We are regular visitors to Whitby and this was the bestB&B we have stayed at. It was spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with local kippers, and smoked salmon available alongside the usual breakfast favourites. I particularly enjoyed the fruit, yougurt and granola glasses. The owners are really lovely, thoughtful and kind. . Wet always go for a few days during folk festival week, and Rosslyn house is ideally placed for a lot of the venues. Will definitely be back next year

What a beautiful and well-appointed bed and breakfast! We stayed for two nights in mid-August and are so glad we chose this lovely spot. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The room is so lovely. It is decorated in neutral colors and absolutely spotless. It is comfortable, with all you need, including two slices of scrumptious Victoria sponge! Shower is great. The dining area is also beautifully decorated. Everything is so fresh and seems to reflect the beauty of this seaside town. Location is great, too; an easy walk to the town. We loved our stay!|,

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights this month. From the minute we arrived and met Tim and Kirsten, nothing was too much trouble. ||Rosslyn House is immaculately presented and has a really welcoming and homely atmosphere. Ideally situated to explore the town and take in the breathtaking views of Whitby. ||We stayed in room 1 which overlooks the back of the house. I’ve never slept so well when away from home. The room was quiet, spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. |There is a small fridge with milk and water, tea and coffee making facilities, and a slice of fresh homemade cake too!||Breakfasts were very generous and there is a great choice of hot options which you pre order the day before. We tried kippers, Eggs Rosslyn and a full English during our stay. All superior quality , local ingredients and cooked to perfection! ||While you enjoy the tea / coffee and your pre ordered breakfast is being cooked, you can choose from a selection of fruit and yoghurt, granola, cereals and fresh juices. |No one is leaving hungry and the hosts pride themselves on that. I have nothing but praise! ||An absolute pleasure to stay and we are looking forward to visiting again :-)||See you soon!

From the moment we walked into this beautiful home we were made extremely welcome. We were shown to our room and given all the information we needed including our parking permit. The room itself was absolutely spotless with top quality bedding and towels and all those little extra touches that made us feel so welcomed including some delicious cake at the side of our coffee machine. |We ordered our breakfast before going to bed and everything was cooked to order and was absolutely delicious, the perfect start to a busy day In stunning Whitby. |We will definitely be returning to this beautiful home and can’t thank the hosts enough for making our little honeymoon so special. |Please don’t hesitate booking it’s worth every penny xx

Kristin and Tim are superb host who provide a brilliant service especially the breakfast. Free parking through use of a permit and a super clean hotel run by this couple who have built this since May this year. It really is a credit to the pair of them. What a very enjoyable stay.

Just had 4 nights at this B&B absolutely fantastic, Kirstin&Tim were amazing hosts couldn't ask for better and the breakfast just lovely so much. Our room was very cosy and comfortable fresh milk and water in fridge daily and on arrival pieces of cake (yum)the whole B&B very clean, welcoming and homey and the Knowledge both hosts have regards to Whitby is fabulous, definitely recommend staying here so much we are going to book a holiday with our dog at there cottage to, Thank you both for making our stay a wonderful experience xx
