RossoSegnale B&B

Four nights in this charming B&B within an art gallery. Raoul & Alberto are fantastic hosts, very friendly and have great advice on local restaurants. In particular, ||Osteria Nuovo Convento was a stand out for a well-run family restaurant. Breakfast was excellent and you are surrounded by an array of art pieces. We stayed in the white room with a modern bathroom and small balcony. I would highly recommend this boutique B&B to anyone visiting Milan for its charm and excellent location.

We had a wonderful stay at RossoSegnale. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed with antique furniture and artifacts from around the world. It felt more like staying with friends than in a B&B. ||The building itself is a real beauty and the views from the roof terrace are not to be missed. ||Breakfast was served at the garden, which is a peaceful place to sit and relax: a petite oasis in the middle of the city. ||Our lovely hosts, Alberto and Raoul, received us with warmth hospitality and made sure we have a comfortable stay. They also gave us lots of tips on attractions, restaurants, transportation etc. that were all spot on! ||RossoSegnale is located in a quiet neighborhood, only a 10-minute taxi drive from Milan's Central Railway Station. There is also a metro station within walking distance and getting to Milan's main attractions is straightforward. ||We warmly recommend Rossosegnale. It is definitely our choice of accommodation next time we visit Milan. ||Thank you Raoul & Alberto!

Stayed here recently for one night and was very happy I did. Communication with Raoul was very easy. We found the place easily and was afforded an early check in which was most appreciated. The room was lovely, had everything we needed. To top it off, we had a superb breakfast with plenty of choice. ||Situated within a short walking distance to a Metro train station and only two stops from Centrale, the location is great and in a vibrant neighbourhood.||I would certainly stay again should I return to Milan.

After reading the very promising reviews regarding Rosso Segnale, we were disappointed. |We reserved for two nights at the end of May 2022. Only after having transferred the full payment for the stay in advance, did we find out that breakfast was not included. Since almost all covid restrictions had been lifted at this time in Italy and other establishments were offering breakfast again, ||Our main frustration however was the bedroom, which was extremely sparsely furnished and nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com. There were no curtains, no chair and a doorless wardrobe. There were no paintings/photos on the wall. The hallway light had a motion sensor in it, and due to poor calibration it was continually switching on and off. The fittings in the bathroom were poorly installed and the loo seat was broken.|The photos of the property show an attractive and relaxing roof terrace. In reality this area hadn’t been cleaned in seemingly a long time, as there were bird droppings all over the furniture.|On a positive note, though the b&b is located outside the ring road of Milan and quite far from the city centre, the subway is just around the corner. After some initial problems, the air conditioning in the room worked well, you had to switch it on outside in the stairwell. It was very fairly priced compared to the other accommodation available during the stay.|Overall, we think the reviews of this b&b are unrealistic and the details/photos need updating.|

We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful gem of a B&B . The facilities are amazing, rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms are boutique hotel style in appearance and have top class shower gels & lotions complimentary for your use . There is a wonderful garden & a rooftop terrace to enjoy. Breakfast is continental, coffee is great, orange juice is served in a decanter to your table and there is plenty of fruits, cheese and meats to set you up for the day . The two ladies who look after service @ breakfast always have a warm welcome & smile for the guests. Raoul & Alberto are fantastic hosts , very friendly and have great advice on local restaurants & attractions. I would highly recommend this boutique B&B to anyone visiting Milan. It is very close to the metro and in a very safe location!! We will be back!

A very beautiful B&B, with incredible atmosphere of art and hospitality. Raoul, the host, is very kind and responsive. The breakfast in the art-gallery, made with loving hands of the hosts on the area of former garage, was one of the best experiences in Italy. ||Very thankful and happy to stay in Rossosegnale!

Highly recommend this hotel 🏨 very very nice rooms, I had the one with a balcony. Fully equipped, except washing machine. Bed is extremely comfortable. Very close to metro 🚇 Only 10-15 minutes away from downtown.

Cozy rooms in a unique atmosphere. After a warm welcome, we visited Milan with some helpful advices from our host. Wonderful breakfast, and in the evening we enjoyed the warmth on the rooftop. It was great to stay here and we will surely come back! Thank you guys for this B&B
