This review is for Thursday's latin night. We arrived before 11 pm for Latin night on Thursdays. The bouncer talked to me as I originally passed by to go to another club. He was so convincing that, when that other club didn't work out, we came back to Tequila House. Anyway, when we ended up back here, it was still plenty early, so while my male friend did indeed get a pat-down, we also got in free and staked our claim on the dance floor before it got too crowded. I came to dance so was totally stoked by the mix of salsa, bachata, reggaeton, and latin house that was on. I had many formative years in So Cal, and really loved what was playing. I didn't pause for even a single song--which is saying a lot because I'm freaking old for this club! I'm way over 30, so at 12:30 when they turned the volume up, I could tell and had to beat it the heck out of there. I normally bring earplugs to these things, but didn't this time so it ended up being a fairly early night. Oh well, we had a great time and will absolutely be back. Beats the heck out of La Revolucion's creepy club, even though that place has way more space and dance lessons, because of the location and the constantly revolving mix of music. I can't comment at all on what happens after 1a, as i turned in to a pumpkin, but I would recommend you find out for yourself and let me know. And bring earplugs if you're over 30. Not kidding. Seriously. At all.
