What a great place, brilliant Vegan breakfast, really nice staff and reasonable prices. I really want to give this place five stars, but my word, the facilities need some work, like a diamond ring on the unwashed hand of a mechanic. We have a toilet seat that needs replacing, toilet none brush with remains of, missing flush button, rusty and unclean soap dispenser, questionable electrics, a door stop that wants a good clean, and would it hurt to remove the stuff that fixed something to the back of the door. I'll certainly be returning as this is a great place, but I only hope some improvement has been made by then.

If you are looking for great food... the Route 7 Cafe has you covered, it has always been a firm favourite for us when in Aviemore. It's located within the Highland Home Centre in an industrial estate just as you come into the town, it really is a HIDDEN gem! You will be greeted upon arrival by two of their very small guard dogs who are super cute and follow you around as you navigate around several homely items up until you ascend to where all your food dreams come true. We normally stop here for breakfast but the portion sizes are unreal, the coffee really hits the spot and the staff are second to none. They have every food combo you could even think of catering for all food habits and at affordable prices, it would be rude not to adjust the satnav and try the Route 7 Cafe!

Loved this café. Had breakfast on recommendation of a friend who visits a lot. Superb friendly service and food/drinks. Portions are huge and cooked for you. Speedy service and plenty of space. There's a nice shop, if a bit pricey for a lot of the items. Two lovely wee doggies to pet but they are not up in the restaurant. Great cafe. Hunt it out!!

Quite a gem, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but well worth the find! Excellent menu selection, great coffee, comfortable and great service. Very busy when we were there, but appeared to fluctuate during our stay. Breakfast burrito was delicious, lovely hash brown to go with it. Great atmosphere and great aesthetic.

Unfortunately it’s no for us. None of these pictures menus will be available, they were doing them one year ago, not anymore. We ordered the “homemade pancakes “ horrible taste. The juice it’s a joke , you can tell that’s the cheap fruit orange juice from the markets super acid , not fresh, horrible. Hot chocolate? Super watery and sweet disgusting. Never again.

Came here for breakfast in the summer and really enjoyed it so thought we would go again today. Got a table quickly as there was about five spare if not more. The coffees took 30 minutes to come out then the young girl chucked down the coffee tray, spilling one, didnt say anything and ran off, which led up to a mix up of drinks which resulted in partner not enjoying theirs. I did mention these issues to the girl who served us when paying but she kept saying sorry they are busy, which i mentioned there was alot of people that arrived after us that received there orders before us. Very disappointed 😤

A Lucky find. We’ll revisit. You’ll not drive past, by chance. Worth the visit. Friendly staff. Excited to see a vegan menu.

Yelp
A cozy breakfast and lunch spot in Aviemore. A little bit of a strange location nestled on top of a houseware store, but a comfy wood cabin vibe makes this spot a nice one to relax and have a big meal before a long day. Ordered the Scottish fry up with a coffee and got all the calories needed for the day. The tomato was a great add to cut through the richness of the haggis and egg. Nice and soft hash brown. A little bit of green garnish was a nice touch. Quick service and clean dining area. Great for a pre-hike/camp breakfast or a meal break from skiing.

Yelp
Great breakfast in an odd spot. Enter through a home building store and go upstairs. Great prices and quick service.
