Disappointing Value for the Price
I recently visited Rowan ,l left very disappointed— especially considering the price point. I ordered a prawn dish that cost £16.50, and what I got was underwhelming, to say the least: just three small prawns, a pile of deep-fried chips, a piece of stale, old baguette.
The prawns were decent in flavor but far too few for the price — three prawns for £16.50 feels more like an appetizer than a main. The chips were clearly the frozen variety, deep-fried and lacking any real seasoning or originality. And the baguette? It was dry and hard, definitely not fresh.
For what you’re paying, you’re essentially getting a plate of fried freezer items and barely any seafood. There are much better places around offering fresher, more generous meals for the same or even lower prices. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
