Rove Downtown

This is my first time in Dubai, and staying at Rove Downtown made the trip truly memorable. The hotel is fantastic. Clean, modern, and extremely comfortable. But what stood out the most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly humble and welcoming. A special shout-out to Muhammed and Pooja, who were exceptionally kind and made my stay feel extra special. I’ve never had an experience like this before, and I want to thank them dearly for their warmth and hospitality. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic hotel. Fresh concept and very funky. Great decor . The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts I will definitely miss ! They were awesome with a huge variety. At night the TGI Fridays serves fantastic meals and drinks. It's an added bonus that there is a mini super market with a good range of what you would need. There is also a really nice pool and gym area. A laundry room is also available for long term stays. I can't wait to go back. Love the Rove ....my Dubai home.

I recently stayed at Rove Downtown Dubai for four nights and would like to share an honest review of my experience. I booked a Burj Khalifa view room and was allocated a room on the 14th floor, which is the highest floor in the hotel. The rooms are all the same size, with only the bed type (queen or twin) being different. They are kept very clean; however, there are very few in-room amenities. You need to call and request most of them, including basic items like slippers. I encountered a small issue during the check-in process, but Mr. Nabil (Manager) handled it personally and resolved it quickly. I would also like to thank Mr. Lali (Porter) for his warm smile and helpful attitude throughout my stay. I also appreciated the friendly lady from Uganda who brewed my coffee at Costa Coffee in the lobby every day. I am sorry I did not catch her name, but her kindness truly made a difference. Please tell her "Good Morning" from me in the evening, she'll understand :) My only real criticism is directed at the TGI Fridays outlet on the lobby floor. The food is actually good, but the service is a disaster. Empty plates are left uncleared, it is difficult to place an order, and even paying the bill takes unnecessary effort. This is an issue that definitely needs improvement. Other than this point, I would recommend staying at this hotel, especially if you want to be close to Dubai Mall.

I went to this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff are very respectful. You stay there for a limited time, but you feel like you're with your family because of the respect and excellent service they provide. There's a 24-hour supermarket and a great burger restaurant, and it's close to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. I look forward to returning soon to enjoy myself again.

Stayed on the night of November 10, 2025 From check-in onward, this property felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Everything—from the staff uniforms to the lobby décor and room interiors—reminded us of a slightly upgraded YMCA. Location: If your only goal is to stay in Downtown Dubai and walk to Dubai Mall or Burj Khalifa, the location is ideal. However, if that’s not your purpose (as in our case), be prepared for the difficulty of getting in and out of the property during peak hours. The traffic in busy hours is a nightmare—through no fault of the hotel—but guests should be aware of it in advance. Shuttle Service Confusion: Expedia listed shuttle service to and from the hotel, which was misleading. I messaged the hotel a day before arrival to arrange an airport pick-up, but received no response. At check-in, the agent, Ramdhan, informed me that no such shuttle service exists. He mentioned they can arrange transportation, but it’s not complimentary—which I was perfectly fine with. My concern was simply having reliable hotel-arranged transportation, but that was not the case. Because of this mix-up, I nearly missed my flight. Thankfully, another staff member (name unknown) stepped in and helped arrange transportation to the airport. Room & Facilities: The room was a good size and equipped with all basic amenities. The hallways, however, were narrow, dark, and had a strong chemical odor throughout the day. Breakfast was not included in our rate and was quite expensive to add on. Overall, it’s acceptable for a one-night stay, but I believe there are better options available if you explore a bit more. ⸻

I had a wonderful experience at Rove Downtown. The location is absolutely perfect — right next to Dubai Mall and very convenient for exploring the city. The service was outstanding; every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast was a real highlight! Not only did they offer a great buffet selection, but you could also order additional items fresh from the kitchen — such a nice touch. Overall, everything was just great. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai!

Stayed at Rove Downtown Dubai with my wife from October 3–5, 2025, and absolutely loved it! This hotel is such great value for the money. The location is fantastic — just a 10-minute walk to Dubai Mall, and you can enjoy a direct view of Burj Khalifa right from the property. There’s easy access for cars, plus a small convenience store and restaurant inside the hotel, which is super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with our early check-in. The room was spotless, cozy, and cleaned every day. The beds were very comfortable, though we couldn’t quite figure out how the A/C system worked since it seemed to turn on automatically — not a big deal, just something to note. Overall, the hotel feels calm, modern, and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dubai. Highly recommend!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Courage, the bartender, for his exceptional service, care, and kindness. He truly made us feel at home during our breakfast last month, and although we were disappointed not to see him again at first, we were happy to meet him later by the pool. As always, he welcomed us warmly, helped us place our food and drink orders, and the dishes he recommended were absolutely perfect. His genuine kindness and outstanding service made our experience unforgettable, and it is because of him that we will definitely be coming back. We also want to extend our thanks to Rove for maintaining such a wonderful atmosphere, and to Fridays and Muhammed for their help with carrying our bags. We truly appreciate all of you.
