We stayed with our two kids and couldn’t be happier. The hotel had thoughtful amenities like a kids’ play area, children’s menu at the restaurant, and even board games at the front desk. The family suite was spacious and clean, with enough room for everyone to relax. It felt safe, warm, and welcoming — ideal for families traveling with young ones.

The hotel is not new, yet very elegant and located in an amazing area - safe, clean and ideal for evening walks or dinner. There were 8 of us and we really enjoyed the stay. The restaurant is spacious and offers very fresh products and delicious coffee. We did not have to wait for a table even though it was the middle of summer. The staff members were really helpful. It is not always possible to use the swimming pool, but the hotel is huge, the pool quite small so a beach could be a better option. We were considering a different, more modern hotel in the suburbs and are really satisfied we chose Royal Continental because of the location. It is the best possible option. Other parts of the city are really dirty and often unsafe.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The view during breakfast was amazing, and the buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food, especially the pastries. The service was very good. The staff were welcoming and respectful, and always attentive to our needs. A big thank you to Sonia Marches and Maria F. who were particularly kind and helpful. The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and we had an incredible view of the sea, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Just one point to mention: the pool was quite small compared to other 4 star hotels, and we couldn’t access it without a reservation. I understand this is due to the limited space, and the 2-hour limit made sense, but it was still a bit disappointing. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend the hotel !

Decent hotel, large and impersonal .|room ok for size, paid extra for sea view which was lovely.|Breakfast ok- although hot items are kept on burners- so essentially cold- eg scrambled eggs were cold and inedible. Waitress offered to heat them up- but that's not the point- and not good food hygiene either.|No milk in rooms for tea/coffee.|Pool is very small, booking needed, and hats are required and provided- which spoils the ambiance of a nice swim.||Not really 4 star I'd say- no extra touches to warrant the pricing apart from the view.

We had two rooms. A junior sea suite and a twin room with a balcony. The junior sea suite was beautiful with two balconies and a balcony in the living room as well. Very spacious. My teens' room with double beds was fine they enjoyed their balcony. People play music downstairs at night but its not loud. From our balcony you could see Mt. Vesuvius in the distance. The view of people was lovely and I love the location. You could walk to restaurants and its good if you like a little nightlife. My son walked to the water in the evenings and we enjoyed seeing the sunsets.||The staff was also very nice and very attentive. Even helping me with a tour driver that had come to pick us up too early. They told us go finish your breakfast we will handle it. I thought breakfast was good and the cappucinos and views even better. ||Yes you have to make a reservation at the pool. Which we did upon check in. One of our tours was canceled early and we were told that we had to go up to the pool. I explained I had a reservation but now back 4 hours early. They accomodated us no problem there. They gave us 2 chairs, even though we were 4 people but I understand they need to conserve space. They also made my husband put on flip flops as his shoes were not acceptable by the pool. I assume they dont want him to get hurt. You also needed swim caps here. So yes a little strict but I assume its to preserve the spacen and keep it neat. Also its a salt water pool and not that big but we enjoyed the water and our time by the pool. There is bar service and my son ordered a peach drink (no alchohol) he liked very much. ||Also they provide free water and soda water in the fridge, that was a nice touch. ||If I have to really find a complaint it would be the bathroom needs an upgrade. I did like the charm of the old tiles but the fixtures were rusty. It was spacious in the junior suite but it could have been nicer. I enjoyed the soaps provided. Also a warning, the elevator is not air conditioned and its brutal being inside the elevator. It also takes a long time to get one as they are smaller than US elevators. A trick is to go past the main set of elevators and go to the other elevator bank. Those are hardly used people forget they are there. ||Again the location was great. I loved being there at night. Also the gelateria downstairs had the best gelato and coffee! We got some, sat on our balcony and people watched. The lights flickering from the views was beautiful. We also loved our living room area. We also walked to Diego Vitagliano pizzeria, just 2 blocks way and excellent pizza! I loved walking by the water at night after dinner to burn it off. My husband liked being able to see us from the balcony ||All in all it was a nice stay and would stay again. The views, the staff and the location are what make this hotel.

We spent five nights at the Royal Continental and overall had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, spacious, and there were beautiful views from the balcony. Breakfast was consistently excellent and the staff were helpful. ||The only downsides were that the pool area could do with more sun loungers and it was sometimes quite noisy late at night - something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper.||Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is simply unbeatable, offering breathtaking views right from the hotel. A special mention goes to the stunning saltwater pool – spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Truly an unforgettable stay, highly recommended.

We stayed here with a Tour Group for two nights. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff at the desk is very friendly and will answer all your questions. The one annoying thing is that the cashier in the morning does NOT have enough change to change Euros. The Hotel is located on the Waterfront, which is very nice. You can take some long walks here. Restaurants Antonio &Antonia are close by. The room is clean, and so are the bed linen and towels. The shower works as well. I had my first meal in Italy upon arrival in the Lobby Bar. The Waiter was very friendly and the meal was great too. I caution you to go through the Tunnel into the next Hotel and eat @ the Bar. I ordered a cheese plate. All you get is a plate full of cheeses, but no crackers or bread, or grapes. I had to call on the waiter to tell me how I should eat this. I did finally get some bread; the young staff here is not the friendliest. Back @ Royal Continental Hotel, the breakfast is a large spread of food. You find everything here and will NOT leave hungry; the staff here is very attentive as well. I recommend staying here, and I enjoyed my stay..
