I was visiting Columbus for work and researched places where I can find some bridal outfits near the convention center. I was very excited to come look at the Rowe boutique since they seemed to have a lot of good pieces. Unfortunately the workers inside were very unwelcoming. Instead of asking what I needed or if they could help…. The two girls awkwardly continued their conversation… and then completely stopped talking as I shopped maybe I don’t fit their clientele so they didn’t want to be bothered. As I shifted through the clothes on the shelf they continued to just function as if I was not there even though I was the only one in the store. Even though I found an outfit that I at least wanted to try on I decided against it. It’s never worth spending money when you don’t feel welcome!

Google
long story short, prom dress didn’t come in time and i frantically searched multiple boutiques before coming to rowe and i was greeted my sarah and morgan who were above and beyond in making me feel welcome and assured. the gave me exactly what i was looking for while also encouraging me to try on other dresses that were gorgeous. the boutique is full of luxery and quality items and the service is top notch. shout out to the owner marren as well !!!! will definitely be back !!

I have been shopping at Rowe for over a decade. It became part of my ritual on Gallery Hop nights with our best friends. We would go to dinner with our husbands then stop in Rowe. The staff has always been warm and helpful but not pushy. They have a great range of prices. Its my go to for Commando, Mother and Smythe. Its also just a fun place to stop in and say "Hi" when I'm on my walk with my dogs. Past present future Rowe has always been a fave.

Online buyers beware… What I saw online was not what I got. While the bag was authentic, it was not unused. Here’s what I suspect (and I say “suspect” because customer service never explained): the bag was on display in the store for a prolonged period of time and suffered sun damage. There was no indication of discoloration in the product description. It’s actually appalling, the damage is so bad. Like over $350-for-a-redye bad. Even though the item was final sale, customer service did rectify the situation with a full refund which I’m grateful for. I’m so sad though, that behno bag is sold out everywhere…I hope Rowe reexamines how they handle expensive and delicate merchandise like suede so that quality is not compromised. I expect higher standards from an upscale boutique.

Rowe is by far favorite place to shop in Columbus and has been for the last ten years. The staff is always super helpful, courteous and kind. Rowe carries an amazing mix of pieces that always seem to integrate so seamlessly into my existing wardrobe. Can’t recommend the Rowe girls enough!!!

My favorite place to shop!!! By now they know my style (and my budget 😂) and have amazing pieces that will have a home in my closet for years to come! Always such a fun experience with the staff - so even if I’m shopping alone, I feel like I have friends along for the ride. Just bought my second Rowe label piece and can’t wait to wear it this weekend! Thank you ladies!!

I was visiting Columbus because my husband was attending a medical meeting. I went with a friend and then returned another day when a third friend arrived. The shop is owned by Maran Ross - a very lovely woman who made us feel like old friends. The two other women in the shop were delightful too. We saw a variety of things in different price ranges. Before I left I purchased a coat which was sent to me in Miami. I wish this shop were close to home - I would be there often. It's relatively new so go and see what they have to offer. I loved it

Maren is my cousin so I may be biased but I LOVE visiting the store, even when she’s not there! It’s so welcoming, the girls are so helpful and I never feel pressure to purchase. They genuinely just want to make me feel confident and beautiful. Love love love!

Yelp
Fun boutique with light colored clothes! It's small and a bit tight to walk in here. They've got candles, bottles, jewelry, clothes, cards, and other fun feminine stuff. Prices are elevated here but I'm sure it's quality and unique. I'd come again! The staff greeted us and were fashionable to look at.

Yelp
This store is super cute and chic. The staff is very friendly! They have some great deals and it's a perfect place to stop by after getting ice cream at Jenni's.

Yelp
Rowe is awesome. I wish I could afford to actually buy things there. Ha. But seriously, the store is chic. The clothes are well made. Maren, the owner, is so friendly, young, professional, and very passionate about clothing, which really impresses me. Rowe caters mostly to women, but they have a bit of menswear too. All the pieces have great color, texture, and shape. You'll find a mix of sculptured pieces and kind of drapings, a grab bag of tailored pieces with oversized smocks. I'm loving it. Maren is the perfect representative of the store. She wears what she sells. Rowe is basically an extension of her closet. The jewelry is very cute too. A bunch of oversized stuff that's a bit costumey. The shop dogs are adorable. If nothing else, pick up a candle there. You can afford that. They're white and all soy. They smell just like Rowe, which smells amazing. Tip: Sign up for the mailing list. You'll get fashion tips and sale advisories.

Yelp
This little store had a lot of west coast couture packed into its quarters. My favorite items are the hoodies, dresses, and boots. I absolutely love that they carry Hunter boots. My standby knee length functional yet fashionable Aldo's of 4 years have seen their last winter and I am waiting for this place to have a sale. Which surprisingly enough they have often. I work a block south so I have the advantage of watching the prices drops on all my favorites. My last score included a basic black hoodie with patches and a grey graphic on front and a pearl butterfly hair pin that also doubles as necklace. I got both for a little under 60 bucks. Watch Rowe and your wardrobe will grow.

Yelp
Loooove Rowe. It's my go to for gifts and my own wardrobe staples! Myth busters: There is a huge price range here. This past holiday I bought a $20 pair of earrings for a friend, $40 scarf for the sitter, $65 sweater for mom and received a $200 jacket :) you can spend a lot or a little here. My favorite perk is that it all comes wrapped up in the nicest retail wrapping I have ever experienced! Really great customer service too.

Yelp
Great if you want to be racially profiled and followed around the store like a criminal... My first visit to Columbus, I am from Beverly Hills and was meeting my boyfriend's family for the first time. He has raged about Rowe because his friend- Maren is the owner. I always was skeptical about his affinity towards the store because I am spoiled in LA. I see Mother jeans and get excited...until a horribly rude blonde woman literally came up from behind me while I'm looking at bras and asks if she can hold it up front. First off, where have you been? I was standing waiting for someone to ask if they had smaller size in a particular Mother's jeans. Secondly, no. I'm looking at bras- not even holding one in my hand. Never ever have I experienced anything like that. To say she was rude and awful doesn't quite describe it. My boyfriend was parking the car. Rather than be rude back, I patiently waited for him. I met him outside and explained what happened. He was appalled. Evidentially Maren is a wonderful woman from NYC who saw that Columbus needed some better fashion available, and boy do they! My boyfriend is white. When he walked in with me- we got a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RECEPTION. Although she did stay in the back room and yelled to talk to us while we were in the front asking some questions about a local skin care oil. This woman is awful, and she has completely ruined any hope of me spending money here. I would say a word to Maren- please don't let your employees belittle or be rude to customers. I prefer Big Drop NYC and Planet Blue anyways. But to say I am bummed is correct. I would like to shop there but I'm not going to support a business that racially profiles people and belittles women. For a progressive store I feel like I went back in time. Never thought I'd experience "The Pretty Woman" moment...big mistake. Just because you're a high end store does not mean you sacrifice dignity and respect. She looked at me as though I couldn't afford anything and when I reached for my phone she so obviously visually scanned the inside of my Louis Vuitton bag for stolen merchandise. It was pretty awful. Great store. Horrible employee who almost ruined my shopping experience in Columbus.

Yelp
We ended up Rowe after a snafu with our wedding clothes (UPS Store put our label on the wrong box and we had minutes to spare before expected at the wedding). Our 9 year old daughter (a Junior Bridesmaid) needed something black and long, which is sort of an impossible task. The two salespeople there were amazing. The one found a dress that amazingly worked. All it needed was a belt. She was about to go across the street to her apartment to get one for us to borrow when the other salesperson had the idea to use the black gift ribbon. It worked out great. They also gave us pins to use, to do some homegrown altering. This was a really stressful situation. We must have appeared crazed, looking for something for her to wear but the women at the store were amazing (and calm!). Many thanks to them. (Also, the dress we got was on sale, so that was great too!). Thank you, Rowe!!!

Yelp
I am a New Albany resident who raises Assistance Dogs for Canine Companions for Independence. I first visited my friends at Jacob Neal Home where where we were greeted warmly and my service dog in training was brought a bowl of fresh, cool water. We then walk to Rowe and when I entered the shop was looked upon as if I had a leper with me and treated very coldly as I browsed the racks. The clothing collecting is interesting, trendy and not expensive (other than a few items) so its def a good call if you are in the Short North. I'm not happy with my experience and the gal working there might have asked me about my service dog in training with his cape and calm demeanor instead of ignoring me as if I had a communicable disease. Just saying! You can do better shop keeps!!!!

Yelp
I had a little problem with an item that broke and was either broken before purchase and I didn't realize it or was broken after but returning the item was easy and the girl working was super nice and helpful.

Yelp
I am truly a fan of Rowe - the concept is great, I love boutique style shopping reminiscent of my San Francisco days here in Columbus. The quarters are slightly close and cramped which makes it difficult to move around if there are more than just a couple people in the store. I absolutely love the bags and accessories at Rowe! I have found a couple amazing/unique items(mostly outerwear) in the store, however, they were pretty expensive... so, I do not often make purchases, maybe once every six months. They often have great "end of season" sales... Keep an eye/ear out for those. All and all I feel like I am getting high quality/unique items and friendly service in this Short North boutique every time I visit.

Yelp
After an uninspiring trip to the mall (where every store seemed to carry the same "uniform" for women age 16 - 35), I needed a dose of this unique boutique. On a snowy Saturday morning, I made sure I was in the garment block of ShoNo right when doors opened at 11. I started with Ladybird for an outfit for a work party, but ended up over at Rowe to pick up some accessories to go with. I wish I would have come into Rowe first (though I really liked what I got from Ladybird), because the selection was larger. I was really inspired by all the sunny colors and unique shapes. I needed a lot of assistance from the clerk because I just didn't feel like sorting through everything and becoming unfocused. She pointed me to a pair of beautiful drop turquoise earrings and a stack of gold bangles with some bohemian flare. It's not something I would have picked out for myself on my own, and it was exactly what my outfit (and wardrobe at large) needed. I saw an interesting scarf hung up on the wall-- upon further inspection I noticed it was $25, marked down from over $200! It was super cool; definitely a statement piece to rock with just a simple white tee and great jeans. I would never have paid $200 for it, though. I found out they were having one of their sales while I was in. Another clerk told me that they have a huge sale twice a year. While most of the pieces I wouldn't be able to justify shelling out full price for, the sales were really something. I'll be back when my wardrobe needs another kick in the pants (har har har).

Yelp
Of course, I really want to like Rowe. The clothes are fabulous. For better or worse, though, I can't afford $300 for a sweater. Some of the items were a tad more reasonable -- $30 for a t-shirt, for example. The t-shirt I really wanted was one with Isaac Hayes on it that went for $40. As much as I liked it, I just couldn't swing it. Despite the high prices, the employee present was very friendly and the store's ambiance was pretty approachable.

Yelp
Oh Rowe. Why do you tease me? Such amazing clothes, inviting atmosphere, yet I have no money to fork over to you. Oh well, maybe someday! Seconding the reviews below this boutique has great pieces, and a really friendly, super cute owner!

Yelp
Rowe is my favorite place to shop in Columbus and has been for ten years running. The staff is and (always has been) friendly, thoughtful, helpful, courteous and kind. Rowe carries a great mix of pieces (at varied price points) and the staff has always done an amazing job of helping me select pieces that will mix and match with my existing wardrobe.

Yelp
Cool store, with cool accessories. Only place in Columbus who sells Bson, Hunter, and Alpha Industries. Needless to say, if you're looking to find a great look for a night out, without being too dressy, this is the place to come. They, however, do carry a ton more womens than mens. hopefully the owner can grow her mens business, because I want more!

Yelp
Rowe is absolutely fantastic. Maren Roth, the owner knows every customer by name and also their fashion likes/dislikes. The pieces that Maren picks are always unique and one-of-a-kind which I appreciate. Columbus is not a town known for it's fashion, and Rowe brings a bit of that to Ohio. It carries some wonderful French Connection and Lauren Moffatt pieces, though be aware that some items can be a bit pricey if you are not sure what you are looking for. They have great purses, dresses for everyday and special occasion, as well as fabulous jewelery! Definitely check it out.

Yelp
I walked into Rowe about 30 minutes before I had to be at a wedding rehearsal dinner / my birthday dinner with absolutely nothing to wear, and about 12 minutes total to look around, try things on, and get back into my car. The sales associates started flying around the store, picking out this and that, and being mindful of my budget. They threw me into a dressing room, and the first dress I tried on was perfect. The women cut the tags off of me, rang me out, and sent me on my way. I was back in my car in 7 minutes. Needless to say, the customer service at Rowe is incredible! As a bonus: I gave a top budget of about $120 - the dress I walked out with was $35 :) thank you ladies for having my back!!

Yelp
Rowe is by far the best boutique in Columbus, in my humble opinion. The owner, Maren, couldn't be more friendly or stylishly dressed, and she handpicks everything in the store. Yes, some of the items in the store are expensive, but if you're in for a splurge, this is the place to go. Plus there are some great deal and Maren has some amazing sales... be sure to check out the back rack! Boys, Rowe has some nice men's duds as well so be sure to check it out!

Yelp
Love Rowe, the owner Maren is great and curates the brands and specific clothes very well. I'm actually obsessed with the instagram and it always make me want to stop in, they have very well made clothes and fun brands that you can't really get anywhere in Columbus. Great fashion jewelry collection as well
google avatar

Yelp
Whenever I'm in town I always visit Rowe its an amazing clothing store! They have a great selection of designers, the clothes are always unique and the jewelry is really affordable. Everything I've ever bought from here has always become my favorite pcs and I wear them to death. They are also so nice to me and my boyfriend when we come in together.

Yelp
Rowe has the best clothes, accessories and staff! Whenever I have an important event they are my go-to! They can put together the perfect outfit :) Maren is also so friendly and the such a trend-setter!

Yelp
Maren is a wonderful person who knows the ins and outs of fashion and is very pleasant to work with. She stocks the best brands and has a great staff who are very knowledgable about the brands carried and what would look best on your body.

Yelp
Rowe has gorgeous, trendy, clothing that is otherwise hard to locate in little ol' Columbus, OH. Thank for bringing a little bit of NYC to Cbus, Rowe!
