Online buyers beware…
What I saw online was not what I got. While the bag was authentic, it was not unused. Here’s what I suspect (and I say “suspect” because customer service never explained): the bag was on display in the store for a prolonged period of time and suffered sun damage. There was no indication of discoloration in the product description.
It’s actually appalling, the damage is so bad. Like over $350-for-a-redye bad.
Even though the item was final sale, customer service did rectify the situation with a full refund which I’m grateful for.
I’m so sad though, that behno bag is sold out everywhere…I hope Rowe reexamines how they handle expensive and delicate merchandise like suede so that quality is not compromised. I expect higher standards from an upscale boutique.
