Rouda Bay Beach Hotel

Unforgettable two weeks of paradise. Mid-August. Everything is clean and tidy in the hotel. The staff is very attentive. Almost every day they cleaned and changed the linen. There are several affordable taverns with Mediterranean cuisine around. The beach is right in front of the hotel (50 meters). The sea is crystal clear. For families it is super. I recommend!

Perfect distance from the beach. Very quiet enviroment, every room has its own private balcony with a view of a garden full of different kinds of trees and flowers. It gives an island vibe, very fresh. The rooms are huge, clean, comfortable. The cleaning ladies very kind. They ask you if you want to change your towels and they clean the room daily. The bathroom was clean and it had water pressure and a decent temperature, which we didnt expect. The kitchen has the basics, pretty nice but i wouldnt rely on the stove for cooking. We also payed for breakfast, it was okay it had lots to choose from like toast, sandwiches, butter, honey, eggs, peach juice. Its would be best for them to have a buffet, since some families wont eat everything they serve and it seems like a waste of food. Other than that everything was great.

I thought i should write a review for this hotel because there seems to be nothing recently posted. I am on my own seeking a quietand peaceful beach experience in greece. The resort and hotel completely fit the bill and my expectations. The rouda bay apartments (not really a hotel) are very good. Apartment has everything, space, good shower, spacious with fans air con, mosquito screens, balcony overlooking the greenery in garden. Cleaning service excellent and daily. Only small issue for those like me who wish to cater for themseves is lack of utensils and light in kithenette area. Used my torch to check temp dials on hob. No proper knives, and cups rather than mugs. I thought this likely so brought my own fry pan, and basic cooking utensils for my needs. Next time i would bring scissors, a mug and sharp knife, spatula. Great base for beach which is a stones throw away. Sun beds 15 e for 2 at this time. At least 5 tavernas that appear to be excellent. Small shop, nowhere to get cash. The highlight for me are the crystal waters enjoying half hr early morning swim daily with the bay, still and calm all to myself at 8am. I took taxi fm airport (85 e) and sharing on return trip. Recommend hiring a car to explore area and prob the cost as low as cost of return taxi. Angelos man reception. He is a pleasant and helpful young man. Would defo return and recommend. Good boat trips fm nearby village. Beach good sandier one end but mostly pebbles so bring short fins or swim shoes for comfort. Recommend snorkel and mask. Lots of fish to see. Sea warm in seot and first class for swimming.

Everything was great.The staff was very pleasant.The rooms were clean and beautiful with an unlimited view in the big garden of the hotel,the breakfast was amazing and tasty.The beach under the hotel was very beautiful and calm also it has many activities to do(rent a sea bike,eat in a restaurant and relax all day).

The hotel is really nice!!! Quiet place, beautiful garden, near beach with very friendly staff. The room was very clean. I recommend this hotel!

We had a super holiday at the Rouda Bay Beach Hotel. We booked a self catering garden studio for 2, via Loveholiday. The room was well presented, a large double bed with extra sofa bed if needed. Basic cooking of two rings and a kettle, plates etc. and a few pans. Cleaning every day with a change of towels and sheets every 3 days. Excellent team delivering very good service. We used the local mini market for basics and had salads, cheese bread etc. as our daily meal, with a good choice of four tavernas (from ok to excellent) for evening meals. The Del Mare Restaurant is excellent and very Greek. The resort is lovely. We went 11th September (2023) for 10 days and it was getting 'less busy'. The resort has an organized central part with loungers and sun shades, with a pebble beach at both ends. There was a lifeguard on duty throughout the day. I believe in the high season this will be a busy beach but also very quiet, no thumping music and just the chatter of holiday makers as a background to the crystal clear, gently lapping water. Paralia Mikros Gialos is an isolated resort. Taxi in and out or hire a car. NO BUS SERVICE. We had a Nisan Micra for the 10 days (£280 plus fuel) and visited local villages/towns and beauty spots. Driving is not for the faint hearted with hair pins, steep slopes and wonderful views but easy once comfortable with LHD. Bigger supermarket at the top of the road, or shop at Aldi in Lefkada town. Prices are higher than UK, but not unreasonably so. Not for you if you are looking for nightlife. The bay is relaxed, laid back and quite Greek (in a very nice way). We recommend the Rouda Bay Beach Hotel as a good base for chilling and 'switching off'. We had a great, relaxing holiday.

Rouda bay beach hotel is the perfect place to stay for holiday. A combination of the sea literally at your feet, well equipped apartments with everything you could need and which also have a lovely floral and palm tree view from each terrace , a variety of delicious foods and a staff that is super friendly and very accommodating! In our five day stay we enjoyed everything this paradise had to offer. If you're looking for the perfect getaway destination to relax as a family, couple etc... Then this is the place for you. The beach is clean, the restaurant, cafe, mini Market and apartments have everything you need so you don't have to move around all the time. The hospitality was great and we were made to feel very relaxed not to mention safe as cleanliness was a priority! We spent 3 days at this hotel and we loved it. The rooms are clean, updated and very comfortable. The property is quaint and well-maintained. Staff are friendly and went out of their way to help. I have to mention Litsa who was obviously working very hard the entire time we were there. She was so helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. |The hotel is literally steps from the beach. We drove all around Lefkada and this ended up being my favorite beach because the water was so calm and clear. There were 4 children in our group ages 3,5,8 and 11 and they all loved it. |There are a few restaurants there and the food was very good.|I would definitely recommend this hotel to families looking for a quiet low-key getaway.
