Round Top Inn

I can't say enough about this amazing place!!! We stayed in the Farmhouse, room B. It had two big beautiful chairs outside on the porch to sit on and relax. When we opened the door, there was music playing on the TV and the room was just perfect! The chest in the room had a coffee machine with 4 mugs and plenty of coffee, sugar, and cream to choose from. It also had 4 wine glasses. The bathroom was equally precious in its decor with lots of towels and plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. One of my biggest pet peeves with hotels is that they give you one tiny little shampoo, conditioner and body wash and 2 bath towels when they know more people are staying in the room causing you to have to call for more. A few days later, I stayed in another boutique hotel where in a room for 4 people we were given one timy bottle of bath products and 2 bath towels as well as 2 mugs for coffee. So I had to call downstairs to ask for all of this which is crazy when they know how many guests are staying in the room. Well, Round Top Inn gave us plenty of everything which was so appreciated!! The inn has a beautiful firepit, outside bar, and delicious breakfast. We were within walking distance to restaurants and shops. I loved this place and can't wait to go back again!!!

My husband and I stayed here in the height of the summer heat to attend a Shakespeare performance by UT students in nearby Winedale. Although it was hot as blazes outside, the AC in our room kept us quite comfortable. We stayed in The Farmhouse. The room was nicely appointed. It was clean and cutely decorated in the farmhouse chic style, of course! One shortcoming was the few available electrical outlets and no USB ports. The breakfasts were substantial, with varied delicious offerings.The property grounds were lovely with mature trees and surprisingly lush landscaping, in spite of the Texas August heat. Shopping, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance to this inn’s convenient location. The rest of the town’s offerings is just a short drive away.

We did not plan to stay here, but I'm so glad we did. It is so relaxing, a place to decompress and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. It is so quiet, peaceful, and the history, wow. We got to meet Juan, who made our delicious pizza and charcuterie board. The ladies that cooked the delicious breakfast are so sweet. I can not wait to go back. Thank you for an awesome weekend!

Wish I could give them a 10/5. We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. Such amazing staff that made us feel so welcome. They truly went out of their way so that we could have the best stay imaginable. We had a little one with us and they personally went out and bought food different from the menu just for him. We didn’t even ask for it. In addition breakfast was AMAZING!Hope to be back soon!

This is my happy place. The Inn is so well located…you can walk everywhere. The decor is perfect - farmhouse. Longhorns grazing across the street. The ladies running it are wonderful. So nice and helpful. Am planning to do a family reunion there next year. The Main House is big and has a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms and baths. You can find any size you need here. Breakfast is excellent. Wine bar next door. ||Perfection.

I stayed at the Round Top Inn for a number of days this past week and it was the perfect location for our business meeting! The setting is so peacful and the food was so good. Everyone so was warm and welcoming. Round Top is a darling small town and I highly recommend a visit!

We spent 2 nights @ Round Top Inn while attending a wedding near by. The Room & bath were lovely. Very large, clean, quiet & all needs supplied. The staff was attentive & very friendly! The “made to order” breakfast was simply Outstanding! They were each creative, pretty and delicious! A great place for a fun get away!

This is a fabulous bed & breakfast. I love their attention to detail and well maintained property, it's beautiful! They are very welcoming and accommodating...especially Ms. Terry, she was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and my mom said she felt pampered. We came out here to celebrate her birthday and she loved it. A great get-away and highly recommended. TIP: Visit Round Top between Wednesday-Sunday, most places are closed Monday and Tuesday. (FYI, the Roam products they have in the cottages are amazing!)

Favorite place ever. Perfection. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Beautiful property and excellent service. Love everything about it.

What a retreat! Arrived a bit early and walked around the charming town, bought cheese and snacks at the cheese shop and shopped more at the food and clothing stores there. Met friends for dinner then we all headed back to the Inn to sit around the firepit in Adirondack chairs. Wine place on property will sell you the wine. There's an enclosed lounge room in one of the buildings where we went when the bugs got to be too much for the firepit group. Our Sloane Building room was just the right size and well appointed. Great night sleep. Breakfast the next morning was scrumptious- no cold cereal serve yourself buffet here. Just yummy!! Just cannot beat it for a restorative getaway from the city. Treat yourself ASAP

This is a fantastic hidden gem! Our room was fantastic and it's want "too girly" so my husband really likes it also. We stayed in Farmhouse C and live the little front porch for evening cocktails or morning coffee. The bed was very comfy and the shower was great! Breakfast was also very nice and included! All staff that we met were extremely nice and helping to accommodate and answer any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

Adorable Inn. We stayed in Bower House which was nice except for the loud road noise. Quaint place & breakfast was nice. Helpful & kind staff.

My husband and I booked a night at Round Top Inn at their Main Roost Master for our 21st anniversary. It absolutely exceeded my expectations! The place itself was magazine worthy. Our place had access to a large open format living/ dining/ kitchen with a coffee bar area complete with Keurig. The bathroom even had a jetted tub! The area around the house was well treed and shady with lovely gardens and flowers. The breakfast the next morning was very gourmet and tasty featuring eggs benedict with avocado served with chorizo, fresh fruit compote and a homemade pastry with a peach filling. The B & B is within walking distance to many restaurants and Hinkle Square which has many shops and galleries. I would definitely book with Round Top Inn again. Tip: You must come, though Thursday through Sunday as most of the town is closed the other days.

So happy to have booked this gorgeous little place. The staff was so awesome, the room was so charming! Wonderful experience! We had a view of some steer off of our porch, and we caught some frogs just before bed. The morning breakfast was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend this place. A nice breath of fresh air from our home in So Cal.

The best B&B I've ever stayed at!! More like a Boutique hotel. You get your own cottage or historic house on this property. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The unique art in each room is so fun and chic! This place is hands down a must-stay while in Round Top!

Had a lovely stay in the Sloan house after Shakespeare at Winedale. Beautifully appointed room, lovely grounds, and the best breakdast I have ever had, graciously prepared by Terrie. Wonderful.

Round Top Inn is a winderful retreat for anyone wishing to stay in the area. The grounds around the cottages are beautiful and the hosts are very kind and accomidating. The breakfasts served in the morning are delicious and full of variety, not to mention generous with the portions! We loved our visit!
