On the Grid : Round Corner Cantina

"A festive watering hole, Cantina is a great place to grab some tacos and enjoy some karaoke. Their back patio is decked out and one of the best outdoor spaces to grab a drink in Pittsburgh." - Ashley Fennell

Guac could use salt and lime but portions were very big! Yummy vegetarian option for the setan tacos. They should bring out plates for sharing the guac but overall nice atmosphere and decent food.

I love round corner now Esquina is an amazing restaurant. I have been here many times and love how many vegetarian and vegan options they have on the menu that are delicious and not just salad and French fries.

The waiter was pushy and unwelcoming. The enchiladas were extremely bland, but tacos were ok. The outdoor area is nice if it wasn’t for the poor attitude of the waiter.

Meal portions were good but appetizers were small. We got one to share amongst 4 people (loaded papas fritas) and we wish it was bigger. I thought the food itself was average to above average but not great. Drinks were very delicious and strong! I had a La Cantina Mango margarita and Sangria Blanco, loved them both! Pretty small place but trendy and service was good.

We were there yesterday for Valentine’s Day dinner and the food was excellent. They have so many vegan / vegetarian options which was helpful. I loved everything I ordered but especially their vegan chorizo taco. Love the lime kick in it. It was truly love at first bite. The waitron was very sweet and checked on us only when needed unlike many places where they keep intruding. Loved the atmosphere too!

We are regulars here!! LOVE this place a ton, frequent every other week basically. They are so good with allergies and the atmosphere is amazing. I do have to say they just changed the menu and it is not as good as the old menu. We were really disappointed with the change in the Carne Asada tacos and the Cameron tacos. They were not as good as they used to be. The Carne Asada taco meet was hard to chew and big pieces. The sauce was also not as good. The Cameron was lacking a lot. I hope they go back to the way they were. Truly was so sad because we love this place and the way they did things!

I’ve been here multiple times before. On this occasion we came for a friend’s birthday dinner, and it was a mediocre experience. There were 8 of us and we were seated at a table that sat 6 comfortably max. The drinks were decent, but the tacos are overpriced and never come out hot. I had the chorizo, which was fine but came without the potato. Some of my friends’ orders came out incorrect, which typically wouldn’t be a big deal but in this case was an allergy, and the food runner argued with him instead. Then the server blamed the mistakes on the kitchen, not a good look. The esquites were the only highlight of the meal. All in all, a good place for drinks and get your tacos elsewhere.

Yelp
This is restaurant is really cute!! The patio area is so nice for a summer day. We first got some drinks, I got the Rosalina and my friend got the mamacita. Despite not being the biggest fans of tequila, we both really enjoyed our drinks. As an appetizer we ordered some guacamole and it was delicious! I will say though that the texture was a little runnier than I'm used to for guacamole. For the main meal I got the papas fritas tacos and they were DELICIOUS! I had a really great experience here but can only give 4 stars because our waitress was a bit slow with the service.

Yelp
Always a wonderful time at the cantina! Their guac is a masterpiece and I always have to get the birria tacos! Service is always the friendliest

Yelp
Everything is gluten free!! Can't go wrong with round corner!! We got the speciality tacos at the time - I got the fried fish - they were awesome.

Yelp
Round corner cantina is a favorite of ours. It has the best vibe with the best workers and the most amazing food. We ordered the queso fundido, which is the best queso I've ever had, and the papas fritas tacos. So good!! I also helped myself to a nojito, and the bartender recommended I had strawberry flavoring, so I did with no regrets! I loved my time here and I will continue to come back.

Yelp
Enjoyed a Cinco de Mayo drink with friends last night at Round Corner Cantina! My girls always love it here so much. The food is great, the drinks come in pitcher form, the aesthetic helps you forget you're not somewhere warmer. VERY friendly to the veg and gluten free munchers out there, go get a marg

Yelp
Food is average and oddly there were insanely hot peppers placed on my dinner. The service is mid and the ambiance used to be welcoming but it has in recent years turned from being a place I'd want to be to a place that's nowhere I'd want to be. No reason to go here with soo many better options available in Pittsburgh.
