Set the scene At the epicenter of the 438-hectare site, it is a celebration every day at Rove Expo Hotel. In keeping with the Rove brand, the hotel attracts a fun, social crowd keen to make the most of the location. The backstory Purpose-built for one of the biggest shows on earth, the 331-room property it is part of the Rove Hotels group which is owned by Meraas Holding and Emaar Properties PJSC, two of the biggest players in the Emirates. The rooms All three categories (Cozy Rover, Rover and Suites) guarantee comfort. Although minimal in its design approach, each room is stylish and functional. The Rover rooms are the standard, and although the bathrooms are a little on the small size, there are pull-out sofas for the kids and all you need in a short hotel stay. There are nods of the region in the furnishings and artworks produced by local creatives. Terraces allow for that sense of place and they’re ideal for a spot of people watching. Food and drink The Daily is the all-day dining space, while the Rove Cafe and The Bar are its more casual offerings. There is also an in-room dining menu. Breakfast is a decent spread with buffet and a la carte options, spanning plenty of tastes. More renowned for its funky furnishings and playful approach than its F&B offerings, there is no Michelin-starred chef or elaborate options you may find at the city’s other hotels. The neighborhood/area With the 192 pavilions that made up the Dubai Expo event on its doorstep and post-fair part of a sustainable, human-centric smart city that will reuse at least 80 per cent of the Expo-built infrastructure, guests are well positioned here. A Metro station links guests to some of the city’s biggest attractions including The Dubai Marina, JBR beach and The Dubai Mall, which are a short distance from the site. The service The buzz that the location injects into the team is obvious across the property. More friendly than formal, Rove Expo Dubai sits nicely within the Rove family with its cheeky, funky vibe. For families Given the loud neighborhood the hotel is a part of, families may struggle to get little ones to sleep, but family units are considered. Teens will enjoy the bean bags in the chill-out space and the gaming station and foosball tables. The pool will be of interest to those with kids who like to swim. Accessibility Accessible rooms are available on site. Anything left to mention? One unexpected inclusion is the medicinal vending machine that is packed with items like panadol, hand sanitizer, personal products, toothpaste and sunscreen. Great for those items you might forget. I had a fantastic stay at Rove City Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the warm and professional welcome at reception made me feel at home. A special thanks to Philip and Abir who were extremely helpful, friendly, and always went the extra mile to assist with any requests. Their hospitality truly stood out. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and I’d also like to highlight Amrit from the cleaning team for doing an excellent job. Everything was kept tidy and comfortable throughout my stay. Overall, the hotel has a great atmosphere, modern facilities, and a team that genuinely cares about guests. I would highly recommend Rove City Hotel and will definitely return on my next trip to Dubai.

I had the pleasure of staying at Rove Expo Hotel (Room 1128, 4 months), and it truly felt like home. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and welcoming. A special thanks to Abdul Satar, Pratap and Numisha, who were always so helpful, kind, and professional with a great attitude every time I needed assistance. Housekeeping team also did a wonderful job in keeping everything clean and comfortable throughout my stay. The valet parking staff and security team were always smiling and welcoming, which added to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. I’d also like to thank the amazing reception team – Mira, Abir, Abdul, Chris, Bullu, Katu, Philip, Amr, Ahmad, Yousif, and Mustafa – along with everyone else I may have missed. They were always attentive, supportive, and genuinely caring. Overall, my 4-month stay at Rove Expo Hotel was a memorable and comfortable experience, thanks to the incredible team. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-quality service and true hospitality.

The vibe at this hotel is exactly what I needed, friendly, relaxed, and effortlessly cool, which is perfect for working remotely The front desk team set the tone right away: Abir is a star and Yousef were absolutely amazing with me, warm and professional at the same time. I originally came for a short stay, but the experience convinced me to extend to a long stay. I stayed in room 821, comfortable, quiet, and well set up. The concierge service was another highlight: attentive, helpful, and quick to make things easy. Altogether, this place made work and downtime feel seamless. I’ll definitely be here for long time.

Hello, I’ve been staying at this hotel since the 1st week of September. I am really enjoying my stay here because everything is amazing. The breakfast is delicious, and they serve a variety of items. The hotel’s facilities are excellent – from the relaxing ambiance of the lobby to the quality dining options.I also appreciated the convenient location, which made exploring the area effortless. What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality of the team. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel valued as a guest, creating a warm and memorable experience. Thanks to the receptionist Kate (boy) and Ahmed, Sammy in the night shift they accomodate and assist us what was needed and they gave us salt even in the late night. Hahahahah Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and top-notch service.
