My go-to florist! I’ve been purchasing bouquets from Rouvalis over the last 2 years and they never disappoint! The arrangements are always above and beyond and the flowers are ALWAYS fresh. Every time I buy an arrangement from Rouvalis the flowers last so much longer compared to other florists I’ve used in the past. They’re also extremely accommodating, easy to work with, and the delivery is always faster than expected. Would definitely recommend if you ever need a pop of color at home or need to send an arrangement!

I asked Alex and Sam to design two bouquets for gifts and they created these stunning arrangements. The shop is exquisite and the Stem Bar overflowing with unique varieties. A flower lovers dream!

Rouvalis created the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever seen in my life! They were so kind and helpful throughout the process. I talked to Samantha on the phone about a bridal bouquet and boutonnière and she was able to help me come up with a quote. I had a specific budget in mind, and she even helped me make my budget work by making the bouquet slightly smaller than usual (which I loved because I didn’t want something too big anyway!!!). Once again, I could not recommend them enough. I showed up and they even gave me a free vase for the flowers. What a sweet, adorable, amazing shop! Will never get flowers anywhere else in Boston after going here.

Really gorgeous flowers but on the pricey side. Most of the more expensive plants such as the orchids are very reasonably priced however the small planted flowers lean pricey for the size and quality. Absolutely gorgeous shop!

I ordered arrangements for my child's first birthday. First birthdays are more special in my culture and we gather family and friends to celebrate it. The 2 arrangements I ordered were worth almost $400. I had high expectations from this beautiful shop but the arrangements were so underwhelming. My guests couldn't agree more. I've ordered from Winston before for less cost and they were much bigger and used more variety of flowers than here. I

Wonderful quality flowers and plants at this shop tucked away in Beacon Hill. I got this beautiful bouquet of flowers and am so happy with the quality. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." Go to Walmart & you get bad service, a giant box store, and something that won't last. Coming here is wonderful, with staff who want to help, in and environment of a mom & pop shop that nourishes your soul. Spend a little more money and shop local...it will do your mind good. And....they do most of the seasonal flower for the homes of Beacon Hill. Wonderful place!

My fiancé's house is filled with Rouvalis plants. So we thought it'd be natural that we got our civil wedding bouquet from the same store. I couldn't regret it more. This particular attendant was condescending and couldn't show less enthusiasm to put together a bouquet for such a special occasion. Because I didn't want to ruin my wedding day I didn't say anything but I just want to make sure people don't have the same experience I had. I got out of there with beautiful flowers but very discouraged with the store attitude, which certainly robbed some of the flowers natural beauty.

Absolutely love ordering flowers from them. They are always as pictured on their website and the arrangements will last over a week. Anyone that I have sent flowers to always love them. You will not be disappointed. Antonietta D.

Tons of great selections of flowers and plants! Also have super cool dried bouquets. I just moved to the area and walked by a few times with my dog but finally took the plunge and went in and picked out some hyacinths. A week later they are still going strong and smell great! Definitely make time to stop by if you are in the Beacon Hill area.

OMG they are truly the best florist in town. I've been getting bouquets from Rouvalis for 20years. This week I ordered a sweet arrangement from their website for my friend having a horrid week. She LOVES the springtime white & purple bouquet. This no surprise to me, as I know their flowers are beautiful, unique (purple clematis!) & so creatively arranged. BUT it was cold and she wasn't answering, so their delivery person went above + beyond get them safely to her!

I have never left a yelp review but want to help others when looking for a florist in central Boston. Finding a florist that creates an actual product that matches the online pictures is rare. Nothing is more disappointing than sending someone flowers that look disheveled or wilted. Rouvalis did not disappoint. I am so happy with the flowers my best friend received. I ordered the flowers at midnight and they were delivered that morning at 10am. Great service. Wow. Thank you!!

Everyone that works here is so knowledgeable , passionate and helpful. Im a terrible plant person but im learning and trying. Staff really takes the time to explain plants, dirt and pots which i am appreciative of. The flowers are beautiful as well. stop in a support a small business. A friend passed away and I needed peonies delivered same day, but was having trouble finding a store that had the specific flowers I was looking for. Rouvalis had an incredible selection and gave us peonies in a seriously stunning arrangement. The contact I spoke with, Serena, truly went above and beyond to get the flowers delivered in less than an hour (even though they weren't technically open for delivery at the time) and worked within a tight budget. A well known flower shop located right in the middle of the beautiful historic Beacon Hill! Having lived in Beacon Hill during a time, I frequently enjoyed strolling past this shop and loving the elaborate displays on the store front that change with each season! Definitely sell some beautiful flowers, plants with planters and more but be prepared to be quite pricy. Enjoy getting some blooms here once in a while when you want something more curated and exclusive than just grocery store flowers. Just be prepared for the slightly higher prices that come with a specialty flower shop!

Rouvalis Flowers, my absolute favorite Boston-area florist, has done it again! An incredible winter mix, called Glacier, is emanating vibes of sophisticated beauty and healing energy during these difficult pandemic times. I have ordered many bouquets from Rouvalis and they never fail to impress. In addition, their delivery service and customer service are top-notch. Rouvalis pays attention to the details and does a beautiful job of laying out beautiful, complicated looking arrangements. They delivered in a timely manner and the gesture of receiving such a nice work of art put a priceless smile on my friend's face. I would recommend their services. I send Rouvalis flowers and plants to my mother for occasions- bday and thanksgiving. The plants are always healthy and happy with gorgeous baskets and the flowers are deeply colorful and artistically arranged. Love that they are a small biz and always deliver on time. Very happy ordering from Rouvalis even though I've never been there in person as I live in a different state than my mom. Highly recommend- my mother always brags to her friends about the plants and flowers and loves how unique they are.

I've been using Rouvalis for the past few years and they always have great flowers and designs. Typically I shop at the Beacon Hill location but due to covid I've been shopping online doing curbside pick up or delivery. Great service!

Lovely shop and beautiful flowers but service leaves much to be desired. As a pricier florist, one would expect a certain level of service from Rouvalis. Sadly, my experiences have suggested otherwise. If your flowers wilt inexplicably the morning after purchasing them, Rouvalis will shrug and tell you they don't know how the flowers were treated after departure. Unless you are in the habit of placing your flowers in a steaming cauldron, this explanation will offer no comfort for the $30 you just wasted. Summary: the beautiful flora are worth a visit; here's to hoping the service soon rises to match the blooms.

I've been a patron of Winston Flowers for over a decade now -- business gifts, special occasions, etc. I decided to try Rouvalis for a change, and this was my first and last time. Purchased two dozen roses for my anniversary; delivery was fine and the flowers looked fresher than Winston's. Put it on our dresser and a few days later found a pool of water under the vase, with enough water to have seeped under the dresser top, causing the wood of the furniture to curl up. Put it on a towel and within the next two days the towel was soaked. Emailed Rouvalis -- first reply to me asked for more information and they'd consider a redelivery; after I replied to them, they responded with 25% off my next order. In short, this is what we'll both remember from this anniversary -- defective vase, ruined furniture, and a laughable 25% off coupon for a business that we will never support again.

I live nearby and stop in Rouvalis often to get little gifts or (expensive) bouquets of cut flowers. IMPORTANT: Rouvalis is NOT a resource for plant care knowledge, nor is it good destination for purchasing house plants. Their pre-potted plants do not have drainage rocks at the bottom of the pot, and a majority of their pots don't even include drainage holes. This means that all the water that is not absorbed by the soil/plant accumulates at the bottom of the pot causing root rot and a slow, inevitable plant death. Additionally, the soil mixtures are not tailored to each individual plant (all plants are different and thus have very different soil needs), which often results in a sick, unhappy plant. If you plan to invest in any of Rouvalis' plants as a permanent addition to your home, it is necessary for you to repot yourself after purchase. I am speaking from experience, and am very disappointed that, despite the very high prices, the plants have not been potted correctly and cannot simply be taken home and enjoyed post-purchase.THE PLANT WILL DIE UNLESS YOU CHANGE THE SOIL AND THE DRAINAGE! While the store is excellent for small gifts, Rouvalis does not seem to be the best bet for plant care and overall knowledge.

I asked Rouvalis to do an arrangement for Thanksgiving in my 10" x 3" rectangular glass container, 4" tall. I left it up to them to choose the flowers. Rouvalis did an amazing job and did not disappoint. There are so many exotic and large flowers spilling out and over the edges, that I don't see the glass container at all. It is so amazingly beautiful to behold! It immediately put me into the Thanksgiving and holiday spirit. I will continue using Rouvalis through the holidays, and since I live close by will maintain an account with them.

This is a really cute shop! A tad pricy, but nice! They have a nice assortment of flowers and some cute gifts. The staff here seem very friendly too. Would come back.

Fantastic! I have been a 25+ year customer of the "W" competitor but now switching to Rouvalis! Design as nice, bigger, and less expensive. I now use Rouvalis for flower delivery as well as my windowbox design and turnover.

Had them out again this week, they are truly artists...plants are hard to find in the city between a long winter & early summer but they came through in spades!

Great Customer service and great product quality. I ordered flowers for delivery earlier today for my sister and the flowers were extremely fresh and the basket was gorgeous. Elegant and different from everywhere else. The delivery was made right on time. I highly recommend this place. They definitely know what they are doing, and the price is reasonable compared to other local flower shops within the area. 5 Stars for sure.

I must start off by saying that Rouvalis is an adorable little florist. It is overpriced but they make beautiful little arrangements that are great gifts AND it's in Beacon Hill so I understand their methods. The pots they put the plants in are grossly overpriced -- I know you can get the EXACT same at HomeGoods for 1/2 the price, if not more. Still, I am in sales and I get it. Despite these facts, I have gone here several times. However, my experience today made me write this review and is the reason I am going to give them 2 stars and I will never return. I arrived at the store 15-10 minutes before their closing at 6 PM. I asked if they were still open and got a positive response. Please note this is also 2 days before Christmas. I couldn't walk through 75% of the store due to the walkways being totally jammed with merchandise that they had brought in from outside. It's a small store anyways - about the size of a hotel room. It also seemed to pain 2 of the employees to help me. Couldn't get close to 75% of the merchandise so obviously would need more helping. There were 4-5 employees staring at me in the back part of the store with their coats on, waiting to leave. I felt extremely uncomfortable. 2 days before Christmas? I came to spend money! Give me a break! Baggers at the grocery store have better attitudes.

Recently went into rouvalis for first time, purchased some cut flowers. they lived for 2 weeks! and they were daiseys!!!! Def a fan, Prices are comparable

I have a small budget for flowers, and I like a more natural look than a fancy arrangement. I go in after work sometimes as a reward for work well done and buy a few stems. On a hot summer day, it's a treat to walk into their cooler-- antique looking, with a cool wooden and glass door with a fun handle. Their selection isn't always that amazing, and I never know the price until I walk out, but it's usually great., and I often leave with something really special. I've gotten an arrangement there once for a special occasion, and although I thought it was pricey and meh, the recipient was bowled over.

Rouvalis does an incredible job! They have done two arrangements for me in the last month and both were perfect!

I have been to a few florists around Boston and have been impressed so far. I was very disappointed with my Rouvails experience. The flowers were very dry after just a day, and I needed it for a party. I wold not recommend this shop. There are much more reliable shops to choose from around the city.

This is an adorable flower shop tucked into Beacon Hill, a little off the beaten path. Always well stocked with tons of flowers and plants. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and are always happy to help you find exactly what you're looking for. I've gotten arrangements for multiple occasions here, and each and every time the recipients raved about how beautiful and long lasting everything is - would definitely recommend!

I could not possibly be happier with the the floral arrangement or the service. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered within Boston with only a few hours notice on a Saturday and Rouvlais delivered. The arrangment itself was exceptional. The blooms were all fresh and in top condition. I loved the fact that the styles to choose from were classier and more original than many to be found at other shops. The attendant on the phone was efficient at collecting the information. In short, it was my best experience ordering flowers and I will most definitely be calling again. You are sending flowers for a reason. Have it done right.

I went into Rouvalis a couple of weeks ago to inquire about getting some window boxes done for a home I recently purchased in Charlestown. There were three girls and one customer when I came in. There was only one other customer, who happened to be a very handsome 20-something. I understand that customer service is important but there was no need for three girls to be helping him buy flowers, I was 20 once and I get it but come on. When one finally got around to acknowledging me (after a good 3 minutes) I explained what I was looking for. It was like I was explaining NATO to a 3 year old. Long story short I was told to call one of the owners, which I did...and nothing. I was then surprised to see them at a winter festival in the South End. I once again tried to speak with someone, this time a different woman and she too was dismissive. I left two messages and finally decided to go with a florist down the street from my house, which worked out great! I cannot speak on their work, because I have never seen it. The shop is cute but obviously they are doing so well that they do not need my business. I ended up paying quite a bit of money for 8 window boxes and 2 custom Christmas trees. I will also be doing my window boxes over with at least each season. Moral of the story, you never know what a customer is going to buy so you should treat them all the same. When you are in customer service, even if you are having a bad day or if you are insanely busy you need to fake it or you are going to lose customers just like they lost out on thousands of dollars of my business.

Two weeks ago my company desperately needed a flower arrangement for a large business conference in Boston, after another flower shop decided to cancel my order. Sean and Emily went above and beyond and offered greatest selection of arrangements to decorate our conference and work party held in one of the hotels. Rouvalis will always be my a go-to place for flowers in Boston. Highly recommended.

After buying many flowers here for special occasions and holidays, I placed a special order for a centerpiece for an important work dinner. I emailed Emily and told her what I was looking for, which was a contemporary jewel toned arrangement that was thin and elongated. My budget was $80 and after taxes and delivery it was close to $100. It arrived at my office on Friday and to blunt, it was one of the worst centerpieces I have ever seen. There were plain red daisys ( 80 bucks for daisys?) and a light blue hydrangea and some light purple kale. I called her and told her I wasn't very happy with it, and asked her if she could fix it (trying to be polite as it was a few hours before my party). She had the delivery man come back to get it, then he proceeded to go to the truck and someone fixed it in the truck and brought it back to my office. The only thing she changed was to put a darker hydrangea and shove in a few purple stock flowers....at this point it was 4:30 and I didn't have time to order a new one so I was stuck....and super disappointed. I promptly called Twig, and took it there on my way home from work - within 20 minutes it was fixed and absolutely gorgeous. I can't believe I spent my $100 bucks ( which was riduculously overpriced for what i got) at Rouvalis. In the past, they were the premier florist, but I will forever be going elsewhere after this. The people at Twig were so awesome - I'll be their customer for life.

I got a vase of flower by delivery. The color of the flowers look fade and not fresh ,also a bit dry,the whole appearance just not pleasure.

All I can say is WOW ! What a beautiful experience in every way. The shop, customer service and quality are consistently beyond my expectations. I love their custom work. Time and time again they take my vision and turn it into a breathtaking reality.

An excellent experience. They delivered to a hotel and there was a problem at the front desk. But the driver called my girlfriend on her mobile and returned to deliver them. Very good email communication while they were trying to deliver same day. Would recommend them
