A fun festival was happening when we visited. There were LOTS of vendors, lots of food trucks, lots of fun! There were free t-shirts, hats and fans, etc. It was a surfing 🏄‍♀️ competition right there on the Tennessee River behind boats. It was the first and was international and I certainly hope it will become an annual event. I would definitely go back again!

This is a very cool area of Chattanooga. Lots of great hotels. So many yummy foodie stops you'll need many trips to sample. Kids have an abundance of activities - Discovery, aquarium, boat rides, etc.

You can walk right up to the Tennessee River. Great place for photography. There are views of a couple of bridges, especially the Market St Bridge. Lush green and well manicured grass. Nice place to throw out a blanket and relax. I seen a lot of people excersing (walking or jogging).

Ross’s Landing is one of the most vibrant spots in Chattanooga. It’s a beautiful riverfront park that was buzzing with energy during today’s Ironman race, with athletes, spectators, and families all gathered along the water. The park itself has been recently renovated and offers a wide river pier, marina, and a natural amphitheatre with the Chattanooga Green, where concerts and festivals are often held. It’s a great place for a peaceful stroll or to just sit and watch the sunset over the Tennessee River. Around the park, you’ll find plenty of restaurants within walking distance and local art displays that give the area a creative, welcoming feel. The public boat landing makes it easy to access the river, and the location is perfect, right across from the Tennessee Aquarium and a short drive to Rock City and Ruby Falls. Ross’s Landing captures the best of Chattanooga: lively events, good food, public art, and unbeatable river views.

You get a nice ride down the river and a really fun band plays. Well worth the money. A great experience.

Great place especially if you have young children. There’s a nice little water park for the kids and adult to cooldown in during the hot summer months, it has plenty of parking and areas to just seat and watch the water.

This was a nice walk along the river and with all the historical marker it was a good way to learn about it all.
