decent pizza, but the service makes you want to leave
It’s wild how service can completely change the feel of a place. Walked in 20 minutes before the kitchen closed—which, fair, I get that restaurants need to wrap up—but from the second I stepped in, the attitude was off. Instead of a welcoming greeting, got a weird look and an unnecessary comment about choosing a table for four. Like, where’s the accommodating hospitality spirit?
That said, credit where credit is due—the pizzas are good, but not as legendary as hyped. A little too greasy, and the seafood pizza had shell bits inside even after removing the shells. I get that it’s supposed to retain the juice, but come on—finding tiny shell fragments in your bite is straight-up dangerous.
The only reason this isn’t a 2-star review is because of one waiter who stepped in later and actually brought in the kind of hospitality you expect in a place like this. If that was the standard from the start, this would have been a completely different experience. But the energy of a place matters, and this one just wasn’t it.
Would I come back? Honestly, no. The atmosphere was too tense to actually enjoy the meal. You can serve great food, but if you make people feel like they need to rush through their meal and leave, that completely overshadows everything else.
