. Will definitely be back next year

What a beautiful and well-appointed bed and breakfast! We stayed for two nights in mid-August and are so glad we chose this lovely spot. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room is so lovely. It is decorated in neutral colors and absolutely spotless. It is comfortable, with all you need, including two slices of scrumptious Victoria sponge! Shower is great. The dining area is also beautifully decorated. Everything is so fresh and seems to reflect the beauty of this seaside town. Location is great, too; an easy walk to the town. We loved our stay!|,

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights this month. From the minute we arrived and met Tim and Kirsten, nothing was too much trouble. ||Rosslyn House is immaculately presented and has a really welcoming and homely atmosphere. Ideally situated to explore the town and take in the breathtaking views of Whitby. ||We stayed in room 1 which overlooks the back of the house. I’ve never slept so well when away from home. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. |There is a small fridge with milk and water, tea and coffee making facilities, and a slice of fresh homemade cake too!||Breakfasts were very generous and there is a great choice of hot options which you pre order the day before. We tried kippers, Eggs Rosslyn and a full English during our stay. All superior quality , local ingredients and cooked to perfection! ||While you enjoy the tea / coffee and your pre ordered breakfast is being cooked, you can choose from a selection of fruit and yoghurt, granola, cereals and fresh juices. |No one is leaving hungry and the hosts pride themselves on that. I have nothing but praise! ||An absolute pleasure to stay and we are looking forward to visiting again :-)||See you soon!

Just had 4 nights at this B&B absolutely fantastic, Kirstin&Tim were amazing hosts couldn't ask for better and the breakfast just lovely so much. Our room was very cosy and comfortable fresh milk and water in fridge daily and on arrival pieces of cake (yum)the whole B&B very clean, welcoming and homey and the Knowledge both hosts have regards to Whitby is fabulous, definitely recommend staying here so much we are going to book a holiday with our dog at there cottage to, Thank you both for making our stay a wonderful experience xx

To be perfectly honest, nothing to fault at all .|The hosts were supero, total attention to detail, spotless and uber comfortable. Breakfasts were second to none, seriously perfect. Kirstin and Tim could not do enough for their guests, a piece of homemade cake to welcome us, everything we needed, anything we didn't know we needed and super happy people too ! Total delight!|We are not the most fanatical about walking uphill and this property proudly stands on the top of west cliff but hey, nothing a taxi can't solve !!

Great guesthouse in a peaceful location. Spotlessly clean, lovely hosts, breakfast is really good and plentiful and lots to choose from. Stayed in room 4 right at the top it's possibly the most quiet room there. Only a 10 minute walk to the front in Whitby not worth driving down and paying for parking with having free disc zone parking on the street. Would definitely return

Only had a 2 night stay but would definitely return. Great hosts and great location.breakfast was perfectly cooked and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Ideal location for a short walk to either town or the beach. Tea and coffee water and milk available in fridge and refreshed each day cannot fault accommodation at all.go and enjoy Whitby from roslyn hose you will enjoy.

Fantastic place to stay, lovely warm welcome. The room was beautiful, so clean and the bed was so comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, milk left in the refrigerator everyday. Breakfast was outstanding. Will definitely be staying here again.
