Gorgeous classical music venue with a traditional rectangular shape. Truly excellent acoustics, it's a great place to see a concert while in Amsterdam even if it isn't their world renowned symphony (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra). Tickets were very easy to purchase online from overseas. Be sure to arrive early and walk around the building and check out the neighborhood as well. It's a tranquil experience that provides a nice break from the crowds and chaos in some of the other neighborhoods.

There is one day out of the week that you can go and watch the musicians practice for free. This is a beautiful concert hall close to many attractions. You have to get there early and stand in line for the free tickets, but it is worth the wait.
