Rotorua Night Market

Stumbled upon this night market while walking around town after dinner. Such a pleasant surprise! One of the vendors mentioned it occurs every Thursday from 5-9pm. There are plenty of international cuisine food trucks, a handful of vendors selling jewelry/accessories, and live music! Ended up stopping at Raglan Kettle Korn for a bag of popcorn- would highly recommend! It’s freshly made and the staff are very friendly.

Open only on Thursdays, the atmosphere is electric, with palpable enthusiasm evident in the bustling crowds, long queues, and contagious joy all around. One standout attraction is the automated donut station, a testament to the Western penchant for technological innovation. It's fascinating to witness how technology enhances even the simplest pleasures. Moreover, towards the end of the market, a Chinese stall beckons with irresistible offerings, boasting the most value-packed meals. True to Asian hospitality, despite the bustling queues, the stall owners are incredibly kind and efficient, ensuring prompt service and delicious fare. Their mention of winning accolades for their street-side stall only adds to their credibility. If you find yourself in town, I highly recommend paying a visit to Chinese Siu Mei. It's an experience not to be missed, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the rich tapestry of flavors and cultures that make Rotorua Night Market a must-visit destination.

Scale was smaller than most other night markets but vibe was definitely vibing

Been to countless night markets in Auck, this was however more spacious and plenty of room for buyers to mingle and enjoy the evening vibe. Held on a Thursday weekly from 5 to 9pm . Lots of new stuff to try out . Dont miss If your in Roto for a visit.

Very chill laid back vibes 😎 + Alot of variety on the food trucks there. + Heaps of places to sit and enjoy your meal. + Lots of rubbish/recycling bins. + Live music. + Prices for the most part are good. - no negatives to really speak of. Really enjoyed my experience there.

A lovely experience in Rotorua. A great variety of food stalls and some local trinkets. I particularly enjoyed the empanadas. Live music at both ends of the market was a lovely accompaniment to the evening.

Good range of food trucks! Unfortunately it's mostly food available & only a few non food stalls.. Was looking forward to shopping for local craft or inedible Rotorua souvenirs.. Recommended for the experience though...

Went back in March and had a fabulous time. It was packed, but lines were still manageable, we still found places to sit while eating, and food variety and quality were good. I would highly recommend the market if you in town.
